A Mature Couple
The synopses sounded really good. I loss intrest after the chapter 2. But I continue to believe that the book would get better. Next thing you know I was hooked after the fourth chapter. Toby should have believed in his wife. And after everything they had been thru before they got married I was surprised he would think that she would cheat on him. Louise surprise me by being involved with hurting Carl. Over all this was a great book. Ms Davis please continue to write more wonderful books.

This story went so much deeper than the sweet love story I was expecting. I felt myself getting upset at the racism issues in this book and felt like going off on Toby's brother, Mike. I really felt for Simone and wanted her to let her rage go everytime she decided to back down and be polite when dealing with Mike.

A lovely story
A really lovely story and snippet into the lives of Toby, Simone and their beautiful family. The book deals with the issues facing an interracial family from outsiders as well as family members, which was very realistic and emotional. A lovely story to read.

The Anniversary. I enjoyed this book! It was exciting and full of surprises. I liked that this story is about a couple married for a while with children and trying to express their love that they still have for each other. Simone wants to do something special for Toby because he gave up a lot to be with her. Toby let's his guard down and believes Simone is cheating and that causes a lot of unnecessary pain and jealousy. Their children help them to remember why they are together. A must read.

Romantic and suspense
Very well written and I enjoyed it very much. Simone and Toby had been through a lot of adversity because of the color of their skins. The bigotry Toby family had to endure from his own family was sad. But their love overcame it all. I would definitely recommend this book. Sexyladi

Simply amazing
This book brought tears to my eyes. Reading about the struggles facing an interracial couple and their biracial children hit close to home. It made me think about !my child and how I would feel in the same situation.

Pretty good
Pretty good story. I could clearly visualize every paragraph. The characters all felt believable. I certainly did not predict specifics in the situation with Carl and Jason.

This is what I like drama a few laughs a few tears. Did not matter there was no erotica. Good subject matter, good plot. I'll read this author again.
