Born in DC, moved to Baltimore, then NYC as a young child. Got a BA in English at Brandeis, then moved back to NYC to work in editing. Got married and moved to Boston, where she lived until her death. She has two daughters, Gabrielle (Gabby) and Rebecca.

Use for future classroom: This would be a fun book to read to students if someone looses a tooth at school
Thoughts of book: I read this book when I lost a tooth and it was really fun back then, I still think the book is cute.

I remembered this book from when I was a kid. I was excited to read it to the kids. I think the part about the tooth fairy not possible being real could have been left out, but I still enjoyed this story just as much as I did before.
