“You’re the best fake boyfriend I ever had.”

“Love exists… in books, at least.”

There’s no way bookstore owner Jeremy Bennett is going to his ten-year class reunion after accidentally drunk-posting on the reunion’s Facebook page and making himself sound a) much more interesting than he actually is, by b) claiming to do the kind of things he actually only reads about, and c) worse, also claiming to have a super hot boyfriend, when in reality, d) his dating history is more like the bastard love child of a trainwreck and a what-not-to-do reality show.

“I’m no good at romance.”

When one of Nick Roberts’ personal training clients mistakes him for the boyfriend of a new gym member, Nick decides to play along on a whim. After all, he can’t let the guy die from embarrassment, and besides, even though Nick isn’t gay, he has a feeling that the story behind the mistaken identity might prove to be the most fun he’s had since moving to Tulsa.

“I went from faking it to feeling it. Don’t tell me this isn’t real.”

Falling for your fake boyfriend is a guaranteed dating fail. Unless the stars align…

Falling is a steamy, standalone gay romance novel with a HEA and no cliffhangers. It is set in the same series-world as “Someday,” Danny and Mace’s story, and “Delicious,” Gavin and Ben’s story.

*sigh*

I just adored this book. So beautifully written, with amazing hyphenated combinations, the hilarious lists that always made my head spin, the cheerful character of Jeremy, the sweet yet strongly brave character of Nick, and the emotional wringer I went through, it all made for an amazing, delicious read, where I was "falling" through a spiral of emotions.

This is the best work by the author, in my opinion (with me being generous by not counting the many typos and plethora of em dashes, also too close together). She has shown a completely different way of writing and has upped her game. I'm REALLY looking forward to her upcoming books, starting with Loud and Clear itself.

Fun, cute, sweet, but waaaaaaay too long, hammering the same point about how they couldn't be together into the reader's head about fifty-eleven times.

I think this one, edited properly, could have had the same impact with about 100 fewer pages, but it was still a good read with lots of quirky humor, so 3.5 stars.

This is my favorite in the series thus far. Jeremy and Nick are an adorable couple!

The blurb states that a whole lot of mud was involved, but I beg to differ. There was no mud but plenty of sweaty bonding, fake boyfriend action, and friendship (sadly, not enough steam)

Nick's ex drove me crazy. She was just so selfish and entitled. I admired Nick's restraint in dealing with her.

I wish more had been said about Nick's disability; it was sort of blown off at the end.

*** Wonderful love story ! ***
This is a GFY, story of two destined souls, and it's amazing!
Sweet, funny, lively, Jeremy, owns a book store, has been unlucky in love, and is lonely.

He's also a big-hearted man who has daydreams of a fairytale romance, but has only attracted frogs, so far. He wants to change things up and gets into a pickle doing so.
Personal trainer, and
hunk, Nick, training for a Mudder,

is the recipient of the misunderstanding and ends up pretending to be "J's" boyfriend. So, after a few "test" dates, Nick is finding out that "J" is amazing to be with, and feelings are building into something he never thought about before, liking another man. Throw in darling daughter, Ava, Nick's six year old, and we have an unbeatable trio of fun. Nick has a secret, that is revealed later. Loved the chemistry, deeply thought filled characters, smooth flowing plot,

and tremendous super hot sexiness.

Nick is magnificent with his first times with a man, great sex scenes, and true emotions. It is Jeremy that affects Nick, no other man, just this special person he knows he is meant to be with, which is the perfect definition of ( GFY) "gay for you".
I highly recommend this author's writing.
It's entertaining, romantic, and heartwarming. ENJOY !!!

We see some of their friends from previous stories, and that is fun, as always. But these tales can stand alone and make you happy on their own.

I find Sierra Riley fairly dependable when I'm looking for something sweet and fluffy, with a guaranteed HEA. This story was no exception.

Jeremy and Nick's love story was a delight to read. They shared some great chemistry, both in their developing friendship and eventual romance. I found myself grinning dreamily at my kindle on more than one occasion while reading, which is always a sign that I've been won over by a book's MCs.

So far, the books within this series haven’t deviated when it comes to the specific character dynamics. Again, we have one sweet, kind of lonely, gay man (Jeremy), who meets and falls for a strong, amazingly kind, straight man (Nick). The gay-for-you themes are strong here, and I definitely had to suspend disbelief over how easily and completely Nick fell for Jeremy, but these two were just so damn adorable that I simply didn’t care about how unrealistic the story was.

My main problem was how unnecessarily long this book was. Sometimes I don’t mind over-long and ramble-y inner monologues, but this was just too much. Many of Jeremy and Nick’s thoughts and feelings were often repeated over and over in different ways, to the point that I found my mind wandering. I believe we could chop a good hundred pages out of here and the story would still have the same impact; it was simply too wordy.

Overall, I liked this story and I look forward to reading both Cash (Jeremy’s cousin) and Beck’s (Nick’s BFF) stories in the following installments.

This author is REALLY not for me, however great her story premises often sound. Her characters that I've read are all the same dynamic and the writing doesn't work for me. Might work for you.

Pages upon pages of internal thoughts that I ended up skimming. Too much about other characters, who clearly have or will have their own books. Jeremy has a habit of thinking in points a) b) c) which, just no. And plenty of face palming shouts of 'OMG' Also Nick kept thinking 'Jeremy' then saying 'J.' a minor quibble but it bugged me.

The story is kind of cute but with all the skimming I did could have been told in a few a pages. When they are shown together there's a connection but we also don't witness that much of that as it's lost to internal monologues and being told they've done things.

I gave up at 88% not sure how far from the end that is but was exhausted by it.
Rating a generous 2* because if I'd recognised the author's name I'd not have tried it.

I feel like brushing my teeth.
That's what a story this sweet does to me, LOL.

Seriously, this story was actually quite awesome.
I'm not saying it was the kind of amazing 5 star perfection that has me dream about it at night, but I totally enjoyed it.

Jeremy's bad luck with his love life is legendary. He may actually consider himself lucky if his current boyfriend isn't a criminal, because seriously, he's had it all. Whatever could go wrong with a guy went wrong for him.

Drowning his sorrow with friends in alcohol after his most recent break-up is a good excuse to post some random shit about himself on Facebook, like him finally having found love with a perfectly handsome athlete, being a mixologist, a published author, a rock climber and a marathon runner. All of it just wishes, of courses.

But who cares? Facebook is all lies anyway.

Too bad Jeremy runs into a college mate at his gym while staring at an incredibly gorgeous new fitness trainer. The girl tells him that she's planning the 10-year class reunion and how awesome it was that he finally found love and did what he always dreamed of. Following his eyes, she assumes the hot guy in the gym is actually his boyfriend and waves him over.

Nick, Mr Hot New Personal Trainer in town, curiously plays along as he is introduced as a cute guy's boyfriend, being amused about the shades of red the guy can turn. But he doesn't want to blow the charade and even accepts to play Jeremy's fake boyfriend until the class reunion thing blows over.

Weeks of spending time together and developing a close friendship make Jeremy want to drop the 'fake' in his 'fake boyfriend' status. But Nick is straight and only has eyes for his 6-year-old daughter Ava.
But as all of Jeremy's friends have found their HEA with a straight guy, Jeremy wonders...why not him too?

Totally adorable.

What I did NOT like about it (and which cost the story one star in my rating):
The lack of conflict. There are two 'issues' (let's just call them issues) in the story. One is a certain shortcoming of Nick's that HE thinks will be the end of the world if somebody (Jeremy) learns about it, but in fact it just makes you (and Jeremy) love Nick all the more. Because let's be honest, a perfect MC like him just needs a flaw to be REALLY likable.

And the second issue is the question of how to solve the problem of a long-distance relationship. Which, as you can imagine, is not the most terrible obstacle for two lovers to overcome. These two issues are basically the whole conflict of the story, so yeah. It needed some drama.

Oh, and there were a few things in there that I found totally weird, like a.) Jeremy listing stuff in his head, counting them off from A to L (he never made it to Z, sadly, LOL), taking up to 1.5 pages with this nonsense, b) Jeremy's 'rabbit squeals' (what sound is that supposed to be? The sound of a dying rabbit in a fox' muzzle?!) and c) everyone of Jeremy's friends (who seemed to be MCs in their own books) have found straight men to settle down with. Straight guys who just turned gay... yeah, right.

All in all, I really really liked this book. I also loved the tongue in cheek references to 'romance books that fade to black during sex being annoying' (so true), the Kindle Unlimited service (THIS book is actually the first book I read from MY Kindle Unlimited subscription, so yeah, LOL) and Jeremy (who has his own bookshop) only doing quality checks, as in 'he just reads the books he is supposed to sell'.

And finally, Nick. I totally adored him.
4 romantically sweet stars!

2.5 Unpopular Opinion Stars

One has to know that going into this series (and I’m going to assume any book from Sierra Riley for that matter), is that there is a formula and it doesn’t deviate much. This could be both good and bad. You know what you’re gonna get, but then, you know what you're going to get. That’s what happened to me here, and I just wanted something more than the straight big guy who befriends smaller gay guy, where he denies his feelings until he doesn’t and they live happily ever after.

Jeremy knows he should take initiative and live his life more fully. When he drunkenly purports some false things about himself on Facebook and is caught, he can hardly believe his fortune that the new gym trainer, Nick, would agree to the charade of being his boyfriend. Nick’s excuse is that he’s terribly lonely since moving to Tulsa and is instantly smitten with Jeremy - smitten for a “friendship” that he’s sorely lacking since he’s the new guy in town. Hence, the dance begins. This time around I admit that I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t too much hedging and doubt. Once Nick realizes his feelings, he embraces them readily. However, other obstacles are in his way, mainly in the form of an annoying ex with whom he has a child and a disability that he’s ashamed of.

That whole setup wouldn’t necessarily bother me because again, I knew what I was getting. However, this is at least a third longer than the first 2 books clocking at 356 pages, and I felt my eyes glaze over and my mind wander.

So. Many. Words.

Regardless, if you’re a fan of Sierra Riley, this is still sweet and sexy with a nice happily ever after. It looks like subsequent books in this series just might deviate from the tried and true formula, and my curiosity is definitely piqued. I’m looking forward to a bit of variety in my Sierra Riley. Let’s see if she delivers.

This story is funny, cute with some very touching moments!!
I already can say that I'm a fan of this series! Really, I'm totally in with all these characters and LOVE to see all of them again together and being happy ♥ This time we have Jeremy's story :D! Finally! I really feel sorry for him since “Someday” book and his disastrous love life!

♥ So The characters!
JEREMY owns a bookstore and LOVES reading. He's really cute and have happy times with his friends, but his life has been falling into a bit boring routine.
NICK is a personal trainer, he just moved to Tulsa because his ex wife gets a new job here and she took their daughter with her. She doesn't want to give him the paternity of the child so he must do whatever he can to stay close to the girl :( And *important note*…. He doesn't like BOOKS!!
BUT. Don't be mad at him. Is a REASON for this.

♥ The story starts with a BIG FUNNY misunderstanding that makes Jeremy and Nick meet and start a FAKE RELATIONSHIP plot! Yes! (I like that tag!) Ok, a lot of times, this plot disappoints me a bit… But NOT this time! I think it works very good here because the TWO of them are really having FUN faking it! So we enjoyed with them!!

♥ The problem… as always the faking comes with the flirting and finally with the LOVE. But … NICK IS STRAIGHT.

To be honest, he's a very open minded character since the beginning of the book. Speaking about to know and love persons before their gender… so his newly founded bisexuality is not a big shock!

Loved their friends/love story evolution!! VERY CUTE! And a wonderful HEA as ever xD

Note: Omg CASH is back in this book! I think he needs to make some business cards that say “ Do you want your boyfriend back? CALL CASH “

Note: As always I want for more books in this series!!!! Cash! and I add Beck now!!!

Re-read June 2020
I'm so enjoying my re-read of this series.

--------------------------

I really liked this, even though this book was very wordy! I sometimes had trouble following conversations because these guys were king of inner monologues. So conversations could take pages and pages but only 4 sentences were spoken. That was a bit tiring sometimes, but I still loved it.

Jeremy is Gavin and Danny’s friend who owns a bookstore in their little town. He loves to read and is still eagerly waiting for his one true love. He had a lot of disastrous boyfriends, but he can’t help but still hope for the real thing.

When Jeremy and Danny go out one night, Jeremy decides it’s a good idea to respond to FB while being completely drunk. Of course he ends up telling all his old high school friends he will attend the 10 year class reunion with his spectacular boyfriend.

And when Jeremy runs into one of the women organizing the reunion at the gym, his embarrassment is complete. Now he needs to tell her he is not a rock climber, is not competing in the mud race, and he does not have a boyfriend. But he is suddenly rescued by a trainer from the gym.

Nick can’t wait to find out how the red-faced guy got himself into this mess. But he is fine posing as his boyfriend for the moment. Nick thinks the situation is hilarious.

So that is how Jeremy finds himself with a fake boyfriend going to a reunion committee dinner where everyone will see just how sad Jeremy’s life really is. Except Nick plays his part really well, despite having said he is straight…

I love how these books are completely devoid of angst. There is so much potential for it in a fake boyfriend situation, but everything was just smooth sailing for these guys (I loved that!). They grew very close in a short period of time, and Nick wasn’t afraid to touch Jeremy. Or to think about his feelings for him. No real gay freak-out here.

This was super sweet with enough sexy times to make me a very happy girl.

Gimme the rest of the series.

A sweet, fluffy romance full of nice and warm feelings. Funny and cheerful Jeremy meets nice and sweet Nick.
Jeremy is a bookstore owner who dreams to have the life of the heroes of all the romance books he reads and, after another of many failed relationship, plans to go for his dreamed life and be Jeremy 2.0. By misunderstanding, he ends up with a “fake boyfriend”, Nick, a personal trainer, new in town and missing having some friends to socialize despite having to spend a lot of time being a good father to his sweet and super smart daughter.

You're the best fake boyfriend I've ever had

No angst, full of the right amount of sugar to make it a cute fairy tale (suspend disbelief, though), funny, really funny, a bit steamy, with a bunch of nice friends : this story is exactly what the doctor recommends when in need of a comfort read with a nice HEA.

I enjoyed this enough to finish it in a couple of days. There is obviously something being baked into the sweets at Gavin's bakery that's enabling these gay guys to be able to switch straight guys over. James Dobson will probably start a boycott. I didn't read the first book of the series but gave the second book 5 stars - the adventures of these guys in Tulsa was new to me. But it just feels like Sierra Riley went to the GFY well one too many times. Heck, even the MC Jeremy says there's no way he'll get his straight crush Nick to turn into an actual boyfriend like his two buddies did with THEIR straight guys. Never fear, Jeremy. Just believe in yourself and it'll happen! Anyway...I actually liked both guys and was rooting for them to overcome their obstacles. But I admit to skimming after a while. When there's a conversation going on and in between two lines of dialogue there's 5 paragraphs of introspection (navel gazing,) I lose interest. I'm not a shallow guy, I swear, but when I'm talking to someone I don't have huge asides in my noggin in between sentences. I'm pretty much just yap yap yapping, full steam ahead. Big surprise, no?

I LOVED THIS! SO many reasons...

A) Jeremy is adorable beyond words and I just want to hug him - he is truly ADORBS!
B) He makes lists like this in his head
C) PUMPKIN!
D) This story had a kid that didn't annoy me!
E) The way he and Nick just fell together for each other was beautiful, felt real, wasn't messy or overdramatic, and I just loved it
F) This series is just the best - now can we get Cash and/or Nick's friend his man? And Cash should start charging to help his friends repair their relationships haha

This story is set in the same world as Someday and Delicious, and while you don't have to read those for this to make sense, I think it would just mean more knowing the other characters. These 3 stories are my absolutely favorite from this author, and would be the first thing I recommend you try. I think Delicious might still be my favorite of the three, but it's so hard to choose!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Booooooooring af.

It wasn't bad. But it was boring. I skimmed it. Nothing happens so it wasn't a problem. Most chapters can be summarized in one sentence. "Useless prologue." "I embarrass myself." "Meet cute" "I worried about this." "I made a decision about that." "This chapter is from another point of view" "I had a sex dream." "I got a perfect epilogue." I skipped bits, but like I said, nothing happens so it doesn't matter.

This book has incredible high ratings, everyone seems to love it and logically I can absolutely understand why. There were so many things to love about the story, about the 2 main characters and their flaws and problems. It should easily have been a 4 star read for me, but unfortunately this just didn't work.
I already had big problems getting into the story, nearly abandoning it after 10%. Fortunately it got better afterwards, but still I was not convinced.
I didn't like the way Jeremy pushed himself towards Nick, knowing he was straight. The transformation from straight Nick to gay Nick was absolutely unbelievable, actually this is ridiculous, because in the beginning Nick was not convincing as a straight guy, so why didn't I believe he could become gay? It just felt wrong and I didn't like it.
When Nick decides to move back to Seattle he tells Jeremy and then doesn't talk to him any more, next time they meet, everything turns out fine and Jeremy is happy because he knows Nick will have his back, he can trust Nick, Nick is his best friend blablabla, this is ridiculous, the guy just abandoned him before...
This is just one of several examples of events not making any sense.
I also was not convinced about the great friendship those 2 supposedly had.
I felt no connection, besides Jeremy lusting after Nicks hot body.
Usually I love main characters who have disabilities (in this case dyslexia), but even this did not feel right in the story and the way it was handled (or rather ignored) was disappointing.
All the reviewers can't be wrong, so it is probably me, but this was not even above average for me, very disappointing 2.5 stars.

Okay so Sierra Riley has been spitting out books, like a really randy female cat spitting out kittens on a farm.
I've only read one other of her books, and that was a hit for me, so I thought I would give this a try, since it was supposed to be funny, and the price was right (heh). Also I have a soft heart for rambling/clueless/bumbling MCs.

It's not that this book was bad, but DAMN it was LOOOOONG! I think Ajax1978 said it best in his review: But I admit to skimming after a while. When there's a conversation going on and in between two lines of dialogue there's 5 paragraphs of introspection (navel gazing,) I lose interest.

I thought the humor was okay, and Jeremy was cute with all his lists. Nick was cool, and I liked that he didn't freak, when figuring out that he wanted more with Jeremy. It suited Nick's described (laidback/chill) persona well.
But the introspection; the 'thoughts' that followed everytime somebody did something or said something, made this really hard to get through. I ended up skipping a lot of pages after the 50% mark, because at that point I was really annoyed with reading the same sentences/ideas/reasonings for every fucking thing.

Also Heather (Nick's ex-wife) was a bitch of proportions. She had a tough childhood, I get it, but the way she treated Nick (and by association Ava) was quite frankly disgusting. And then
This is one of those instances where the female character is almost comical in the gender characterization by the author.

It also annoyed me that Nick was so reluctant to get a lawyer, to have some rights in regards to Ava. He (supposedly) would do anything for Ava, but just not that, and that was a total contradiction to everything else he said/thought in regards to Ava.
but large parts of the book were spent on Nick's conviction to be the BEST FATHER EVER!
If Heather died or decided that Nick would no longer be a part of Ava's life, he would have been in for a long fight, (fathers still don't have the same rights as mothers).

And (IMO) a good father would fight for his rights, to let the child know they were worth fighting for. Also I'm pretty sure that Ava would benefit GREATLY to get some time away from her mother's military operation at home.

Yeah so, I will probably see if I like some of Sierra's other books, but this one was just loooooong.

This is another great story in Sierra's books. We met Jeremy in her last book Delicious and now we hear his story. Jeremy is the guy who is unlucky in love, he always picks the wrong ones. All is friends are in love and happy and he wants that too. I loved the way Jeremy make check lists in his head. It made me laugh when he would make it to the letter g and want to keep going. Jeremy is a kind and loving friend and they want him to find happiness as well. Nick is great. He is new to the area due to following his daughter, Ava, and her mom. He left his gay best friend behind. Nick is straight but when he sees a chance to help someone he does. Jeremy's 10 year HS reunion is coming up and he posts on the facebook page about what a great life and boyfriend he has. He assumes he will never see anyone from HS and doesn't plan on going to the reunion. When he goes to the gym he bumps into a person from his HS and she gushes over what a great life he has. Nick is a trainer at the gym and she assumes that Nick is Jeremy's boyfriend. As I said prior Nick finds himself helping Jeremy out of the sticky situation even though they don't even know each other. Jeremy is grateful and they become friends. Nick is alone in this new place and he feels Jeremy would make a good new friend. They grow close and start to have feelings for each other but as far as Jeremy is concerned Nick is straight. The chemistry between these 2 from the start was hot. There was really no drama in this story but just a great love story and a HEA. Sierra's stories always pull me in with how 2 men fall in love and usually both are total opposites but work together. Loved this story and the heartfelt words she writes. This is a really lovely pretend relationship romance. Nick is super kind and Jeremy is quirky in the ways writers often are.

There is fun dating here and lots of little surprises that are revealed about each hero along the way which make this a very engaging romance.

The love story is at the center but we get a good deal of personal growth from both heroes and nice circle of friends.

Best. Book EVER! Sierra knocked this one out of the -- er --mud? Pun intended.

When I read my first Sierra Riley book, I knew she was on to something. The little subtle display of innocence that caught you off guard until the raunchiness slapped you in the face. I absolutely LOVED this book. I was so riveted, I locked the kids out until I completed it.

In his heart of hearts, Jeremy just wanted to be special to someone.

Jeremy fell fast and he fell hard. No wonder he had so many exes! But on the bright side, Jeremy was a doll. He was that character that had you mentally rolling your eyes with his long-windedness of thoughts. Jeremy wanted to be love because a) he deserved it after all the frogs he'd gone through, b) just to make it out alive c) unscathed, d) willing to go back into the shark infested waters, e) until the perfect man came along. What Jeremy did not expect when he drunk Face Book message was to have the perfect man land in his path and spoil him for all other.

And honestly, if he were into guys, he'd probably go for someone like Jeremy.

Nick was a trainer, who had made the move to be closer to his daughter. Though he had a disability that had hindered him throughout his life, he was determined to be the best father ever. Finding himself the fake boyfriend of the yummy Jeremy threw him off guard. Even having a gay best friend could not prepare Nick for all that was Jeremy and the more time they spent together, the more time he wanted.

He was THE ONE.

There is no stopping the heart when it is invested. And no matter how straight, Nick found himself falling for Jeremy and vice versa. But there were obstacles the men needed to face and a big thing like distance when Nick found himself once again moving to be with his daughter. Read how the guys got there HEA, and see why I am loving it.

Reviewer's note:

On the plus side, I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys laughter, sexy man on man action, a precocious six year old and a man who knows what he wants and doesn't let the fact that he is straight stand in his way.

Ms. Riley, you have made me fall in love with Beck and Cash, so I am pleading for their story!!

SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This book follows up Someday and Delicious and features Danny and Gavin's friend Jeremy who appeared in the first two books. You CAN read this without having read the first two, but why on earth would you want to do that?! They're amazing, and so is this one. If you liked Danny in Someday, you'll love Jeremy in Falling. Also, he's a bit of a nerd who loves reading MM Romances, sooo yeah, you'll probably be able to relate a little too, haha. Jeremy is optimistic, adorable and has quite the sweet tooth.
I generally don't summarize books in my reviews since many people do that and I don't particularly enjoy reading those types of reviews... I read the blurbs and I don't really want anything given away, so I won't mention really any plotlines, just my thoughts and feelings on the story and characters.
One thing I really enjoyed about Falling is that I REALLY liked Nick. As much as I LOVE Danny and enjoy Gavin, I was never really into their guys so much... and while Nick still isn't my "type", I really enjoyed his character. He's a lot of fun and there was pretty much nothing about him that I didn't enjoy.
There were also a couple tiny little twists in the story which totally got me and I enjoyed that.
Another thing I really like about this book is when we're in Jeremy's head... we're able to experience
his thoughts jumping from one thing to the next, his somewhat obsessive overthinking, and I had to chuckle ever time he started making lists, especially when they got ridiculously long! We really are able to feel his personality by getting into his head like that and I really love that.
This was a FANTASTIC addition to the "series" (they don't seem to be referring to it as a series, but they pretty much are).
I'm guessing that there will be an upcoming book about Jeremy's cousin Cash, which I'm sure will be great, though I don't know if it will be able to top Someday and Falling for me, because, as Candi put it, ADORBS! <3

**I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review.** But I'd have nabbed this baby on Kindle Unlimited the second it came out anyway. Yay for early presents (and references to the book, haha)!!

I know.... I have days where the daunting question of "am I going to meet my annual GR reading goals" weights heavy on my mind & I just have to read something, anything really. This was K.U. It was also the most predictable fairytale... I mean fake gay boyfriends? We knew where this was going? Hot ass trainer who was completely on board because his childhood bff was gay.... I can't hate on this though because I have read the blurb & the authors bio & this was 100% as advertised...

4.5 Pumpkin Stars!! Another guilty pleasure of pure, sweet romance. I LOVED this book! It hit all my happy little buttons: GFY (check), fake boyfriend (check), slow build (check), hot sexy times (check), low angst (check), a great story (check) and lovable MC's (check). This was fun. It was romantic and a perfect light read.

A simple, light hearted romance. Sweet in the empty calorie sort of way. I didn't like Jeremy's character as much as the protagonists from Book 1 and 2, but I appreciated that he wasn't a repurposed clone of them either. Jeremy was his own man even if he made annoyingly long lists all the time.
Poor Cash always the bridesmaid never the bride. I hope his story is next.
