Found it entertaining, cute set-up, sometimes lost track and skipped a few pages here and there. Interestingly enough, my pre-teen found it very hooking and she read it from start to end in just a few days.
I wasn't expecting this book to be as funny, touching, and entertaining as it was. I loved it. Written with very strong British wit and style. If you like cats, you will love this book. I especially love that nowhere on this book is a 'human' author listed - not on the cover, the title page, author blurb on the back flap of the dust jacket, or even in the small print publishing details. This book was written by Alice, and Alice alone.
If you are a lover of cats, you will love this book. Guaranteed. While it is written in UK language it isn't hard to follow. Alice, is a tabby cat with a half sister, Tomisina and this is her story. It is so humorous I laughed out loud while reading it. Likely you will find a bit of your cats in Alice and Tomisina.
One of the best "cat" books I have ever read, Alice expresses much of what my own cats would, if they were able to write as eloquently as she does. One that no cat lover should miss.
Alice is a great writer and has many adventures. She has an interesting perspective on life. I loved reading about her and her friends. Highly recommended
