#1 up-and-coming Author in Fantasy Romance!

Ruth Anne Scott was born and raised in the Shire of Middle America (otherwise known as Telluride, CO) and spend her childhood hiking, sightseeing, and exploring the wilderness around. As a young dreamer and creator her favorite pastime was and still is to sit on the moss covered banks of San Miguel river to write and create her fantasy worlds.

As a postgraduate she spent much of her adult life working at Amnesty International, doing research into women's rights abuses around the world. Ruth continued to write fantasy as a means to escape the harsh realities of the world around her.

This is the reason Ruth likes to incorporate strong and savvy women in her fantasy works.

The boring part: Now a full time author and artist, Ruth can usually be found hunched over a keyboard or tablet, frantically trying to get the images and words in her head out and onto the screen before they drive her mad. She's addicted to coffee and can be found at the local coffee shops. :)

Ugh I really tried......

Really tried to like series but main characters were annoying. Plot repetitive. Finished 17% of the series that is all I could take. Boring.

Angondra--a beautiful mecca or an unwitting prison. Earth females are kidnapped by alien slavers to be taken to a far away galaxy where a virus has killed almost all the females. The planets in this galaxy are looking for mates therefore enter the slave selling aliens. These books give you the stories about the women who find themselves in an alien environment and are still able to find love.
A great read

Overall, I really enjoyed these stories. I really liked the world, with its factions and prejudice, and the descriptions of it all. I thought the sex was flowery prose and over-romantic (but that could just be me). I especially enjoyed the ending!

Tales from Angondra (Books 1-6) are the stories of several women abducted from Earth by the Romarie who find love and a future with the men of Angondra. I started the Angondra series backwards by reading the children's stories first (A New Angondra) and then caught up with their parents in this series. I'm so glad I did. Not only did it fill in some of the gaps but I enjoyed reading about their parents and the start of the peace process on Angondra between the factions.

While I enjoy a good paranormal story, I tend to stick with shifters and haven't really read ventured into the alien realm. I'm glad I took a chance however because I've loved reading about this strange new world these human women were tossed into. This story had an intriguing plot that kept me engaged right from the start.
