I have been avoiding some things recently, and when I talked to a friend about it, he told me to do something. So, I downloaded Procrastination by William Harris. It is a self-help book that dives into the gory details about how to get out of your way. The book breaks down the issues into what William calls his ten secrets (positive habits). I got the most use out of number 5: Create a specific, time-bound to-do list. I also liked the subchapter: Find motivation within successful people. This concept was quite eye-opening. This book is terrific, and I got a lot out of it. I recommend it to anybody who constantly puts tasks off and desires to be a better, more productive person.
I have a few people in my life who struggle with procrastination, so I knew this book was just what I needed. This book is a guide for anyone struggling to break free from the cycle of delay. It has practical, straightforward advice and helps readers identify the root causes of procrastination. It also gives actionable strategies. I like how it has real-world examples and techniques, such as breaking large tasks into manageable pieces. This is a good book for anyone looking to increase their productivity.
Overcoming procrastination is one of the most difficult things on the path of self improvement. I enjoyed this book even more because it was short and to the point without feeling overwhelming. Great easy to apply tips and I’ll be looking forward to applying them daily.
This little book was jam packed with useful and practical tips to get the reader on the right track to meeting goals and/or deadlines. I read this in entirety in a couple of hours. The title says 10 tips but I’d say that within each tip are additional little nuggets of helpful advice to begin implementing right away.
The book is great! 10 simple evidence based steps to be more productive and stop procrastinating! I had not considered the importance of my persona audience! Great tip!
I know a lot about procrastination and found this book somewhat helpful but these ideas have been around for a while.Simple presentation,Ok ideas, very short.
This book offers good tips. Its short, concise, and to the point. It doesn't let procrastinators off the hook. Strong and effective medicine for those brave enough to read it.
I love the author's short book strategy. Providing recommendations in a brief format prevents giving procrastinators hours of reading distraction away from their ultimate tasks. The recommendations in this book are wonderful and the concept of a "Second Morning" makes so much sense! A lot of people don't bother you right after lunch, so there is grace and focus time at the 1 pm hour. Worth reading.
