**Update** ALL "Curse" books will be on audio; Invisible and Inevitable are already available, Insatiable is in production and should be available by year's end, and Invincible will be available a couple of months after release. **

Sariah Skye physically resides with her family in southern Minnesota but mentally everyone is pretty sure she’s from Uranus. She’s a typical quirky Aquarian that swears too much, loves wine, shiny objects, and hates sarcasm and never, ever uses it.
She also loves Star Trek, Doctor Who, ‘90s reruns, and Imagine Dragons (probably a little too much).
In addition to all this oddity she’s an unprofessional obsessive fangirl, loves reading, hates anything domestic, and loves her pretty pink straitjacket. Oh, and she loves to chat with her unwilling kidnappees—err, “fans”, online at various places, like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram .Or drop her an email at sariahskyeauthor@gmail.com or private message her on Facebook.
She also has a private group called the Shenanigan Squad for anyone who might possibly want to follow her works, progress, or just share a silly meme war (though she really doesn’t understand why anyone is there, she loves them all nevertheless). If you want to join, you’re more than welcome:

You can also sign up for her newsletter, and maybe she’ll actually remember to send one out one of these days: http://eepurl.com/cqSJWD

Oh. My. GOODNESS. I thought that book would never end. I can't remember that last time I struggled this hard and long to finish a book; especially a first addition!! This book came to me highly recommended, but it was just TOO LONG and TOO UNEVENTFUL.

Firstly, the constant struggle to decipher WHAT the author was trying to say every other page due to grammatical, spelling, and overall ERRORS grated on my nerves in a way I simply COULD NOT ignore, despite my effort pretending it didn't exist.

I normally try not to let things like grammar errors bother me, especially on first books, because the author is likely just starting out and so focused on telling his/her story that they are not as concerned with going back and editing their works. But with this book being as long as it was, with so many errors that made much of what I was reading hard to understand. It was just too much.

Secondly, with regards to the plot, for being such a long book, everything seemed very fast-paced. The characters wasted no time revealing all their secrets; WHO they are, WHAT they are, who they're associated with, what they can do. It's like there was just NO SECRETS.

Also, I feel like many of the characters presumed to know a lot more than they did, especially when it came to Leo. EVERYONE presumably knew EVERYTHING about Leo, but couldn't really clue her in on ANYTHING, because—guess what?!—they actually didn't know DIDLY SQUAT about what she could really do! Posers.

This wasn't really my cup of tea, being as long and seemingly uneventful as I found it to be. However, I agree with the friend that recommended it to me that it would be a good choice for those who are looking for a dragon-fix. It isn't so "old-fashioned" as many dragon-based books are. Leo is fairly modernized and learning human ways. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, then by all means, PICK IT UP!! I think it's a 50-50 split whether you'll like or dislike this book. Decent odds. Good luck!

What a fantastic debut novel! This book sucked me in right from the beginning. It's got everything you could ask for humor, sarcasm, action, romance and some danger. If you're looking for something new to read in the Urban Fantasy realm then definitely pick this one up. Looking forward to see where Sariah goes after this.

Fated Souls (The Fated Saga Book 1) by Sariah Skye was an interesting book to read. It was my first shifter book, so I didn’t know what to expect. The main female character is a rare dragon breed and has left her home to live as a human.

Fate has plenty of surprises in store for Leorah. She has a chance encounter (or so she believes) with Gabriel O’Donnell. There is a reason as to why they are attracted to one another. I loved that Leorah was a strong female lead. I loved that there was action, drama, and suspense in the story. The story was easy to follow.

The formatting errors and typos took me out of the story. There were some inconsistences with timing in the book, but I overlooked that. I will recommend this series to ones that like paranormal shifter stories.

Lenorah James is a barista with a secret. She is also a shape shifter who can transform into a pink dragon. Unfortunately for her pink dragons are mocked and ridiculed for their lack of power in the dragon world so Lenorah keeps her distance. That is until she meets a knight who's job it is to work with the pink dragons. Everything she thought she knew about herself it turned upside down.
This was a good read for people who enjoy dragon tales. A bit slow moving at times this was an enjoyable read as you learn more about the world. I look forward to seeing where the series goes from the end of this book.

I found this book extremely hard to read. It wasn’t until 40% in that I became intrigued. I’m on the second one now and I have read another book from a different series also. I think it’s a pacing issue. There are scenes that make the plot drag and I skim paragraphs and keep putting it down. I’ve done similar with all three books by this author. What makes me stick with it though?

The plot is great. The characters are likeable and you want them to be happy at the end of the book. I would be happier if the books were shorter (I really do believe they would be better for it) and let the plot and characters shine through.

Great read!

This is about Leorah's journey finding out who she really is and it is amazing. I was pulled in from the beginning. The twists and turns keep you on your toes. I also love the length of this book. Sometimes it feels you are just getting to the good part..then the book is over and you're left impatiently waiting for the next one. This is not the case with fated souls. The details and storyline are wonderful. I am excited to see where leorah's relationships with Maxxus and Daniel are going to go.

This is an awesome book. I absolutely fell in love with the characters in this book. They are quirky, snarky, funny..... Sariah Skye is a wonderful new author. This is not your typical dragon shifter book.
It takes you in totally unexpected directions. The characters are well developed. If you love dragons you will like this book. There are dragons, Wizards, Fae, Unicorns, and many many other super naturals. Definitely worth checking out. Wonderful book.

I absolutely fell straight into this book...I zipped through the first chapters with no issues. I enjoyed the whole story overall, and with dragon shifters...how could I NOT feel compelled to read on! About 3/4 of the way through or so, things got a little confusing, but if you keep reading...they start making sense again.

I definitely plan to keep up with this series, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Interesting

I really liked that the main character is a dragon. She was pretty relatable. I liked how, despite her ostracism she was still likeable and her brother and grandfather were on her side, no matter what. Unfortunately, the story dragged for me and I just had a hard time getting through it. It's not a bad story. It just didn't grip me.

I loved it!!

The characters are all compelling! Leorah is wonderfully flawed and strong all at once, and she gains a group that complements her well.

The author did a wonderful job explaining details of the world and painted clear imagery of everything that was happening.

So excited to see more of the different realms and see the group grow more! <3

WARNING THE CONTENTS OF THIS BOOK ARE JUST AS AWESOME AS THE COVER. This book dangles you into the world of shifters and magic. It is written so well you would swear you were sitting on a cloud above watching it all unfold rather than reading it. Get the book, It will be one of the best things you did. Now immersing myself in book 2 yay.

I really enjoyed this book. A few other reviewers complained about the length of the book but I honestly loved every minute. It sucked me right in and I felt like I was right there with Leo on her epic adventure. I finished all 3 books extremely fast and each one gets better and better. I can't wait until book number 4!

So good!!

I loved this book!! The cover was what captured my interest but the book itself!! WOW it was just amazing... I can't remember the last time I read an e-book that was long and kept my interest throughout the story. I normally get distracted too easily but this held my interest all the way through. Was brilliant.

Creative and Entertaining

This book was a bit slow and very long, but the characters were great, the plot was fresh and inventive which what I've come to expect when reading Sariah Skye's writing. The magic was amazing, the romance between the characters is exciting and challenging. I look forward to seeing what happens next in the Dragon court for Leo and Maxxus.

Oh dear! Once you think you have found the right path, you're wrong! This is an action packed tale of the girl who always thought she was too wrong to fit in anywhere.
Leorah is a defiant badass shifter, who is much more important than she thinks she is.
I was absolutely hooked from start to end.
This is not a stand alone, but the first in The Fated Saga.

Really enjoyed the book! Great having the main character be a female shifter! Already on the second book! Could use a bit more editing, found a few errors, but great for a first work. Can't wait to continue to read the series!

Wow

Slow burn but an amazing story can not wait to start on book 2. Love how she went from a somewhat regular dragon to the fate of the world resting on her shoulders

This book was ok, just a bit juvenile and over simple for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish. Writing was good, just not for me.

Five Stars From Me!

Sorry no spoilers of any kind. This book has left me at a loss for words to tell you the truth and there’s no way that I can describe this story.
So all I can really say is this book was very well written and this is the first time that I have read anything by the author Sariah Skye and I have to tell you I’ll definitely be reading more of her books in the future because she is absolutely fantastic at weaving her stories. So if you haven’t read her work do what I did and take a chance because I can definitely guarantee that you will not be disappointed at all.
Yes I do recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in crawling between these pages of this book and becoming lost in this reality that Sariah Skye has created.

Amazing new writer

I was hooked in the first chapter. This book was a pleasant surprise . Leorah is a dragon but not just any dragon she is a pink dragon. Growing up she is taught that she has no magic and she cannot fly. While working in a coffee shop in a small town she believes that she can just live her life and hide from all the ridicule that she was forced to face growing up around other dragon's. She soon finds out that keeping this secret is harder than she imagined. This story has a little something foe everyone whether is magic, shapeshifters, or just a good mystery it's all here. It makes you want to cheer and scream at the same time. I loved every chapter and couldn't put it down.

I loved every page of this story! It's a truly fantastic story and I'm really excited to see where book 2 takes us! Leo is a very funny and loveable main character and the rest of the cast fit perfectly together within the overall story. It's been a long time since I've read a series opener that's as rich in plot development and character story lines.....it's also a real bonus to see it on KU! If you love dragon shifter stories, light hearted humour, a nerdy love story and lots of action.....well this book is for you!

Decent but a bit slow

I started off enjoying this book and the premise of a pink Dragon with mysterious powers, however the story soon slowed down, and I found myself skipping parts until I gave up about two thirds in. The slowest parts were the discussions between Leo and Gabriel. They just went on far too long.

There was also too little action in the book which contributed to it becoming boring. I do recommend you give it a try though as you may be more patient than myself and make it too the end.

This is a fun book!

Fans of dragon shifter stories will really enjoy it! It has action, romance, fun characters and an interesting story. This is not your usual heroine. She's awesome but mostly doesn't know it. I really liked seeing her grow and discover what she can do. I also enjoyed the world the author created and can't wait to find out more about it. Can't wait to see what happens with Leorah in the next book!

What a great first book to a series I've ever read. The author has managed to hold my attention through the whole book. I loved the different supernatural creatures and how they all come together.

not what I thought it would be. it needs more action. the only reason I finished it was because I wanted to know what happens. I did skip a few chapters. I don't' know if I will read the next one, but I do want to know how it ends so I might just scam it
