Jeanne Hardt has always been involved in the creative arts in one form or fashion.
In November of 2010, a dream inspired her to write her first novel. Having moved from the Northwest to the South in the mid-nineties, she was drawn to Southern history.
Though she moved to Tennessee to pursue a career in music and acting, once she set her hands on the computer keyboard, she discovered her true passion and hasn’t stopped writing since.
Her stories are far from typical romances, though she promises a happy ending. She’s recently branched out into other genres, including young adult and contemporary women’s fiction. However, her true writing passion will always remain with historical fiction.
She currently lives in Tennessee with her husband, their little dog, Jax, and a multitude of dreams.
I just finished reading, REVELATIONS Book 5 in the, Southern Saga Series by Jeanne Hardt. The characters have become a part of my life. I NEED to know what happens to them and how their lives turn out. I LOVE Ms. Hardt talent for creating an interesting story. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star rating is: I, personally don't care for the way certain characters southern drawl is written out. It's unnecessary and in some cases incorrectly written. Also one stupid peeve of mine, the repetitive sentence, "he wiggled his eyebrows". It's used too often but that's just me. Other than that I ama huge fan of Jeanne Hardt 's writings and have read almost all of her books to date.
This story is a lot like the first book, where people are attracted but won't admit their love for each other. Abigail reminds me of Victoria. Basically history repeating itself.
