Believe follows the story of Kate, who's marriage unexpectedly comes to an end when her abusive husband leaves her. Although, it's probably a good thing, it still knocks her to the ground.
Needing a fresh start, Kate asks for a transfer in her company and moves to the UK for a six month period. Hoping this will give her the time she needs to clear her head and mend her broken heart.
That's when she meets Luke.
Luke Bennett is a sexy, dirty, arrogant and extremely alluring police officer who is interested in getting to know Kate better. Kate's friends convince her to use this brilliant opportunity as a 'distraction' which will help her take her mind from her failed marriage and divorce proceedings.
But a one night stand quickly turns into something more as Kate finds herself falling for Luke...
Advanced readers have described Believe as an addicting read which will make your heart race and mouth water.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The beginning was slow for me but about half way through it picks up and then I wasn’t able to put it down. The dialogue is sweet and the readers get a real sense of the emotions and conflicts Luke and Kate have to endure. And as always, we have some seriously hot scenes as Luke shows her how wonderful loving sex can be. Of course the path to true love is never that easy, but thanks to the power of sexual healing she is brought back from her tortured past pretty fast. There are ups and downs throughout this book. The two face the challenges together only to make their relationship stronger! This novel is captivating. It’s a fast paced super sexy read with many likable characters. Believe is an enjoyable and fun read with a wonderful HEA.
Complimentary copy kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you.
Kate has been kicked to the curb. While her marriage may not have been great, aka quite horrible really, she was still devastated. Determined to make a change, she requests a work transfer to England. New surroundings, friends and a sexy one night stand are going to turn her life around.
Luke is a cop so he is naturally alpha, as well as sexy as sin. Maybe that comes with the uniform? What followed is a whirlwind of physical attraction and budding love. When Kate’s past comes back to destroy everything she and Luke have, things are going to get ugly….
I have conflicting thoughts about this story, a first for me by this author. On the one hand were interesting characters. Kate’s new besties, especially the bubbly Hannah, brought fun and lightheartedness to a plot dealing with serious issues of self-esteem and abuse. Luke’s character was sexy and solid, who said and did all the right things, while being scrumptious in a uniform at the same time. Kate needed, wanted, to move forward, and Luke’s appreciation of her was going a long way to build up her self-confidence and belief that she could be happy.
“Say it, Kate. Tell me you’re beautiful.”
From roller coaster rides to rock concerts, their courtship was flirty and hinted at the seriousness that could be. And that made it hard to understand why I struggled to really invest my heart in the story. I wanted to love the characters, get into their heads and their hearts to feel all the emotions they were going through. There were a lot of ups and downs, some happy and not so happy moments, and I wanted to feel them more than I did.
While some of the plot twists didn’t work for me—a blowup over lying seemed over the top given there was deception on both sides—overall the story worked. When the end came abruptly, with a note that it was to be continued, I was left with the unease of a story unfinished in a way that, honestly, confused me. ~ Diane, 3.5 stars
Believe is the kind of story that touches every emotion in you.
It's the story of Kate, who sadly is left by Dale, her no good husband, after he emotionally beats her down.
In order to regain her self respect, Kate takes a transfer to London, setting herself on a path of personal recovery. She's sworn off men after Dale's departure, but is thrust back into the dating game when her friends push her to go out with the very sexy and oh so hot Cop, Luke Bennett.
Zoe Danielle handles dome tricky subject matter, namely domestic abuse, with great compassion and sensitivity and leaves the reader with a sense of triumph for the heroines plight.
I thoroughly enjoyed BELIEVE and would recommend it for any romance reader who likes a little sexy spice in their romance stories.
A new start in a new place. Ah, how I WISH I could do the same.
In this novel, I could sympathize with Kate and felt her heartbreak, anguish, and lost of self. While, as a reader, I was glad that her marriage ended, it was also incredibly sad to see her go through that. But, where one one start ends one begins right?
I've always had a fascination with the UK? Why? I dunno. Needing for a fresh start, Kate gets transferred to the UK and from there we see her grow, develop, and come into her own. She rebuilds those bridges that her ex husband had burned and we see her eventually fall in love and form a new path in her life.
Wow, I absolutely loved Kate and Luke's story. This is one hot, hot, hot story. Loved the all the drama. Kate is one tuff cookie. Luke is a very smooth and sexy police officer. I hope Hannah get her own book. This book kept me turning the pages. Can't wait for there next book. I hope we don't have to wait long.
MEN ARE NOT WORTH LOSING YOUR SELF ESTEEM OVER!!!!!
I've said it before and I'll keep saying it. I know this is a work of fiction but I just hope that women who read this will know that they are the prize and any man would be lucky to have you!!!!!
Ok so, we have Kate - a married woman who has a shit head for a husband. Who decides one day he's gonna leave her.
She decides she needs a change and moves to the UK where her job is HQ'd.
Enter Luke, a sexy British cop who knows how to treat a woman. I loved them together and I loved what he did for her confidence. But, one thing I hate about Kate (two things actually) first, is her comparing everything about Luke to Douchebag Dale. Granted, she in the middle of a break up but lord almighty! Luke is the best thing that's happened to her and she's hung up on the douche. But thankfully that doesn't last long.
What I really HATED about Luke and Kate was the double standard. I won't mention because it's a spoiler. I literally yelled out, "What?! NO!" Because that's not right. And the reason for the 4 stars.
DESPITE all that.... I loved this book. Loved the premise. Loved how Kate gained her strength when it came to DBD. Loved how sexy Luke was.
Having read previous books from this author I couldn't wait to start believe and I was definitely not disappointed the story was so easy to get into. Having just recently split from her husband Kate heads to England to find herself and rebuild the confidence that she has lost from being married to a man who does nothing but put her down. Kate meets Luke who is a policeman and gets the love and respect that she deserves. The characters in this book came alive as soon as I started reading I loved Luke straight away he is not only hot and sexy but caring and thoughtful too just the type of man that all woman hope to find in life. I could not have read this book any quicker if I had tried I read it cover to cover as I just could not put it down. Looking forward to reading more from Zoe Danielle and I hope one day that Luke and Kate appear in another book as I would love to know what happens next with them.
Believe by Zoe Danielle, is a story that leaves you an emotional mess. Kate is a women who is losing herself. Being married to a man she no longer loves, who criticizes everything she does!
Kate can't take this anymore, she is done letting her husband walk over her and decides enough is enough.
She want's a fresh start and moves to the U.K.
There she meets Luke, a sexy police officer.
The thing is, she swore off men, but Luke he is very persistant!
Believe is the first book I have read by Zoe Danielle, and I will read more from her. This book was fun, sexy, and taking a fresh start at life.
But Kate's transfer lasts only six months.... Can their new relationship last?
This is the first story I read from this author. The story has laughs, steam, pain, abuse, and heartbreak.
I am on the fence about this book. I just could not connect with Kate. Not sure what it was about her but she just confused me at points and made me crazy at other points. Now Luke really carried this book. I loved him. Where Kate made the book drag at points Luke found a way to draw you in and dirty talk you into staying around for the story. This is no way means I will not read this author again. Sometimes you just can’t force a connection to a character.
I recommend this book if you like a dirty talking alpha.
I loved this fast paced, compassionate, romantic read about new beginnings. The premise behind this story is painful, but the meaning behind it should be an inspiration to women. Lust, love and trust take on a whole for recently separated Kate. Despite the fact that her husband was abusive and then left her, she didn't stop second guessing herself in every way. To make a fresh start, she relocates to England where he meets a hot sexy cop named Luke. Luke is sexy, and good, and won't give up on her...but Kate didn't get it!
I decided to read this book after seeing it posted on a number of blogs and authors pages.
I so loved this book.
Kate decides to leave her abusive husband and start afresh in the UK. On a night out she meets the handsome Luke and after some encouragement from her friends she realises a one night stand is in order.
Buy can it only be for the one night?
What happens when secrets are kept from one another?
Will the past eventually catch up and cause more trouble?
I loved this book! What more could you ask for, a hot policeman, a gorgeous woman and an amazing storyline.
Kate is a beautiful woman with a fantastic job, unfortunately she hasn't been the luckiest with men. That's all about to change when her world gets turned upside down and she meets the hot policeman that is Luke Bennett. It's not plain sailing for them both but this story will have you hooked and wanting more. Get ready to swoon ladies Luke Bennett is coming for you.

I took my time reading this book , mainly because I was on holiday, but I'm glad I did . I think it's one of Zoe's better stories. Full of steamy passage for those who like a bit of erotica, a good story line which moves at a good pace. Two really believable main characters and a surprising little twist in the tail. Altogether a classy tale which is well worth enjoying like I enjoyed .
Firstly I loved this book! Believe is the story of Kate and Luke.Kate has moved to the UK on a work transfer for 6 months after her marriage to abusive husband Dale ended shes desperate to leave her old life fully of misery behind and start over. Luke is a police officer hes drop dead sexy, alpha and protective but Kates sworn off men, Lukes persistent and Kate finds she cant resist the sexy cop any longer and they begin a passionate relationship,Kate feeling at last shes with someone who loves her…for her, doesn’t want to change her just wants to be with her.Their time together is hot and sexy and both realise they are falling fast. But with secrets being kept will and Kate rapidly running out of time before her secret is revealed will the past throw a spanner in their intense relationship and ruin it all? How will Luke react when he finds out the truth and what happens when Kates 6 month work period is over? Luke and Kate are both facing danger will they both come out the other end and finally realise that they were meant to be?All the questions and more will be answered if you read this book its sexy, fast paced exciting and did I say sexy? Luke is one dirty talker, sexy and strong every woman needs a man like Luke.I fell for Luke straight away and you will too!! This is my favourite read from Zoe so far I look forward to her next book and hope sometime in the future we might catch up with Luke and Kate….
Received a copy. Zoe Danielle brought an emotional read with Believe. It has everything. Believe gives the story of being broken and a chance to heal to become whole again. Luke and Kate are great characters. They have some roadblocks to break through when the past comes to the present. This is a great read. The past is what makes us who we are in the present and helps us Believe in the future.
The blurb for Believe by Zoe Danielle is what caught my attention. A sexy British cop and a woman on the rebound? Sign me up!
The steam factor is high but I am on the border between 3 & 4 stars. I had issues with Kate...like wanting to shake my head at her one minute and the brush her off the next. The lack of connection with the leading lady is intruiging to me because the supporting characters all seem to love her. Trying to follow her personality was difficult at times but Luke....ahhh Luke. He is the reason I liked this book as much as I did. Obviously he is what the reader's mind interprets from the book and damn is that man hot. His confidence, the way he carries himself and his dirty, dirty mouth. Yes please.
The blurb doesn't allude to a series or a second novel but I was definitely left feeling like the story wasn't complete. I will keep an eye out to see if anything else pops up.
~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~
OMG This is the very first book that I have read by Zoe, and I can tell you is that this isn't going to be the last. This book is hands down one great book. The only complaint that I have is I wasn't sure if Kate was from america or originally from the UK by the way some of the words were spelled. I know that America has words that are missing letters that those in the UK use all the time. Other than those. The characters meshed well with one another. The chemistry is off the charts and the drama that unfolds is hands down some damn good drama. The writing is beautiful and Zoe really knows how to capture an audience with her work. You will not be disappointed at all with this book!!
Kate and Luke story is a beautiful one. They characters were relatable and the story was real and I thought I don't related with what Kate had to overcome to find her HEA I think others would. . I like when the story have a message and this one truly does: believe and love yourself, you are worth it.
Fasten your seatbelts and follow the law because the sexy Luke is here to steal your hearts in his story, Believe. Zoe Danielle gave me a sweet, steamy, naughty, and intriguing romance with a twist or two along the way to keep me turning the pages.
This is the beginning (definitely not the end) of Kate and Luke's story. Kate's in need of change. Her cheating husband has left her and her self esteem is at an all time low. So she heads to London to figure out herself and the new direction of her life.
But life decides to throw a curveball and what she doesn't expect is the sexy cop with a panty melting voice or drop dead gorgeous body. He is going to make her feel again and help her find herself but Kate has secrets she is keeping from Luke.
Told in dual pov with more Kate than Luke, readers follow these two lovers as they navigate lust, new love, complications, ups, downs, and secrets. This book was a fast read that has a soft landing with what is sure to be more to come in future books.
While I gave this book only 3.5 stars, I definitely plan to continue the series. My main issue was connecting with Kate from beginning to 3/4 of the way to the end. It was only then she started to break out of her bubble. I'm hoping for big things in the next.
