Fifteen-year-old Molly-visiting her aunt in Salem, Massachusetts, while her professor mom goes on a job interview in Boston-is in danger. First, Dora, the owner of the antique shop next door, dies in a mysterious fire, and then Brian, the son of the owner of the bookstore, falls overboard during a cruise and drowns. Molly believes that both deaths are related but her only clue is a letter she found hidden inside the cover of an old book. Molly discovers that both Dora and Brian are descendants of one of the original nineteen witches who were hanged during the Salem Witch Trials. When another descendant dies and Molly's mom is kidnapped, Molly is sure she is right. Who is the witch hunter? Molly and her best friend, Chloe, vow to stop the witch hunter before he or she strikes again. Can they do it in time?

About the author

Kathleen has been writing since she self published her first book of poems at the age of eight. Okay, she copied her poetry in her best printing, she hole punched the sides of paper, tied a red ribbon around it, made a construction paper cover and called it her first book! She writes in different genres, but Young Adult fantasy is her favourite.

Lots of twists and turns in a memorable story.

The story unfolds as a 15-yo Molly visits Salem. During her stay, the shop next door is burned down, and then the son of a bookstore owner dies. Molly thinks that the deaths are related. With her friend's help, they figure out who is witch hunter but not in time of before Molly's mother is kidnapped.
