WONDERFUL! SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!!!

This book is about Love and Family, lots and lots of Family!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book! I literally was not able to put it down! OMG, I laughed, gasped, cried and empathized with all of the characters. I’m not sure if I have ever laughed so hard while reading a book. Comedy Gold! There is no character in this book that I did not fall in love with at some point while reading...Sigh!

I am so excited to know that the story does not end here. These characters have so much to them that this book lays the perfect foundation for you to wet your palate for each character. It seems that perhaps each character will have a book written for their story, which is fine by me. I welcome it!

I have to admit that I really did not think that I would love this book as much as I did. The amount of characters scared me at first, thinking there would be not enough time to get to know the characters and how they each relay to the story but in the end, I feel it all came together nicely. There were times when it was hard to follow the conversation of who was say what to whom but if you took your time, you got it in the end!

Ryanne Anthony, great job!!! I really look forward to seeing how this series grows!

This book was suggested by a friend of mine and I want to get down on my hands and knees and kiss his feet. Ryanne Anthony is an amazing author that needs to be read. Broken was an amazing book it had me laughing to where tears were falling down my face to a point in the book I was sobbing because it touched me so deeply. Ryanne is the type of author that has you sitting right next to the characters in the book and you walk their path in life with them. When I finished this book I felt a loss for the characters have loved and learned about. I wanted to read more and luckily I can read on in Mariah the next book in this series. I am a huge fan now and I can't wait to start reading more about this amazing cast of characters.

This book is about two merged families the Cannons and the Harvey's as they are all pulled into a therapy session with Victoria Fields to save the marriage of Joshua and Mandy Cannon, but as the session moves on we learn much more. Secrets will be revealed can the families remain whole or will these secrets destroy them. This a must read and one book that will hit my go to on those days when I need a lift. I loved learning about their lives and cannot wait to continue their journey and learning more about them. The Cannon's and The Harvey's are now part of my family and I love every single one of them. Does this book deserve 5 stars? No it deserves 10++++ I loved this book and I will forever rave about Ryanne and her amazing talent as a writer.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Vicky, a therapist, is seeing a family of 18 people in a group session to help Mandy, one of her patients. During their therapy session the family covers issues including infidelity, rape, trust issues and plenty of talk about their sex lives in front of their siblings and parents. This is a pretty amazing family hiding some very big secrets.

The writer commences by introducing us to all the characters and we are given their names and their nick names. Throughout the book some characters are referred by their first name, their nick name and also Dr or Mrs So and So. It was really hard to keep up with who is who and who was married to who and who was related to who. I wished I read the book with a pen and paper so I could take notes and draw a family tree.

Also, because the therapy session is effectively one big long conversation, often it wasn't clear who was speaking and I found myself regularly re-reading paragraphs for clarity.

In spite of my issues with the writing style I enjoyed Broken very much and I will be moving on to the next book in The M Series as soon as I can. Books 2, 3 and 4 are already available and book 5, Matthew releases any day.

This was a different kind of book than I usually read, but it was very interesting! To me it gave me many different stories at one time and in some cases in depth! I loved reading this story and it touched on some very important topics that many people deal with in their lives! It is about a group of a family that has come together for an important topic, then spreads out into including the whole family! Great read!

08/04/2013 I can't understand why anyone likes this crap. All the laughing in that pain. If I were that guy in the middle of it I would definitely have pulled out an oozi. This book made no sense at all to me. Too many characters and too much crap going on and super therapist comes to the rescue? No sorry. I think this person needs to take this book off the market and go back to being a check out girl in a Wal-mart or something similar. I wish she would let a friend or two read her writing before she attempts to sell another.

09/16/2013 I was wrong. I had to read it again and I apologize to Miss Anthony especially about the Wal-mart crack. Seriously uncalled for. I'm blaming PMS. I reread this book after a friend broke it down for me and now I love it. I so get it and everyone else will too. It truly is a great read and I am so sorry I trashed it before. (Mariah was even better and I am anticipating Marcus.)

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

We find ourselves in the therapist's office with the whole family gathered to help one of their own - yet by the end it feels like everything has been laid bare, for all to see and resolve. It is by turns fascinating, humorous, sad, and entertaining. The range of revelations is staggering and some of the comments and asides are just perfect.

It is difficult to believe that this is the first in the series, as it has revealed a whole raft of prior events. I can't wait to read the next books, and wonder whether they will travel back in time, dealing with the events we know about, or will continue through therapy. Either way - I'm looking forward to finding out!

AHH, amazing!! From page one I was hooked and loved every minute of this book!! This is Mandy and Josh's story but it also focuses on the whole family. Because Josh has a secret that could tear the family apart, they as a group decide to go to therapy together with Victoria Fields. Will the Cannon's and Harvey's be able to remain a close family or will the secrets they learn tear them apart?

I highly recommend everyone to go one click this book. You will cry, you will be gasping and you will also be laughing your butt off at this crazy family!! I loved each and every one of the characters in this book and I can't wait for the next book in The M Series!!

GREAT JOB Ryanne Anthony!!!

First off, I think I would give this book a 4+ star rating. It is a very interesting look at a large family through the very pointed lens of the therapist. I am still overwhelmed by what can be explored through this direction of story telling. I would have to rank this as my most surprising read of the year. This has to be the most creatively written book on the market. If you like being blown away by a book, grab it and dig in. You may need to draw up a couple of family trees so you can follow who belongs to whom, but it is worth the time.
This story begins around a young married woman named Mandy who's husband cheated on her, resulting in a child after a "one night stand". When her therapist, Vicky, decides to bring in all 18 grown family members from the two families, sparks and tears fly. What starts out looking like a wandering hubby, turns into a healing of many family skeletons. By working towards understanding what really happened to Joshua, the whole gang delves into their darkest fears, their wounded souls, and a lot of misunderstanding. It is a heart warming tale of family dynamics and love. The journey these characters go on is not for the faint at heart, but it is worth the trip. Wound expertly through the tale is the lessons of being open and honest with those who matter to you, love with your whole heart, and it is never too late for a fresh start. I found this book to be incredibly open, fresh, and fascinating and I am looking forward to see what else this author has written. It has also confirmed what I already knew-It is always a joy to stumble upon a newer author. You might just find some brilliant new reads to enjoy.

I found this book very thought provoking and I loved every single one of the characters in it. I wanted more when I was finished and luckily for me there are 4 more books following this one that are already out.

I am totally in love with Ryanne Anthony and her writing. I love those Cannon Brothers so much. This is a big family with nicknames for pretty much everyone but it reminds me of my family in that aspect. I don't think I call anyone in my family by their given name. LOL

I would recommend this book very much as I have read it several times over. The M Series is a great series that I want more of. I feel after reading this book that I spent time with some very close friends. I was sad to see it end, hence the reading it again and again.

Thank you Ryanne for bringing your characters to life and I can't wait for more from this crazy family.

Loved this book. I will admit it was kind of hard to follow with all the couples in the same room together but once I start reading the rest of the series, I think I'll be able to straighten them out in my mind. This family just shows you that no family is perfect and most have their own personal dysfunction. I recommend this series!
