I enjoyed reading this set of detective novels. The descriptive writing brought the setting to life and I felt that I was with DI Henderson all of the way. Angus is a well drawn character and I would like to read more books in the series, although I did wonder if any detective could survive as many serious injuries.

Buying kindle books in a series has proved very satisfying as I have followed the adventures of D.I Henderson from his 1st book to his 4th. His career has veered from one adventure to another, and the suspense is maintained throughout. A thoroughly good read and recommended to all lovers of the detective genre
