Not that I care what this bratty princess thinks. I've got other things on my mind, and I leave her without a second thought. But I get one hell of a nasty shock when I get back to the Cruel Angels HQ and Ryker tells me I've got a new job – protecting his niece from a crazy stalker.
And lo and behold, who is my boss's niece?
You guessed it – the prissy little movie star herself.
Now, I'm stuck tailing her around and trying to keep her out of harm's way.
But the more she sasses back at me…
The more she tries to tease me, tempt me, screw with me…
The more I want to do one thing and one thing

Goodness! Yep! I am adding a new shelf. Good Hero/Disliked the heroine. Seems it is all I have picked up this week.
Let's start with our heroine, Raina Taylor 24, world famous actress. She lost her parents when she was young and has been raised by uncle Ryker, who is the president of the Angels of Chaos MC. At the time her uncle took her in they lived poorly. She is now rich and works hard because she fears in having to go back to that way of living. She attends a party she really does not want to go to, but heads out early. As she leaves the party she is the victim of an attempted kidnapping. Her assailant gets her half way in the car, when out of nowhere comes a man that saves her. He beats up the guy who was trying to kidnap her and saves her from who knows what kind of horror. And......she falls at his feet in gratitude and appreciation; yeah right! She is furious with her savior because her attacker got away. Seriously! No thank you, no are you okay. Her only concern is the man got away. She makes the situation better by offering her savior money for his services. STILL no thank you btw.
Mr. savior is actually Spear Morrison, and he is right hand to Ryker. Ryker informs him that his "precious"niece (blah) had been attacked the night before and Spear has been assigned to be her bodyguard until they figure out what is happening. Spear doesn't really want this job, but Ryker and the Angels of Chaos are the only family he has. He sets off to the home of Ms. Gratitude and is met with this prissy, self absorbed, she devil, diva. She does not want him there. You know the guy that had saved her from being kidnapped, that by the way she has still to thank. She insults him and goes as far as calling her uncle to get someone else. Ugh!!
He is stuck with this self absorbed idiot and he is of course is totally attracted to her. He tries his best to keep her at the mansion for her protection, but NO she needs to go out and to make him mad or jealous, who knows; she puts herself in a situation that almost gets her raped. Of course Spears once again comes to her rescue. By this time I am over this chick, but I hate quitting on books, so I finished it.
They do end up getting together and Spear is conflicted because this is his bosses niece, but he really likes her so he gives in to what he is feeling. He also finds out someone is stalking her and sending her crazy letters for over a year that she did not tell her uncle about. So this is a romance with some suspense. Spear is a sexy guy who really has feelings for Raina and she did for him too. They are steamy sexy together. Uncle Ryker causes some drama between them and it leads to Raina finally facing her stalker.
This was a three star for me, mostly because of Spear. I may have warmed up to Raina towards the end, but not enough to raise my rating.

What a fascinating and interesting book this is and I thoroughly and absolutely enjoyed reading this book. The story covers Raina, a young actress who is attacked leaving an after party thrown by Taylor, she is saved by a unknown man who just happen to sarcastic to boot. Raina phones her uncle (leader of the Angels of Chaos MC club) for help and he recommends one of his MC riders to act as a bodyguard, the MC rider (Spear) arrives at Raina's house and to her shock, it just happens to be the sarcastic man that helped her. What you will find in this story is drama, suspense, intrigue, attempted abduction, rescued, offering to pay, riding off on bike, phoning uncle, told to accept a bodyguard, arrival of bodyguard, lust, dirty desires, don't want bodyguard, phoning uncle, tough luck bodyguard staying, argument, nightclub, drinking too much, attempted rape, saved, kissing, emotional feelings, message on mirror, terrified, stalker, warning form uncle, threatening letters and phone calls, friend badly beaten, hospital, intimate moments, visiting friend, kicked out of MC club, break-up, abduction, rescued, shot, hospital, coming out, uncle gives his blessings and there is erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well written and grabs the readers attention from the beginning and holds it till the end. The portrayal of the characters personalities are excellent. I would recommend this book to people who like to read a well written MC romance with a HEA.

This book has drama, suspense and hot steamy romance. I hooked from the beginning. Raina is famous actress. Spear is the dangerous bad boy that saves Raina from being attacked. Upon returning to Cruel Angels HQ his boss and President Ryker assigns him to protect his niece from stalker. His niece is none other than Raina. The attraction is strong and the chemistry is hot! You will love the characters. I really enjoyed this book. Received copy for honest review.

High Suspense
4 stars for the book that has packed action & suspense with moderate sex scenes that are more romantic then sizz!ing.
Spears, turned out to be a better man as the book wove on then he was presented in the beginning.
Spears is an awesome "book boyfriend"; Raina first comes across as a total diva bitch but eventually grows into a pretty brave young woman. It was an interesting read.

I really enjoyed this book! Spear is a great read if you're looking for a new fun Sons of Anarchy esque story mixed with a splash of Hollywood life. Once i started reading i could not put it down, i recommend Spear and Ada Stone if you're trolling for some new literature this summer!

Wicked good book, highly recommend it. Raina and Spear were intense, the stalker was equally intense! So relieved when spear and raina got together, then uncle had to go be an A must read and an author I will read more of.

Fun book to read. Have to love the happily ever after. Bonus book afterwards and that was good too. 5 stars for entertaining.
