“..masterfully written fiction with erotica and kink being at the heart… what great erotic fiction should be about” Michele Perry - 5 Stars

When book editor Dallas Sears is tasked by business mogul Byron Telling, to sign famous author Marsland Freke to his new publishing business, little does she realise the magnitude of his order. With Telling’s former apprentice Jouline Delacroix also in the hunt, an innocent Dallas quickly realises she can only succeed in signing Freke by selling her soul, and her body.

Guided by the beautiful and sexually talented Reilly Fox, Dallas embarks on an emotionally provoking and physically impacting initiation into a deviant underworld she never knew existed. As the chase for Marsland Freke’s contract heats up, reputations are exposed, relationships stressed, true love kindled and shattered, and sex is on show everywhere Dallas looks in the quaint English village where she lives. As Reilly Fox helps expose her repressed desires and willingness to explore new experiences, Dallas needs to decide how far she is prepared to go in her ultimate showdown with Freke.

Black As Kink is the debut novel from Nikky Devin-Miels – the first novel in the ‘Black As Kink’ series.

If you are looking for an erotic novel that has a brilliantly plotted storyline, loveable and hateable characters, a behind-the-scenes look at how 'some' publishing houses work, charming settings, and a whole LOAD of fabulous sex scenes - this is the ONE FOR YOU!
I thoroughly enjoyed 'Black as Kink' and I really believe that this is what great erotic fiction should be about. The main character, Dallas is a smart, warm, strong, independent young girl trying to work out who she really is, who she wants to become, and what she really, really likes in bed. She starts work at a publishing company that takes 'team work' to a whole new level, and she is overcome, and then overjoyed by what she can learn there. While desperately trying to secure a deal with one of the most sort-after authors, she gladly accepts help from her colleague Reilly (he is simple fabulous!). He opens her eyes to a world where anything can happen in the bedroom, or anywhere for that matter, and it is this lesson that helps her carry out her job expertly!
I loved the main characters - they were dimensional and realistic. I felt the setting, being country England, was beautifully brought to life for me. The publishing house, and the people who worked there are a mixed and interesting bunch. The overarching plot and the other plot threads all weave cleverly together. And the sex scenes are the best I have ever had the pleasure of reading! This is more than just another 'erotic' novel, this is masterfully written fiction with erotica and kink being at the heart of it.

Tried to push this but just bored me to bits. Fan of erotica but this just seemed pointless.
