Carter and Carmen got a second book and I loved it, they both went through so much and as always I enjoyed catching up with old characters from previous series'.

** Review provided by Gayle from Bloggers From Down Under **

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve been patiently waiting….no wait let me rephrase….I’ve been impatiently waiting for Strongest….Because lets face it Carter and Carmen are just simply amazing, and I have desperately wanted to know what happens next.

Well I finally got my what happens next and I have been completely blown away!

We are reunited once again with Carter and Carmen. After an extremely turbulent and heartbreaking start to their relationship, in Strongest we get to see more of their journey, and boy are you in for one hell of a roller coaster ride.
Again they are both tested emotionally and psychologically, but not for the reasons you may think.
Their relationship is pushed.
As individuals they are pushed.
As a couple, their boundaries are pushed to the very core.
But we know their survivors right?
Carter and Carmen can conquer anything as long as they have each other right?
Or can they?

Sorry guys…..That’s all I’m giving you, because you just have to read Strongest to find out.

Again KA Hobbs has produced an unbelievably heartbreaking, heartwarming, raw and confronting read that had me captivated from beginning to end.
Highly emotional, I often found myself either laughing my butt off or snot dribbling ugly crying. Yes guys it’s that’s right, the emotions that Strongest was able to pull from me was nothing short of brilliant.
I fell in love with both Carter and Carmen all over again.
Carter and his vulnerability and strength.
Carmen and her determination and fears.
And the gang….Josie, Jack, Doug, Sophia, Harry, Megs….They are all here once again!

Guys this is a MUST read.
It’s breathtakingly beautiful.
It’s everything and so much more.
You won’t be disappointed. Trust me.

A huge 5 star read.

Carmen and Carter met under the hardest of circumstances...facing an emotional journey at the start of their relationship truly did make their love for one another stronger.

Excerpt:
Living, really living is what I've been doing since you came into my life and I will not waste another second of it.

Following their journey and relationship as it grows and flourishes was simply breathtaking. A tear was never far from my eye the entire way.

Excerpt:
...it's been you since that first moment Carter, without me even realising it. I can't picture my life, my world without you in it, I won't. I know we'll be together, whether it's chaos or calm, whether I'm well or sick, because you loved me at my weakest, at my worst and now you love me at my strongest and my best. I'm alive because you love me, I'm happy because you love me and every smile is because you love me. It's that simple. Everything is you.

As the pair face the future together and see their friends starting families, they consider their options...but that doesn't come easily either.

Excerpt:
I don't know if we'll have children or if we won't or if we'll grow old and grey together, but whatever happens, I do know this..I'll be with you, it will always be us, together, always because I'm strong alone, but I'm strongest with you.

A truly heart bursting read hat left me feeling emotionally wrung out. From the excitement and love you share with the pair to their journey of children together was an emotional one to say the least. But so incredibly written and just plain beautiful.

I was given this book in turn for an honest review.

When life throws Carmen and Carter more curve balls are they strong enough to fight or will their dreams be out of reach?

I honestly didn't think it was possible to love Carmen and Carter any more than I already did or the extended family they have found themselves living amongst. However, in Strongest KA Hobbs had me living in their world falling more and more in love with each and every character. KA Hobbs has delivered another emotional, heartfelt, beautiful story that will stay with me forever.

Carmen and Carter proved that together you can be the strongest person/couple and fight anything that life throws at you. They also remind us that when we lose communication and don't tell the other how we are feeling we can find ourselves feeling lost and alone. It's good to be strong for our partner but sometimes we have to break down the walls and cry together in order to be strong together and get through life's challenges.

This concluding book to Carmen and Carter's story with have you crying with sadness, happiness and pure love for two people who have gone through so much. As if they hadn't faced enough heartache and pain when they first met, life was sure to remind them that their path ahead was going to be far from easy or emotionally pain free.

These two people deserved a life time of happiness and they deserved for their dreams to come true.

If you love emotionally filled romances you will love both the Connected and Kindred Series by KA Hobbs.

Strongest is the second and final book of Carter and Carmen’s story and I have no idea how this is possible but I loved it even more than I loved Strong and that is no easy feat! Sometimes you just find authors whose writing style you love to the point where you will blindly buy and read any book they publish... I have a handful that are like that for me and KA Hobbs is one of them.

Carter and Carmen stole my heart in Strong and they decided to keep it hostage long after I finished Strongest, there is just something so real about their story that even when it was breaking my heart it felt like I was reading the best kind of love story ever, life is full of ups and downs and Carter and Carmen’s life is no different. I don’t know how it happened but Carter is even hotter than before, well... I do know how but I can’t say so you’re going to have to read it to find out how! Carmen changes too, her outlook on life is different and she seems to be an awesome hybrid between the bubbly girl she was in Australia and who she was when she returned to England. As you can expect you get to see a lot of the regular gang, mainly Harry, Megs, Jack and Josie but the whole Connected gang make appearances at some point or another.

I really love these two and I know they’ll be firmly in my heart forever. Thank you KA Hobbs for giving the world this beautifully touching story. <3

I don't know how the author does it, but once again Carmen and Carter have my heart.

After showing their strength in Strong I was surprised and intrigued by this next story. You would think that they had been through enough after dealing with Carmen's cancer treatment. This story has highs and lows, and looks at a difficult situation. What happens when you marry the love of your life but can't have the family you desperately crave? It's a heartbreaking story.

I'm so happy that the whole gang are back together, this group kind of feel like they would fit in an episode of friends. They are so familiar to me and dealing with real life trials and tribulations. Never have I read a series of books that are so reflective of life and yet is a piece of fiction. High praise to the author on another outstanding book.

Strongest carries on from where Strong left off and it will have you falling more in love with Carmen and Carter. Stronger tells the continuing story of their quest to find happiness, with the help of their Friends and Family we witness their struggles, heartache, joy and finally a family of their own that they have dreamt about. With appearances of all your favourite characters from the connected series we see everlasting friendships and true love. This book officially broke me. I cried from the get go and I was still crying at the end. The whole story from the beginning in Strong to the ending in Stronger was a beautiful and emotional story that will have leave you sobbing.
I was gifted this book for an honest review.

Breathless this is how I felt after reading the conclusion of Carter and Carmen's story. With so much love and care this book had it all whether you were related or just friends everybody was connected and became one huge family who help out when needed. Sure enough it was Carter who needed Carmen's strength in Strongest which they both worked together to get through hard times. Could not be more happy with the ending full of Love, Family, Friends and Devotion. Will miss these two character's but will never be forgotten.
