Jane is on a mission of self-discovery. Having lost the love of her life in a horrific motorcycle accident on their wedding day, she’s been a shell of the woman she once was. Learning to live without Blake is going to take more than just waking up each morning. So, she leaves for England to return to the place it all ended, in the hopes of figuring out how to negotiate life on her own. What she doesn’t expect, is to meet Harry Tindal, and for the hunky Brit to present her with a surprising proposition.

Harry never intended to approach the red-haired beauty when she stepped into the pub, but the music drew his feet her way and before he knew it, he’d struck up a conversation with the fascinating woman, only to discover they were on similar missions. Trying to escape his painful past, Harry decides to step out of his comfort zone and invite Jane to join him for a fortnight of no regrets.

“No sex. No histories. No awkward conversations. Just two people living life to the max for two weeks. Then we say adios, thanks for a good time, and go our separate ways.”

Jane can’t resist, and the couple embark on a journey of faith, that soon turns into something neither of them expected. As hearts unfurl, truths rise to the surface and the couple must decide if they’re able to risk love once more and hand their hearts to someone new.

4.5, Finding Love Again, Stars!!

“Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith, Harry. If she chooses not to jump with you then so be it, but you have to give her the chance.”

Geronimo is probably my favorite book by this author to date. It is the perfect second chance romance. This story is well written and heartbreaking. It will just pull at your heart and captivate you the entire time.

Geronimo follows the story of Jane and Harry. Jane is on a journey of self discovery after loosing the love of her life. She’s hoping to find herself and begin to live again, but what she never planned on was Harry. From the moment Harry sets his eyes on Jane, he is drawn to her. He makes it his mission to talk to her and get to know her. The more time that he spends with her, the more he realizes that they are both after the same thing. Before you know it, the two of them embark on a journey across Europe together. This journey is supposed to give them closure and make them live again. Harry and Jane never expected to fall in love…..Will Harry and Jane finally get their second chance at love or will their pasts forever haunt them and prevent them from moving on??

What can I say about Geronimo? Well, this story is just incredible. I fell in love with it and the characters from the very beginning. When I finished the first chapter, I just knew that this book was going to be something special and I was so right. When you meet Jane and Harry, it’s impossible to not fall in love with them. They are so easy to connect with and so easy to relate to. You can’t help but want to know more about them.

I couldn’t get enough of Harry and Jane’s story. Their story is about love, and loss. It is story about fear and moving on. It is story about accepting the past and grabbing onto your second chance with everything that you have.

Geronimo was a quick and easy read for me. I devoured it one sitting. It is filled with just the right amount of angst, drama, romance, heartbreak and steam. This story truly is an amazing second chance romance. It pulled at my heart and at the end, it left me with a big smile on my face!

The tears are real!

I do not know where to start saying how much I loved this book. Just great. The playlist was so well connected to everything that was happening to the characters ... Absolutely wonderful!

For a moment I thought Jane would not even accept Harry, despite all that natural chemistry that began in the bar. The trip they made together was the most spontaneously and entertaining of all the story. Even I fell in love with Harry Tindal!

Now come the spoilers: What are the odds that Tammy and Blake have died in the same accident? Melissa, that really made me scream so loud that even my mother barked at me. When you thought all was well in their lives ... Bang! That happens. And Brandy, I took so much love to that girl. I think I even wanted Jane and Harry to adopt her.

Another fangirl moment for me was the fact that Chile is mentioned in the book, because it is where I live, and that one of the songs of the playlist, Somebody To You by The Vamps, which is one of my favorite bands, is also mentioned.

I truly loved this book. Just today I received the ARC and I read it in one sitting. I could not stop! It is 100% recommended and prepare your tissues because they will be really needed.

This is one of my favourite stories from this author, it gave me so many feels. Several times I stopped blurry eyed and had to breathe before diving back in. I didn't know many of the song references but it made no difference, I was too absorbed in their journey to look them up.
Jane and Harry were destined to meet, both had barely survived tragic losses and were existing day to day in their grief. The story line was beautiful, sad, funny and moving. I was waiting for confirmation of what I had suspected and knew then that it was their destiny. The author didn't make their journey easy and I was please to see how it all panned out in the end.
The characters and others in the story were all real and I enjoyed every moment of this story. I look forward to the next story after the hint of it at the end.

This book is utterly magnificent in a purely romantic and magical way. If I played favorites, this book would be it. Who am I kidding? While I loved the others, this one touched me in a way the others hadn't. It was a poetic masterpiece. Emotions flooded every chapter, both ones of sadness and ones of joy. The message seems simple, learn to live and love again after tragedy, it's anything but. Life and love are messy and confusing, making it hard to navigate. So many feelings mix and war against each other making you question your life and goals, and Miss Pearl captures it beautifully within this book. Her eloquent way of weaving words into emotions leaves you reeling in such an exquisite way.

A beautiful and emotional read by Melissa Pearl.

Jane's life seem to stop on her Wedding Day when she learned her soul mate and finance Blake is killed on the way to the church. After going through the motions for a year Jane decides its time to move on and what better way than on a trip to Europe and crossing things of her life list. Her path crosses that for hot hunky Brit Harry who is instantly drawn to the beautiful red head and offers to join her on her trip with no sex or strings or pasts attached. On the way it turn out to be easier said than down when the pair end up falling for each other.
Will living on two different continents be the only hurdle this couple faces or will both their past stop them from having a second Chance at love.

I really liked the character of Jane. The book starts of really emotional and I was almost crying with what was happening. Thankfully, Jane is strong and goes out on a journey of self-discovery. What she was dealing with was really hard and I can completely understand her reactions to things or her thoughts. It’s hard letting someone go so unexpectedly and trying to move on. And, Jane had the worst possible case of this. It wasn’t like Blake had moved on and she had to deal with it, it was a case of whether on not she could let herself move on from him. I think that was a really hard decision for her and could completely understand her hesitancy.

“Something about her face seemed to radiate a heartbreaking loneliness.”

Harry was a really likeable character too. He was funny and kind. He really wanted to help Jane. I thought it was such a nice idea that he so eagerly jumped on board with helping her complete a list when he had no idea even why she had written it in the first place.

“Oh man, he was adorable.”

The book was easy to understand and follow. Both characters were trying to move on with their lives and sought solace in the other. They were both trying to move on from their pasts with the other person all the while the other person had no idea what they were moving on from.

The book was really cute and I loved the two characters together. They were a great ship. (#fangirlmode) Brandy was another cute little character and it was really nice seeing Jane and Harry interact with the girl. I really liked the fact that Harry could relate to her from when he was younger.

I think, the twist between the two near the end was predictable. Possibly because I read something similar in another book. (One I’m not going to name because if you’ve read that, I spoil the ending of this.) But I predicted the ending of that too. It’s still upsetting nonetheless.

While I really enjoyed this book, I still had a couple of problems with it.

The first one being: I would have liked to actually see the list Jane had. We were just kind of told that she crossed off things- some things we got to see but not all. It was kind of like we heard she had things on the list now crossed out but we didn’t know when they were crossed out or what they actually were.

Another problem I had was that while they were travelling to the different countries in Europe, we didn’t really get to see much of that. They spent two weeks travelling and I would have enjoyed seeing them in the different places and, like the point above, actually crossing off the things on Jane’s list.

Lastly, I felt, in terms of the plot, this book could have been aimed at teens/YA readers. The plot line was a little cliché- the whole road trip of self-discovery. It was cute but I could see it myself recommending it more for teens. I think, the only thing that really got it aiming higher was the fact that the characters were twenty five and they had sex. Sometimes, I think their dialogue was even a little teen-like.

“It’s not the apartment that’s magical, Harry. It’s you and me.”

Unlike the first book in the series -Fever- music didn’t really have that big of an influence. It was just something they both liked to listen to and bonded over one song, hence the title, and a similar music interest.

Fever will continue to be my favourite for the time being but I really do enjoy the books in this series and want to continue reading more of them. Geronimo just wasn’t that addicting for me as was Fever.

Discovering To Live And Love Again . . .

This is the perfect Summer romance and a book I'll definitely reread again and again. The story of two souls finding love again after such heartbreaking loss is inspiring and beautiful. The adventures the couple take across Europe only makes me want to start scratching things off my bucket list sooner rather than later. From the beginning to the end this new songbird novel is a great addition to the series and maybe my new favorite thus far with its beautiful new characters, songs, scenery. Their story will leave you with all the feels.

After the worst day of her life happening on the day that should have been the best day of her life, Jane Buford, has been stuck in a lifeless state. Jane returns to Rye, England, where her life should have started by marrying Blake instead of having to bury him. It's in Rye that Jane decides to restart her life by beginning to check off activities on her Life List. While mulling over how and where to begin she is approached by a guy in a pub whom she instantly clicks with despite him being a complete stranger. Harry Tindal can't help but stare at the new woman in his little town, finally approaching her he finds that they have more in common than meets the eye. Together Harry and Jane decide to take a trip, two weeks around Europe doing the things on Jane's Life List, to help heal each other and rediscover life. What neither expected was they may discover love on the trip as well. Only thing that may destroy what they obviously have is their pasts, by not talking about what brought them together it may actually tear them apart.

Overall, amazing novel, my heart is so full after reading this book. I loved everything about it from the characters to the locations traversed to the perfect playlist, it was all so great! Jane was so broken and I couldn't imagine ever enduring what she went through. But finding Harry and learning to live again and then finding love once more, ugh my heart, I cried happy tears for her, for them. But when they have probs with heartbreaking revelations oh I cried ugly tears then. Seriously I can never read these books in public without getting emotionally and I have no regrets. Anyways, best part of this book is Harry, I absolutely fell for the man! Harry helps Jane into a new life and opens her heart through adventure. He's definitely top book boyfriend material, because a man up for adventure is sexy. So if you're looking for a wonderful summer read that brings two broken souls together who find healing through laughs and love, this is the perfect novel, now excuse me while I work my life list.

4.5 stars -- I received a free copy from the author in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.

Wow! I've been enjoying these later Songbird novels, but haven't been blown away like I was with Fever (though again, I still haven't read books 2-4 yet, need to get on that). But Geronimo brought back all the magic for me. And a good deal of that magic was Harry. Harry was just everything I love in a book boy. Like Jane, I just could not help but fall in love with him right from the first moment (and it doesn't hurt that the Ms. Pearl has said that Sam Claflin is her inspiration for Harry, so I kept picturing him in the role). He was adorable, funny, sweet, caring, kind of dorky, just...I don't think I'm doing him justice, but he was perfection.

And it wasn't just a Harry show, Jane was pretty endearing herself. And having read Rough Waters, I knew her backstory in detail, but I don't think you'd be lost if you dove right into this one without reading the previous book. You really get that sense of grief and fear from her. I can tell you I was crying right in that first chapter, Ms. Pearl really knows how to aim for the heart at the beginning. But I didn't cry nearly as much as I'd expected to in this novel, b/c there are lot of light moments and love moments in this book.

I'd expected a lot of this novel to be about the trip and the pact, but that was really just the first section. So you get to see the relationship between Harry and Jane develop. I really loved that. A lot more happens in their story. I will say I was kind of sad that I actually saw the twist coming from quite early in the book, not sure if that was the intention...it just kind of reduced the emotional impact of that part for me (though that could also do with everything else that broke up my reading of this book too). It's why not full 5 stars from me on this one.

I really felt the music in this one a lot more than in the previous few books...and it wasn't as though it was the choice of songs, b/c I actually didn't know quite a few of them (and will have to look them up), but I felt like they just really fit into the story and where they were placed. They were impactful.

There was also a great side story with a student of Jane's that I felt really put Harry's family history into perspective. I loved the way that story played out. And can I just say that I'm excited for the next story? Troy is Jimmy's brother right?? I like him...

So yeah, this one was a hit for me. I can see coming back to it when I just want a sweet love story that has some trials but also a lot of great love moments. Plus, Harry...;)

Oh wow! One of my top books in the series if not my favourite. Melissa once again brings out another winner.

We met Jane in Rough Water as the poor heartbroken bride-to-be and Sarah's best friend. Jane wants to move on with life and sets off on a journey of self-discovery.

She begins where her 'life' truly ended, and from there she plans to find what is missing. She stops at The Whistle Inn and whilst going through her 'Jane's Life List', Harry is drawn to her table.

Finding that he too should be on the road to healing, he suggest they embark on the adventure together.

“No sex. No histories. No awkward conversations. Just two people living life to the max for two weeks.”

They travel through Europe and see some amazing sites. Together they tick off a bunch of exciting things on the list, as well as add some more.

But when their time is up, they must both go back to reality and face the loneliness again.

Unless they decide they want more... Does Harry finally feel ready for something serious and can Jane move on from Blake?

Oh this story is perfection!

It was so fun to read and once again, so different from the previous ones.

I loved reading about their adventures along their journey, and not only for their two weeks through Europe, but their entire story.

Jane comes out of her shell and realises that life again can be worth living. Watching, well actually reading, her grow was so wonderful. She is such a strong character.

And Harry... 1 word. British!

I had a giggle whilst he was trying hard NOT to be a gentleman. He was such a fun male lead (and has a sister with a great name!) and I enjoyed how he brought out so much in Jane.

Their journey, through joy and heartbreak, was a pleasure to read.

I can't wait to read more, the next book sounds interesting.

Add this series to your TBR!

This was yet another w o n d e r f u l read. I loved everything about „Geronimo, from the characters, the storyline to the message ♡ Harry and Jane's story is something special – finding love after loss and letting yourself love again – you can feel their hurt, love and healing while reading.
That's why I love Melissa Pearl and with every book she writes, I have another added to my fav books.
„Geronimo“ is a beautiful story about loss and love and second chances and Harry and Jane are so adorable and sexy together. They both have broken hearts and you can't help but root for them.
I fall in love with this series more and more with every book and I'm so happy there is still more to come. Every book is different and touches me in another way but every book makes me smile and cry and just feel ♡

I loved especially that Jane was determined to be happy again even before she met Harry.

I could keep going. I would find my way. Happiness didn't need to be out of my grasp anymore.

She didn't plan on finding love again and you can feel her struggle.

„He'll always own a piece of my soul, and I don't know how to let you both in. I don't know how to do this.“

But Harry is just so wonderful and understanding – awww

„I had to come find you because I can't live with regret anymore (...)I know you don't know how to do this. I know you're scared, but please...let me stay.“

„I know I'll be sharing your heart, just like you're sharing mine...but I've got space for you.“
---> I loooove him for this ♡

I haven't read all of the Songbird books, but of those I've read, I've liked this one best. It's definitely sad, but also heartwarming. Jane doesn't believe she will ever love again. That Blake was her soul mate and that loving someone else would not only be impossible, but also a betrayal of those feelings. Meeting Harry and getting to know him has her questioning that belief, and it scares the crap out of her. Losing someone she swore she would love forever nearly destroyed her, so how and why would she risk that again?

Do I think there is one person out there for everyone? I'd like to, but I also like to think that if like Jane, you lose the love of your life, life would not be so cruel as to not balance the scales. Does this mean you loved your first love less? Not at all. I truly believe we are capable of loving more than one person, but you do have to take a chance. So yes, this was definitely a book that resonated with me. There were challenges and there were those moments when things just seemed so damned unfair, but maybe, there truly was a reason for all of the pain and loss. Ouch. Just saying that seems a betrayal to those you lost, not to mention completely unfair to them, but how many of us have not asked why when we lose someone prematurely?

I would definitely recommend this book, but if like me, you didn't read the whole series, you won't want to start with this one. At least read the one before it.

~~I received this in exchange for my honest review~~

Why oh why can't there be more than 5 stars. There many books that I review that are 5 stars, but there are a few books that I feel need to be more than five stars, and this is one of them. The emotion that Melissa puts into this book is amazing. She really wants you to feel what her characters are feeling.

Jane has to find out who she is after her fiancee's death. She decides on a whim to take a 2 week vacation to England to find out who she is, and what she is doing with her life from now on.

Harry sees Jane from across the bar, and proposes a strange request. Go on a 2 week road trip with him no-strings, nothing. Just have fun and let yourself go. The next two weeks are nothing but fun and smiles.

The thing with being happy is, it can always end, and not in a very happy way. Can they build what they have back up or is their friendship/relationship doomed?

Melissa really knows when to pull on your heartstrings. She knows when to make you happy and when to make you cry your eyes out. If you have been reading the Songbird series, you NEED to read this book!!

A story about death and dealing with the journey of life after a heartbreak. It is also about finding and cherishing love that have stumbled upon them along the way.

Harry and Jane are definitely meant to be. Even if it is a coincidence, the odds of it happening is just too much to bear with!

I love how spontaneous Harry is and how he would just drop everything to be with the woman he loves. And Jane, her fiancé's death has definitely taken a toll on her to live again. But I am happy and proud that she decided to embrace life instead of mopping around and being depressed all the time. Alas, life is all about second chances and grabbing opportunities that you might never know when it might appear again in your life.

I really enjoyed their impromptu trip across Europe and crossing off one by one, the adventures in Jane's bucket list. It was just them - in the moment - without a care in the world even their expenditures that they're just showering away.

I love this story, even though it is more depressing to read than the rest of the Songbird Novels, I still adore it!

In the previous Songbird novel, we got a glimpse in Jane's life. It was absolutely heartbreaking because she lost the one she loved. It was treacherous of Melissa Pearl to yank away such a young couple apart. But this Songbird novel, you will need to forgive the aforementioned author.

Both Jane and Harry are absolutely broken but you love how well their broken pieces come together to make the one perfect couple. They planned to be separate after the trip -- No sex, awkward histories, conversations, and killing your bucket list.

The Songbird novels, I am sure of this, will be the death of me because Pearl knows how to pull on the heart strings and make you feels even though you shouldn't.

So a good 4 out of 5 stars for Jane and Harry and their impeccable love story.

Geronimo is where you'll find your second chance at true love!

After the handsome Harry makes a proposal to Jane to spend the next two weeks together with no expectations, they find it to turn into more when it's time for Jane to leave England.

Jane was wanting to find herself again after losing the true love on her wedding day. Harry is dealing with his own loss.

Neither of them expected to find love , read Geronimo and see if these two are it for eachother.

This was a serious tear jerker, heart string puller of a book and I love every second of 8t.

8.) Geronimo (Jane and Harry):
In this novel two tragedies is going to unite two beautiful souls!!!
"You have to jump in order to fall." - Cover

"So I, uh...I met someone. Finally. Bet you thought I never would. I don't know what it is about her, she's just...we laughed a lot. I tried to be exactly what she needed and ended up falling for her. Crazy, isn't it? I didn't think I could ever love anyone again after you, but my heart's telling me something different. I don't even know what to do with it, really. I mean, I tried to tell her that I thought I was in love with her, but she didn't hear me. Probably for the best, right? I shouldn't be sprouting love if I can't follow through with it."

"I am not going to lose Jane. I know who I am. I know what I want. You can't count on getting a tomorrow, so I have to make the most of today. I love Jane. She's meant to be mine. Look at all the circumstances surrounding it. You can't deny that fate has brought us together. I have to convince her that's true."
"You might get fifty years of tomorrows, Harry. Life isn't always a trip through Europe and romantic dinners by the beach. Sometimes it's bills and homework...the boring stuff. Do you think you love her through that too?"
"Being with her, no matter what we're doing, makes me happy. It's as easy as breathing."
"I know that feeling. I wish I'd realized how precious it was when I had it. I wish I'd figured out that love-slow and comfortable is the best kind there is. If you think you can love Jane for a lifetime, then I'll support you."
"We can't guarantee life, Dad. But I can tell you that I will love Jane every day I'm given, and I'll love her with everything I have."

"I know you're scared, and I am too. I know our histories are connected in this horrible way, and I wish you'd never had to face that, Jane. But the truth is, it's in the past. We were wrong to hide it from each other, but maybe it was fate. If you known the truth we never would have had the chance to fall in love, but now I want to tell you everything. I want to know you, Jane, and I want you to know me. I want to build a life with you. Nothing we can do or say can change what happened. The only thing we can control is what we do with the here and now. I wish I could stand here and promise you that everything's going to work out. But I can't. Because I don't know what the future's going to dish up. I don't know if we'll have a day, a week, a decade, a lifetime together. It's what I want but I can't promise it. Look, all I can promise is to love you every moment that I'm given. And right now, I want to marry you. And tomorrow, if we're lucky enough to wake up beside each other, I will cherish you then too...and the next day and the day after that. I will love you and care for you as long as life gives me. I can say that will absolute conviction because you breathed life back into me and I can't live without you now. I love you so much."
Tears were making it impossible to see. I slashed them off my cheeks and sniffed. Harry was still blurry, but I managed to see him grab the box off the bed and walk toward me. Dropping to one knee, he held up the ring.
"I know it's terrifying. Love is dangerous and it can tear you in half, but I think us together is worth that risk. So to hell with it, Janey. Let's jump into life together, eh? What do you say?"
"Geronimo."
"Geronimo?"
"Geronimo."
"Geronimo!"

"I love you, Mr. Tindal."
"And I love you, my sweet Jane."
She smiled and kissed me again while the celebrant announced us husband and wife and the guitarist kicked in with another redition of "Thinking It Out Loud." It was the perfect song for the moment, and although I still had no idea how long I'd get to love the beautiful woman, I was confident that I would love her with everything, any chance I got.
My wife.
My beautiful Jane.
A love I would never take for granted.

"Home.
I love that word.
Harry had made it real to me once more. When I woke each morning and found him lying beside me, I was filled with an overwhelming sense of comfort and gratitude. If tragedy had taught me anything, it was to cherish each moment I was given. And Harry had the ability to make each and every moment magical. As I fingered the rose petals on my lap, I glanced at my husband and smiled.
He winked at me and continued to drive us home. His wedding ring caught my eye, the simple gold band on his fourth finger making him mine. Giddy love bubbles rose within me, popping and bursting as I grinned out the window.
Yes, love was a risk.
But it was a beautiful one, and I'd be forever grateful I took a leap of faith and jumped back into it.
I was the happiest version of myself that I'd ever been, and although no one guarantee me a lifetime of it, I'd cherish each and every second I got."

Geronimo Review

Book Rating: 5 stars out 5.

Story Line: 5 stars out of 5. I really enjoyed this book. I loved Jane and her lover interest, Harry. This book made me smile, laugh, and tear up a little bit. I love when books are able to do that. Jane goes back to Rye where she was supposed to marry Blake. She finds a tree that Blake carved in and buries her ring. She feels that Blake is in her heart. She wants to try to get over him. She goes into a pub after that and meets Harry. They get to talking. She tells Harry that she wants to discover herself. They decide to take a trip together on the first day that they meet. He wants to help her as a friend. They both decide to not bring up their past.

Harry lives with his grandmother. He decides to take his grandmother's car for the vacation. She has a bambino. Jane's reaction was hilarious when she first sees the car. They start off in Paris, then they travel to Spain and Barcelona. They have an amazing time together. They also discover that they have a lot in common. Jane starts to feel an attraction she hasn't had in since Blake. She feels guilty for even having the feelings for Harry.

Eventually they have to part ways. They can't stop thinking about each other. Harry comes to the United States to see Jane. They make love for the first time. He starts living with her. Sarah and Justin don't know about it. They find out later. Sarah actually likes him.

Harry goes back to Rye for his grandmother's 90th birthday. While at the airport he asks Jane to marry him. She doesn't know what she wants to do at first. So she stays in the United States while he flies back to Rye. Jane makes her way to Rye to tell him her decision. She says yes to getting married.

This is the part of the book that started to destroy everything. This is the part of the book I started to get annoyed at. Harry and Jane find out that Blake and Tammy...the two loves from the past were in the accident that killed each other. Jane and Harry have a falling out. Grrr.

Sarah tells Jane that she needs to get away. She takes her on a trip to Antigua. Harry and Sarah set her up. Harry asks her to get married in Antigua. She says yes again. They get married. That was the cutest moment in the book. The ending made me so happy.

Characters: 5 stars out of 5.

Jane- I loved her for the most part. I only didn't like her when she was making dumb decisions. I know she was heartbroken and everything. Still, I don't like that she almost didn't end up with Harry. Accidents happen. They hurt, but sometimes they need someone else to help them move on. I'm glad that she was able to come to her senses.

Harry-I loved him so much. He had me laughing quite a bit in this book. I love when characters are able to do that. I love that he didn't give up on Jane. He loved her no matter what. I loved his strength in this book.

Favorite Quotes: "But I'm pretty sure I'm right when I say that the heart's an amazing thing. It's always bigger than we think it is, and has this magical ability to keep expanding. It all comes down to you and how big you you're willing to let it grow. If the Grinch can do it, I'm one hundred percent sure you can too."

"Life will only beat you down if you let it."

"Life is life, child. Sometimes it tries to kill you, and other times it offers you gifts you don't even understand."

"Love is dangerous and it can tear you in half, but I think us together is worth the risk."

"Yes, love was a risk."

Writing Style: 5 stars out of 5. This book had a lot of quotes in it that I enjoyed. Melissa Pearl really knows how to make you feel something.

A wonderful novel in the Songbirds series. Excellent writing and a poignant love story, as per usual from Melissa Pearl. Especially terrific is the great soundtrack and Spotify playlist you can listen to whilst reading - a great touch and so apt for this series of books. Whilst each stands alone, they are best read in order so that you can get the lovely story arc for all the characters (main characters in one book will be minor characters in the rest - everyone gets their own HEA in this series!)

Geronimo is Jane's story. We got a small insight when we had Sarah and Justin's story in Rough Waters, but this one goes into detail about how the tragic events of that day affected Jane's life. I loved how Jane and Harry got together, no angst, no drama, just two people out to enjoy as much as they could. Of course, knowing how the previous Songbird novels had gone, I was waiting for the other shoe to fall. And it did! Fate plays a bit part in this story, whether you believe in it or not, but pushing any doubts to one side, I loved how this story panned out.

With a smooth pace, well-written characters, and slow-building angst, this is a story with an abundance of emotion so be prepared! With no editing or grammatical errors to disrupt the reading flow, this is a book to lose yourself in. With a nice hook into the next book, the Songbird series continues to delight, and Geronimo is most definitely recommended by me.

* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *

What a perfect summer read! Geronimo really had me smiling. It was so cute!
I loved reading about Jane's road trip. It had me wishing I was more adventurous because I would love to have even half of the experiences Jane had! Don't even get me started on Harry. He was pretty much perfect! Out of a dream perfect.
The playlist was also so good. I thought that the songs especially fit into the wrining.
There weren't really any twists or surprises but this was the perfect light hearted read to escape to for a few hours.

I received a free copy in exchange of an honest review.
Already knowing Jane's story and all she suffered from the loss of Blake, we are hoping that she can discover herself and move on with her life, and when she met the lovely Harry to accompany her on her journey, things get interesting.
The way they have to go to be able to surrender to love again is hard, but the end is well worth it.
It's a beautiful and exciting story and the characters are perfect.
I loved it!

This is book eight of the Songbird series. This is book is about pain and second chances. It is something I needed to read at this time. Not just because it was the next in the series. Have a little trouble with my own heart right now. Two souls who have known pain and they go on a journey to learn how to live again. It is a journey across Europe. Couple with songs and understanding. It brings a lot of emotion to the surface that causes tears.

Absolutely loved it! I loved the daring moves each of the characters made, I enjoyed the suspense of not knowing what was going to happen, and I could very much picture myself along with these two as they traveled around Europe together. Their relationship was not what they expected or wanted, but as a reader, I'm so happy it did. such a sweet story with those great moments of tears from sadness and happiness. I can't imagine how these two felt after finding out the things they did, but it was strength and love that kept them together.
