Tied to a Boss 2
It's the merger of all mergers. Miami drug traffickers Dante (Jack Boy) Blackwell and his lover and partner in crime Alinna (Dope Girl) Rodriguez. Have come to terms on an Unholy Union of sorts. Combining their respective drug organizations into one single cartel. But just as quickly as Miami starts to face its worst nightmare, Dante and Alinna's new business venture begins to unravel. The Miami Queenpin no longer trusts Dante after learning he impregnated and cheated on her with police detective Angela Perez. Thus Alinna begins to hate herself for falling for him in the first place. To salt away these emotions she banishes Dante from the group. Hoping him not being around will give her some much needed time to think. Meanwhile Dante pays a visit to Arizona. A trip that yields a HUGE offer that could elevate his status in the game to even greater heights. But also... leaves him with a major choice to make. Stay in Arizona and become the states most powerful drug trafficker, or return to Miami and repair his fractured relationship with Alinna. Dante's decision must come quickly however as old nemesis' and new headaches have arisen back in Magic City. It's up to Dante to convince the love of his life that they stand their greatest chance at survival together, not apart.

Absolutely Ridiculous!!!! Underdeveloped Story & Characters...Unrealistic Story Line....Where were the Editors? Did anyone conduct a grammar check? Plain Ridiculous!!

Disagree
I have to disagree with the reviews, everyone kept saying they thought alinna was selfish. I didn't think she was selfish at all, she reacted the way she should have. Daunte was cheating on her and he did it numerous times. Everyone kept acting like daunte was such a stand up guy but he wasn't. Yes he did a lot to help the family but alinna should have known about everything from day one. Her bestfriend was shady. Vanessa was far to close to daunte, he was not her real brother, her loyalty should have been to her friend. Whatever Vanessa knew she was supposed to make sure her girl knew. Taking alinna son over to Angela's without her knowledge was dead wrong. I guess I didn't see what everyone did. I was bored with the second read and wasn't a fan of anyone's. Vanessa was far to loyal to those dudes and all that hugging and kissing Vanessa and daunte was doing and the I love yous were way too much.

First, I’m pissed Wesleigh isn’t narrating anymore. She made the story. Not a huge fan of the new narrator but I’m trying as I see she finished the series. May have pushed this to a 4 star is W narrated.
Book 2 had a lot of twists and turns. Not sure how I feel about Natalie being introduced. What’s the point. They just making Dante a baby making machine. I’m still not in love with him. I don’t know why. His commitment issues maybe. I’m surprised Alinna is allowing this to happen. Action packed for sure. I was going to take a break but I think I’m invested now so will go to book 3.

A rollercoaster ride !!! I absolutely love it ! This book is my new favorite series ! There is twists and turns every step of the way and the writing style keeps me guessing !! This book follows Dante and his new career choice he has muscles and money ! Plus a new status. Alinna I like her but she needs to get it together ! Started reading book 3 today.

Pace
I just didn’t like that pace of the book. Beginning felt extremely rushed and hard to keep up with before it finally slowed down. Overall, plot was nice and ready to read the next.

This series is a whole mess!!! Dante, Alinna and the full Blackwell family have me hooked. There are a few grammatical errors but with Honey Jones narrating, it didn't detract from the story.

2.75⭐️🌶️🌶️ So this book was a little bit better than the first book, but once again it ends on a cliffhanger, and the cadence for the timing of events is very often like you don’t know if it’s been one day, three months, six months, or a year the way that the author writes, and that really bothers me, and I’m going to take a break because there are 5 books of this series, and it’s mostly just drama still, Bonnie and Clyde business, but lots of drama.

Something told me to stop at book 1 😒 I made it to chapter 6 before it just started pissing me off and not making any sense lmao! Between Alina and Dontay acting like teenagers and Vanessa switching up I couldn’t even handle it. They are acting like Dontay didn’t mess up his own relationship and blaming Alina is mind blowing to me.

This was an interesting follow up to the first book.The things these folks are willing to do for life surpass me,that's for sure. I like how the stories are interwoven with the crime and violence but you can still understand the emotion.Good read

I love this book. I'm just going to say that this review is a spoiler so if you haven't read the book yet don't read my review. First of all, I understand the first love thing but if I was Alinna I would have never pushed away Dante, yes he had another baby by another woman but she just didn't understand he was keeping them safe. Secondly, Dante should have never taken her back regadless of how she felt about him. She now wants to move in the 3rd baby momma when she could have done that with the first one. Dante is just trying to do his best to please everyone he cares about I wonder when is he gonna take the time out for himself.

This was an action packed book from start to finish. Dante was a real hustlers who moved in silence. They might not have seen him, but he was right there when they needed him. He also made sure his whole family was straight, and he made sacrifices to make sure they were.
Alinna eventually got it together with her stuck up self before it was too late. I bet she don't jump to anymore conclusions that concern Dante. I'm ready to see what the family has in the works for part 3.
