Art style was good (even though I couldn't see much difference between males and females) but the story was only half decent.

Another brilliant instalment in the Legion comic series for World of Warcraft. This had me on the edge of my seat, wide eyed, and scrolling quickly through the pages, devouring what was going on on my screen. I literally devoured this. 10 pages read as though they were only three or four.

The artwork is still wonderful, the story line is going strong and I'm so in love with this series!

Read this review and more on my blog, uncovered-books.

This third issue once again does not follow the plot of the first two issues. In this one, we follow some try of mountain animal (I believe that they are called Tauren) are arguing over some hammer.

The Burning Legion is advancing and these animals are gathering to figure out how to stop them. This issue seemed to be one long giant argument between these tribes. Not only was it one long argument, things only go from bad to worse and I do not know how things will improve.

Whilst the plot seemed more like setup for the game (which is not surprising), the artwork seemed very dark and boring. These animals did not seem to have any personality drawn into them, and I was just unable to visually connect the pictures to the story.

If you enjoy World Of Warcraft, you will probably enjoy this more than I am.

Begins in the territory of the Highmountain Tribe.

As The Burning Legion continues to advance upon them, the infighting is ongoing.

The other side advocates using the Hammer of Khaz’Goroth.

Neltharion and the spirits have a message.

Everyone contends for the Hammer.

Dargrul, the “underking,” attempts to take matters into his own hands.

Can they set aside their differences? And unite against multiple external threats? Work towards a common goal?

Does not feel creative enough. Warring factions. An existential threat…what differentiates this from other, similar works?

A pretty interesting story that focuses on the aftermath of a tragic event that causes a rift within the tribe. Internal conflict and struggle for leadership among the tauren is emphasized, with key characters grappling with issues of loyalty, honor, and the legacy of their ancestors. The narrative is rich in themes of unity and the importance of overcoming differences to confront common threats.
In general, something similar will be woven into the plot of the new expansion The War Within (https://cutt.ly/deWntpyU), only to a lesser extent, which does not diminish this plot line.

One of four short comics released as part of the pre-Legion hype. My least favorite of the four, it didn't interest me at all pre-expansion, and rereading it now, I can see the clues we were given, but I still don't have much interest in it. The art is just as nice as in the other three, and if you have a particular love for the Tauren and their lore, this will probably tickle your fancy.

Good book

I totally love the watercraft series. It is a good book for warcraft fans. If u did not read the first two books in the series you won't have the thrill to read this book. Enjoy!

Short and bland

World of Warcraft short story in the Tauren he me land - felt very bland and boring. Could pass if you're not a diehard fan.

Cool one

The story is getting more interesting. Betrayal is what makes heroes appear, again. They must take the decision to stand and fight.

Este es muy interesante. Me recuerda un poco a juego de tronos en el sentido de que, por encima de que hay una amenaza, hay algunos que prefieren o no tienen opción más que, pelearse entre sí.

I gotta admit that this comic book is a masterful addition to the world of world of warcraft comic book series. Because this comic book offers a rich tapestry of storytelling that combines intricate world-building, compelling characters, and a gripping plot.

This comic book is set in the majestic yet perilous region of Highmountain which I found to be very interesting and fun to read about. At the same time the story in this comic book explores the tensions and alliances among the diverse tribes inhabiting this rugged landscape.

The world in this comic book feels both expansive and intimate, drawing me into the heart of Highmountain’s cultural and geographical complexities.

In my opinion the strength of this comic book is in the character development which this comic book is incredible at. The protagonists in this comic book are vividly depicted, each with their own motivations and conflicts. The Tauren chieftain, Rivermane, stands out as a particularly memorable character, grappling with the challenges of leadership in a land fraught with danger and political intrigue. His journey is both personal and epic, reflecting broader themes of unity and division.

The creators of this comic book skillfully weave multiple storylines, allowing us as readers to experience the diverse perspectives of Highmountain’s inhabitants. This multifaceted approach enriches the narrative, providing depth and nuance to the characters’ struggles and triumphs. The interplay of personal ambitions and communal responsibilities is handled with finesse, making the stakes feel real and immediate.

The rugged beauty of the landscape is captured with an artist’s eye, making every scene feel immersive. The attention to detail in the depiction of the terrain, flora, and fauna enhances the realism of the setting, drawing readers deeper into the world.

The plot in this comic book is a masterclass in pacing and tension-building. The creators of this comic book maintain a delicate balance between action and introspection, ensuring that the story remains engaging from start to finish. The conflicts, both internal and external, are expertly crafted, driving the narrative forward with a sense of urgency and purpose.

This comic book has the themes unity, identity, and resilience are woven throughout the novel, adding layers of meaning to the adventure. The authors explore the idea of a divided community striving for cohesion, reflecting broader societal issues in a fantasy context. This thematic depth elevates the story, providing readers with much to ponder long after they turn the final page.

The world building in this comic book is another highlight. The lore and history of the region are intricately detailed, providing a solid foundation for the unfolding drama. The cultural richness of the tribes, with their unique traditions and beliefs, adds authenticity and depth to the narrative.

Obviously I didn't read this in German, but there is no entry for the English version and I'm too lazy to make one.

I play WoW, but don't normally read books about it. This I grabbed on my Kindle because it was cheap and I thought a graphic novel would be interesting to read. It was shorter than I expected, but I enjoy having the lore come to life in this way.

Good read!

Another short story to keep young people and some adults occupied. Nice to have a story that can be read in a few minutes sometimes.
