Divine Trouble

Rate this book
Divine Trouble is a journey that begins with fear and ends in the pursuit of trouble. The book breathes poetry inspired by nine universal emotions. It is a poetic tryst with much of what is often unacknowledged within the colossal depth of the human soul.

It is a lament, a love affair, a celebration and an ecstatic torment.

This book is great, I really enjoyed reading it. I'm glad there are new, young poets who reflect our period of time.
Her poems are simple, but beautifully written. Poems about things which worry all human beings - love, pain, freedom and heartbreak.

Divine Trouble is the kind of book that you will read in one of two ways:

1. You'll pause after each and every poem, the thoughts taking over your mind too much to live with while you do something else.
2. You'll plunge inexorably forward, unable to stop yourself until you have consumed every single word in the book.

Either way, it's a book that you'll come back to, over and over again. It'll cry out to you, appeal to your best and worst sides. It is a prayer, a torrent of abuse and the voice of a friend, all at the same time. It'll touch parts of you that perhaps you hadn't been in contact with for a long time.

No matter who you are, there is no one that this book is not meant for.
Do yourself a favour. Go and get one today.

This book was absolutely beautiful.

It's amazing how the young poetess could describe different states of the mind & such emotions so simply like that!

I loved reading through every single poem and each one of them took me into a journey of my own thoughts and experiences. I could relate to everything mentioned in the poems.

Words are filled with delicacy and feelings.. Divine Trouble is definitely a book I'll go back to again and again
