This book was not good as the first one, but it was ok. In this book there are characters that piss me off. One of the characters is Ruby. She is really mean and well just gets on your nerves. I really hate Ruby, but sometimes I could see why she is being mean and sometimes I do not. I know that she is being mean and well annoying because she is just jealous of her nemesis Mac. I understand that sometimes when you get jealous you act kind of weird and do things that aren't every nice, but Ruby she is just. UGH. You cannot even explain her, she can be nice for a minute and then well mean and pissy the next second. Although I got to admit as much as I hated her, she made the story interesting. And my next character that pissed me is well Ellie. She was just unbelievable. Even though she was tiny and everything, her actions were unbelievable. The thing about Ellie is that she is just so mean. The thing that she did that was mean was she was surfing and wanted to try a trick, but Becks( my favorite character) told her not to, because well the waves were too big. But Ellie being Ellie tried it and almost drowned, and Austin(Becks&Ellie crush ) came and saved Ellie. When Austin asked what did you do there Ellie answered "Becks told me to". At this point I was pissed, I was so mad that I wanted to go and tell Austin the truth.

Ok, I'm too lazy and worn out to write a summary about this book. So, I'm jsut gonna do a short little evalutation. The story when from 4 stars and then to 3. As the book progressed, it became two. I understand the conflicts and how realistic they are, but something about it just didn't appeal to me. The fact that the story seemed to lull on with the girls' problems ALL THE TIME made it a bit hard to like. And then the part with sabotaging the Thinner Circle? Mmn...kinda obssesive. The end was a MAJOR FLOP. I can relate with teh fact that Mac told her and herself that she had better things to worry about, but the ending could've been much more elaborate, if it was, I would've enjoyed it much more.

I loved the first book and just as I suspected, I loved the second! The book starts off with the girls practicing Le Strut, eager to show off their talented new friend Emily. But the slumber party gets taped... And the enemy, Ruby, is the one behind the camera. After she leaks the embarrassing video the girls are at her mercy. Each member of the inner circle undergoes "punishments" from Ruby and her posse. But in the end the girls pull through:). I would recommend this book for people who are into the middle school girl drama type books, but I wouldn't recommend this book to people who don't care about the "fabulous life of others". This book is also very juvenile.

This book I thought was actually better then the first one in the series. This one actually really reminded me of 'The Clique' series because of so many similarities by I liked this one better. I found it less superficial in a sense. There is no doubt that in parts of the book it definitely was vain and shallow but these characters actually seemed to have feelings whereas I found with 'The Clique' series they weren't all that nice. A pretty good and quick read.

After I finished this book (sorta), it hit me. This is kinda like the Clique series!! (I know some of you are like, No, < duh) Mac (Massie) Accepts new girl Emily (Claire) To her already formed group. It's similar to the clique because Mac and Massie used to rule the school (debate Massie has lost control then got it back) and with their loyal follwers, take out opponents (though with Massie, she had ALOT of "enemies"). Anyways. Good book, can't wait for the next one!

almost famous is the second book of talent . it deal with a teen issues and popularity. It talked about how zoey was know for her talent of acting and she getting a big shot for shooting a movie but she got competition with the other actors and thing got ugly when trying to stay on the top of everyone .

I love Zoey Dean books and have read pretty much all of them, but this book wasn't my favorite AT ALL. I felt like I had to drag through it which is why this book landed 3/5 stars. The last two chapters were really good-it brought out what the book was about, but I feel like this was one of the weakest Zoey Dean books I have ever read. But, I do plan on reading the third one next.

I really liked how much convict was in this book. The hatrid between Mac and Ruby really made the book better. If this had been set in any other place ut California, it would look weird. Best book in the series!

Zoey Dean's books are totally my guilty pleasure. The characters aren't really complex, the stories are shallow, but they're so addicting and so much fun.
