When Team Voltron takes on a dangerous training mission in deep space, Coran, Princess Allura's majordomo, is captured by an ancient enemy. It will take teamwork, smarts, and, of course, Voltron, to save their friend's life.
I am obsessed with Voltron Legendary Defender at the moment so as soon as I found out there was a comic version as well I! had to! read it. Needless to say that I loved it. The comic art is so beautiful, and somehow it surprised me for the best. I already love all the characters so this comic was nothing new, yet it felt new. I don't have much to say other than I loved the art and I love the characters and I can't help to love everything related. 10/10 would recommend.
Yup, I'm 100% pure Voltrash and proud of it, and this awesome comic definitely helped fill the Voltron-shaped void in my life. Can't wait for issue #2!
Huge fan of Voltron: Legendary Defender here! Part 1 of this comic had everything I love about this show. It was fun, it was funny, the team was wonderfully hilarious, Lance is a flirt, Pidge is adorable and smart, Keith is impulsive and Coran... Tsk, tsk... Oh, Coran. Of course you would owe money and not be able to pay due to compound interest.
Adventures of five brave heroes who drive mechanical lions the size of freight cars that combine to form one giant humanoid battle robot. As they do. Actually not bad, especially considering its pedigree as a comic book spinoff of a Netflix remake of a series of 20-minute toy commercials from the 1980s.
I'm on a Voltron-obsessed spree right now, after binge-watching all 5 seasons of the Netflix show in three days before season 6 comes out this Friday.
I loved the art of this comic, possibly because it resembles the original art style of the TV show. Nothing too special about this comic, but I love my hothead-emo-red-boy Keith.
