As a little girl, I loved the first book, only a few weeks ago did I know that there was a series. This was a wonderful read and took me back to my childhood when I was constantly readying the first book. This can relate to some people in ways of strict parents, it was wonderful know that everything came together in the end. The message shows that you dont need everything to happen all at once, just because someone else can do something doesnt mean you can straight away. Learning about Lucy's magic as well as everyone elses and the adults enhanced powers was very interesting. Everyone has something to do within the forest.
At the time I read this (I might have been seven) this was amazing. It's definitely for the younger reader, and I wonder if I went back to it now if I would still enjoy it.
This series is so charming, and I have such good memories of it. Dipping my toes back into it is fun. Very simple stories, but the concept is delightful.
Kind of short I could say. Just enough for a kid, a cute plot and overall a good book for a kid and some sort of a whimsical story for an adult. Simple, but sometimes perhaps simple is indeed better!
