I sell more than sex. I sell experiences.
My clients are women of taste and style, with money to lavish on their most intimate fantasies.

The contract is clear: Absolute confidentiality. No limits. 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
I take them to that place in the half-light, where pleasure blurs with pain, and sex becomes so much more. Beautiful filth, sweet and dirty and so fucking delicious. They take it all and always come back for more.

I’m in it for the money, and maybe the pleasure, too.
I don’t do emotional involvement. Ever. I’m a professional, and this is business.

Until she walks in.
Client number SIX
And things get really fucking complicated.

1.5 stars. No. Just no.

Caution: I'm about to spoil the fuck out of this.
Caution Part Two: This is gonna get gross as fuck.

Let me throw a disclaimer in here first. A lot of this is not my kink. Now, that's not a deal-breaker for me. For example, Dirty Bad Wrong featured many sexy things that I found oh-so-hot, and some that I didn't. For example, drinking your partners piss, let's say fresh from the fountain? And choking on a cock until you vomit. However! These elements worked in the context of the story because you could tell that the spark of the characters was there. They were getting off on each other and even if I didn't find the acts themselves sexy, their chemistry and relationship sure as hell was.

My motto? Okay, it's Amy Poehler's, but I'm stealing it. Shuck it Trebeck!

My issue is NOT with the sex specifically in Six. It's not my cup of tea, but hey I don't even like tea, give me a fucking Diet Coke or a Frappe or something. My issue is with the story, and unfortunately the context of the sex with the story...it's super gross.

LAST CHANCE TO TURN BACK! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

So, Emma Jane is engaged. She doesn't really want to be, it's all arranged for some financial bullshit with her parents. (Sidenote: some of the language early on is very confusing as to the time period. It's eventually clear that it's modern day, but with the forced marrying off of the daughter, her off fucking stable boys, and the word "betrothed"? Feels very old school.)

So to help her poor niece, who's desperate for a good dicking before her marriage (despite the fact that she's already engaged) her Aunt Fiona sets her up with the mysterious "Mr. Gold," a prostitute ready to treat her to a week of carnal delights.

I wouldn't personally feel comfortable having my aunt fund my sexcapades. Then again, I know many families are a lot more open about sex than mine. But how does Aunt Fiona know that this hired man will have enough bang for the buck? Well, she's been regularly sampling the goods of course.

If that is too weird for you, bail out here. Oh sweet summer child, bail out here.

So Emma Jane is off for a week of kinky, no-holds-barred excitement with the mysterious sex god. And at first all is good! The sex is better than expected. There's a whole cast of "Angels," beautiful people who live on his estate and are only too happy to rise to the occasion to please a client. She especially connects with Suki, who sometimes comes across as an Asian caricature; she's crazy for Hello Kitty and sometimes speaks in broken English. If anyone else noticed this or can remember any specific examples, please let me know!

So at this point, the characterizations are lacking, but not irredeemable. I wasn't captivated, but I wasn't exactly ready to give up either. This is where it earns getting rounded to two stars instead of one; the writing is fine and there was an attempt to give Mr. Gold depth with some backstory.

Then. THEN! Everything went nuttier than a squirrel in a tub of Nutella.

It's not just Emma Jane's aunt who's been seeing Mr. Gold. Her mother Roz is also a devoted client. One who enjoys, among other kinks, filling her vagina with mayonnaise so strangers can use her as a human dipping bowl before fucking her.

If you're wondering if you read that sentence right, you did. I think I got a yeast infection just reading about it. But it gets worse. Not only does Mr. Gold decide not to tell Emma Jane, "hey, btw babe, I've been fucking your mom, and doing all kinds of nasty kinky shit with her." He describes these things to her. Just to see if she'd do them.

*screams*What in the name of Merlin's most baggy Y Fronts is wrong with these people!?*continues screaming*

It just gets weirder / worse. There was a mini crossover / shoutout to Dirty Bad Secrets that amused, but honestly the second half of the book had virtually nothing I liked. There was a literal interrupted wedding, complete with "speak now or forever hold your peace." And the bride running away down the isle. HOW can a book with such crazy fucking shit pull such a cliche?

And all the secret keeping and unnecessary drama!

'We must tell Miss Emma everything,’ Suki said.
‘If only it was that simple,’ I said.

It is that simple, you useless burnt poptart.

But this is the kicker. EVERYBODY - and I do mean everybody, is fucking each other. Aunt Fiona ends up fucking Suki's cousin.
Mr. Gold has fucked half of Emma Jane's family.
Her dad is fucking her fiance.
Her fiance is fucking her mom. And her dad.

I need a drink. Or six.

3.75 Gold Smut Stars!

Yes! pun intended..

Wow.. by far the most controversial Book I have ever read, which makes it difficult to review, on one hand, I loved the deviant no limits exploration of one’s sexual self, yet I had mixed feelings, I was hoping for more of a connection between the main characters Jon and Emma, they lacked depth, aside from the creative kinky fuckery and the arousal it inspired... I gave in, taking it for what it was, a work of fiction, and just enjoyed the ride..

Be Warned..
A hardcore BDSM scene that blended then blurred into obscurity.. which confused me, considering Jonathan was supposed to be an experienced Dom...

Having said all that, I really enjoyed it for the love story it became, I don’t know what that says about me, read it and decide for yourself, I will also probably read the second book at some point in the future.

I finished this book yesterday and I've been thinking about it the whole night. I'm really torn on how to rate and review this book. When I think about it, I think a two star is too severe but at the same time I can't say that a 3 stars review fits the book.

First thing I want to point is that the book should come with a small warning. This is by far the dirtiest book I've read, I even have to say that to some extend it's not even dirty, it's more disgusting. Even Dirty Bad wrong by Jade West was more acceptable.

I'm no prude, I've read my fair share of dirty books but this one goes beyond what I've read. I was not shocked by what I've read but still I think some may be. I've read an ARC so I hope there will be some warning before for those who wants to buy the books.
My majors issue with the book was how there are not enough details. The main story is put aside for the sexual discovery and at the end I'm left in the dark on so many subjects I could only be disappointed.
If you read this book for the sexual promise it gives, then you'll be happy. You'll get sex scenes after sex scenes but I was looking for more depth.

The writing style was also a little bit unsettling regarding the use of some word. It was like the story didn't take place nowadays. Maybe it's just me as a non-english native but for example the use of the word: betrothed is not common, right?

Six is the first book by James Crow and even if my rating might be low, I'll still see what this author has in store for the future, just because my mind is dirty and I like reading dirty books.

Great read, had me on edge through the entire book Mr Gold was a dirty nasty fantasy. Took you to the edge and begging for more for the right price & Emma was just the right person to receive all he had to give for 1 week of bliss paid for by her Aunt Fiona. That was until truths came out and Jonathon got scared.

4.5 stars for the hot as fuck, cringeworthy kink-
3 stars for... Well....everything else

This was crazy kinky, super hot and at times uncomfortably dirty.

Heed the authors warning: "ADVISORY: contains graphic depictions of kink, fetish, and BDSM"
~~~
In a very "Jade'esque" way, the author pulls you into the world of filthy kink, dirty and often taboo sex. Things you would never even consider will end up a fantasy. (Eek- I'll never eat mayo again)
This book is NOT for the easily offended or the least bit close minded! If you love BDSM, kink, fetishes and shocking sexual limits then this is for you.
As far as my 3 star... The premise of the book was a good idea... I was intrigued and it was unique enough that I stayed interested. I had a hard time connecting with the story, I just didn't FEEL.... The 'h' was annoying as shit and a little too over the top trying to prove how dirty she could be. The emotions developed quickly and I felt it was rushed and skimmed over. At one point I actually forgot there was even a story outside of the sex.
My limits were pushed and I was definitely shocked and grossed out and hot and bothered. For that fact alone I would definitely read another by this author.
For a Debut Book this one was very good, some of it for me was very out there... we will say, a few of my peeves kept popping up and it kinda threw me off reading it but i like the storyline and wanted to see where it went,
It has some really HOT sex i'll tell you that Mr Gold is somewhat experienced,
i liked Suki she is a quirky little thing with her funky tea, Emma Jane kinda got on my tits a little bit not sure why something about her just irked me ..
The Storyline is good and the hot sex made me like this one tbh not so much the characters themselves a lot of instalove if that's your thing.
Would Mr Gold be my book boyfriend ? no sorry and i cannot tell you why as it's a spoiler but if you wanna know that bad feel free to message me and i will tell you :)
Warning not for the closed minded , i'm no prude but even some of this shocked the hell outta me
TBH when I started this book, I thought "omg, another smut filled Jade-esque book !!"
Boy, was I wrong !!!.This book is Hot, kinky, nasty, dirty, downright filthy sex ....and MORE!
You fall in love with Emma Jane. She's a sweet , frustrated, desolate girl trapped in a gilded cage , about to be betrothed to a slime ball to save her family's fortune and her inheritance. She's having quick shags in the stables just so she can feel something other than misery.
Aunt Fee comes to the rescue and whisks her away to Proverbial Utopia of Thirsty Souls .
She meets Jonathan Gold , A Master , and quickly regains control of her body and mind....losing her heart in the process.
First things first - the kinks and heavy BDSM stuff is a step, actually steps .... whole damn staircase ahead of Dirty Bad series , that were my limit . <------- Pls.Note WERE!!!!
A nod to The Queen Bee , Jade West herself as Andy comes to the rescue .
Club Explicit – in the city, Arnold Winters – blacklisted.
Mr. Billy is a showerer !! Of the golden kind !!!*gasp*
Mommy is a salad & Dip bowl , and don't even get me started on Daddyeo and Slimy William !!The story hits a sharp hairpin curve and Lo and Behold , nasty rotten skeletons come tumbling out of the closet. It appears Jonathan is entwined with her in more ways than one ..huh!
There's more to what the eyes of Emma can see, she's a mere pawn in a sick and twisted family play.
Suki helps Jonathan find his balls and Aunt Fee whips him into action to save the Damsel In Distress.
couple of scenes in the book were scorching , panty - burning hot.
Like the Round Room scene and The Restaurant scene . Jonathan and Emma like to play Footsie .. filthy minxes !!!
AND ..... a scene which made me ....read it for yourself !
Suki went to the chair and lifted the plush seat. It came up like a toilet lid and I noticed that’s indeed what it was – a toilet bowl. Suki pushed her bikini bottoms to her knees, lifted her robe and sat down. At the same time the TV screen in front of her flickered to life.
some of the acts are shocking , I'm like. .. huh !!
There's a personal trigger for me , but that's expected of such a book .
But it's the new explicit genre that's evolving and for me personally, if it's well written, I'll be reading it :)
A fantastic book that shocks you at first, pulls you in then you gives you the feels.
what more could I ask for !
Emma Jane was to marry for her family sake not for love. She had resigned herself to believe that it was how things were suppose to be. But directly before the big wedding her favorite Aunt sent her on a week's exploration of what life had to offer. Enter Mr. Jonathan Gold, a man who sold sexual experiences to an elite clientele with no fantasy unexplored. Jonathan enjoyed the pleasure he dished out but he was detached from it all until the day Emma Jane walked into his office. She had an effect on him he had not felt in a long time. Jonathan took control of Emma's pleasure & showed her what it was like to experience pleasure & pain like she never knew existed. But Jonathan was holding back a secret that could destroy what he had building with Emma Jane. What would happen when that secret was no longer buried?
This is James Crow's debut work but not the first of his novels that I have read. He has a great gift for being the dark recesses of sexual experiences into the light & giving the reader a glimpse into the world of BDSM. His writing is both erotic & thought provoking with a healthy dose of humor added in. I know that I will read this book again & again..... it is a book for liberation, trust & above all else finding lost love.
WOW just WOW 6 fucking stars I would rate this book.
SIX is dirty and raw and a night in shining armor love story. it made places tingle that I didn't know could. If this is any indication on how MR. James Crow writes he will forever have a stalker or um fan in me. it's filthy dirty in all the right ways.
Jonathan Gold is paid to give his clients an experience of a life time, to do all the dirty kinky filthy things they are wanting but not getting at home. Its just a job right? well that is in till Emma Jane walkes in the door, number SIX isn't want he was expecting and number SIX wasn't expecting what she finds .
Some of my favorite quotes in the book. (no spoilers)
What did I desire? I was here for sex, wasn't I? Here to experience the best sex? " I desire good sex sir."
Inexperienced yet eager, dirty yet cautious, hesitant yet willing. SIX was a dimond among gems, a truth among lies. SIX was just perfect...and I was going to give her the fuck of her life.
I've been debating whether to give this 2 or 3 stars. I eventually settled on 2, partly because of some of the other books I've given 3 stars I didn't feel this deserved 3.
There's something a little off about this book's writing, it's hard to describe. Like the words aspect is very good but the character part is off. Like watching a good movie but having it ruined by someone badly narrating everything that happens. That is the image that comes to mind with this book. If that makes any sense.
Also the ending is so rushed. Like the author miscalculated how many pages were left and didn't realize until there was 3 pages left and had to quickly squeeze in an ending. I could almost hear the pace of the words speeding up like someone was fast forwarding, it felt that hurried.
I even didn't have this book on TBR. I listed through GR when I saw it and I remember it from previous discussions. I don't know if James Crow is just another pen name for Jade West or what? Writing style seems the same....and it's much much dirtier / filthier than any Jade West's book I ever read!
I didn't expected strong and deep story; you won't find it here, because you read this kind of book JUST and ONLY because of dirthy, filthy and kinky sex.
Beta Read and WoW 5*++
James Crow is a brand new author and trust me you are going to want to add his books to your list!
Jonathan Gold ~ WoW what a sexual man he is, nothing is off limits , he deliveries exactly what the customer orders and then some. Mr Gold treats everyone the same until sweet looking Emma Jane arrives.....
Emma Jane is domed by her parents wishes' and seeks some filth before her life is taken over. Will she get the desires she seeks and be able to walk away untouched?
Six is a gripping read that will draw you in from the first chapter, very well written and flows brilliantly throughout the whole book.
Six has one hell of a twisted storyline that you will never guess but you will try to work out the outcome until the end.
Six contains a lot of dirty, filthy, kinky sexual events some that you would never imaged of !. Along side the brilliant sex is a lot of laugh out moments, shocks and an excellent storyline.
James Crow's debut novel is outstanding and I will be waiting for more books from him soon.
I went into this for the fucked-up-ness and that's exactly what I got. I do think the blend of pure smut and actual romance was a little weird though. It seemed kind of sudden when out of nowhere we started getting a little background on Jonathan instead of just sex scenes. But then there wasn't anything actually in depth about him so it felt more like a throwaway type of thing.
Aside from that there were a lot of shocking, wide-eye moments and I was enjoying reading on and trying to see just where Jonathan would take Emma Jane. In a weird way it was kind of disappointing that the most depraved acts were just stories of other clients and nothing that Emma Jane herself was apart of. But I am interested in reading more about her!
Title: Six
Author: James Crow
Series: standalone
Genre: hardcore erotic romance
Rating: *****
I don't think a book has ever given me such a hangover before. I am genuinely still obsessed with everything that is this, and James Crow has an insta-buy reader for life. If I rated books in terms of orgasms, or even in terms of number of times I had to re-charge my rabbit, this would top the lot (and I read a hell of a lot of smut).
I absolutely loved the complexities of the two lead characters, the innocent filth of Emma Jane and the dominant exterior of Jonathan, and how well they played off - and with - each other. Jonathan in particular is fantastic as he's not the typical alpha, but rather feels like a real person. And for me, that's the main attraction of this story. The detail of the little things: the burping, the scratching, the pissing that we all do in life, but seem to be forgotten in novels. The rawness of the sex.
Yet, at the heart of this, buried underneath the hardcore, gritty sex, is a sweet love story that had me rooting unconditionally for the two, and a massively satisfying, funny ending that speaks to the romantic in all of us. This is as near perfection as you get.
Holy WOW! Going into Six I was expecting a dirty, sexy book with a lot of kink and I was not disappointed at all! What I wasn't expecting but very pleasantly surprised by is the seamless flow of the writing and the storyline involved. I may even have shed a tear or two during this very gripping story! Emma is being forced into a marriage with a man she doesn't love by her family and feels trapped and helpless to change her circumstances. Her Aunt knows gives her a surprise gift before her wedding and that is Jonathan, the man who can make all her dirty fantasies a reality. But he may have some secrets of his own. I loved the twists and turns of the story and scorching hot sex scenes, this is the hottest, dirtiest, sexiest book I have ever read and I read A LOT of smut!
If you like kink and have an open mind then this book is for you and put it on your must read list! I loved it and can't wait to read more from this very talented author!
Title: Six
Author: James Crow
Category: Erotica, BDSM
Series or Standalone: Standalone
POV: Dual
Plot: 3
Characters: 3
Scorching Level: 3
HEA: Not telling
Lovers of the dirty side, this is for you. Emma Jane is a young woman about to be married to a man she doesn't want because her family forces her to do so.
By the encouragement of her aunt, she decides to get away for six days and spend her time in the company of Jonathon Gold. Mr. Gold runs a male escort service and he is the star of his company. Women pay him huge amounts of money for a session and he has never disappointed a client.
As soon as he meets Jane, he is intrigued by her, so much so that he starts breaking all the rules for her.
Call it six sense, if you like. I had a feeling client number six was going to be a game changer.
~Jonathon
As Emma spends her days with Jonathon, they develop an intense physical connection that will change their lives.
I liked the premise of the book, but I do believe the story needed a little something to make it more intense. I don't mean that it needed more sensuality and grittiness; I think it needed more character development. I wanted to see more of Emma and Jonathon, why they felt that intense connection and how they impacted each other's lives to make them fall in love. I think the introduction to Emma was a bit abrupt and from the get go I felt little conenction to her. As the story went on, I got to know her better, but just as she started growing on me, the plot took another direction and I was uncertain again.
I liked Jonathon even though I think his character changed a lot towards the last 20% of the book.
The conclusion felt a bit rushed, but I enjoyed the twists and turns!
Overall, I enjoyed it, I didn't skip, but I wanted something more to make this a 5 star read!
"Six was a diamond among gems, a truth among lies. Six was just perfect . . . and I was going to give her the fuck of her life.
Holy shitballs, this book was just hot as fuck. Hahahaha. This book made me so fucking hot like no other. I was so shocked at how amazing this book was to me. I think my brain combusted to oblivion. Or is it my ovaries that combusted. I do not even know at all but just know my body was going through some crazy shit while reading this book lol. Written by James Crow who happens to be a new to me author, I was just left baffled and completely dazzled by how this book made my senses hot and heavy. It was just amazing to read.
Emma Jane Winters is getting married to a man who she does not love nor tolerate at all so she fucks stable boys because her husband is shitty in the bedroom. Her aunt devises a plan for her to go to an escort service she uses for six days and enjoy hot, filthy and dirty sex with a hot man named Jonathon Gold. She meets Jonathan Gold and she indulges in hot sex with him. Sparks fly and feelings develop between them. This book was filthy. It was kinky. It was raw. It was beautiful. It had hot sex. It was simply crazy hot and I totally needed a book like this after reading a lot of romance books. It delivered the naughty. Its been long since I read a purely erotic book but I loved how different this book was. It had an interesting edge to it. The scenes. HOLY SMOKES!!!!!The scenes were jus hot and dripping with sexy goodness. I loved the BDSM scenes because I was able to push my boundaries to something different. I loved it so damn much. Plus this book got me thinking even after I finished it to point that it was memorable.
The characters were so dynamic. Emma Jane is a dirty girl. My oh my my she was so naughty and was shocked that she was willing to do all those filthy things. I feel like she was too submissive. I had a problem with that but I liked her soft nature. Jonathon Gold. YES. The guy who gives golden orgasms. He was definitely hot nut I hated how secretive he was. But he was hot. He can whip and chain me up any day. LOL. However, I did not feel their connection. I did not feel it was believable. I needed more.
Six is a sexy and hot book. If you need a book that will make you hot and heavy then you need to read this book and experience the naughty.
WOW, What an adventure I just read! This book was super hot, filled with plenty of different adventures for your smutty self to enjoy. But with that being said, there was a good story wrapped in between all the hotness. You as an person have every right to control what happens in your life. Don't let peer pressure dictate the outcome.
Emma Jane is being 'forced' to marry a man who she doesn't love? All for the sake of making your family worth more than it already is.
Emma's favorite Aunt totally gets what is happening.... (I strive to be just like Auntie!!! Everyone wants an Aunt like this in their family!!
Jonathan Gold is the owner of a 'resort' for people to come live out their fantasies... There is nothing he hasn't seen or participated in...
This is a very well written, quick flowing, get your sham-wow panties ready kind of book. I really enjoyed reading this and will look forward to more from James Crow.
Six by James Cox is completely and utterly filthy and I adored every single moment of it.  I do want to put a warning, that this book is not for the faint of heart or those easily offended by the more interesting and extreme sexual fetishes.  Some very unique and fringe kinks are illustrated that will not be everyone's cup of tea (<--- there is an in joke of sorts here you will understand once you have read this book), but for those out there who aren't afraid to be a bit uncomfortable as they read a good and filthy erotic romance this book should be the perfect way to spend a weekend.
Emma Jane is living a sheltered and ultimately unfulfilling life thanks to her horrid parents (and as the story unfolds they just get worse and worse).  She is about to marry someone she doesn't love because he will help save her family's precarious financial situation.  She has dreams and desires, but she is trapped because of the obligations she feels she must fulfill (though she give her desires an outlet in the form of the stable boys).  Her Aunt Fiona decides what she needs before her impending nuptials is six days spent at a mansion that will allow her to sow every wild sexual oat she can dream of and then some.  She is at first intrigued and then horrified as Fee gives her a peak into what she has purchased for her.  Ultimately she agrees to visit this 'den of passion' as Fee so delicately puts it, though is reluctant when she first arrives.
Jonathon Gold is the owner of the establishment Emma Jane is about to visit.  He is a millionaire with varied sexual tastes and a reputation for all things sexual that proceeds him.  His mansion is a place for the wealthy to indulge in any and all sexual fantasies that can be dreamed up.  He and his group of Angels help them make their deepest, dirties and kinkiest dreams realities.  At first glance he seems like your typical playboy millionaire who cares only about sexual gratification.  He works hard at keeping his emotions under wrap and he usually has no problems staying detached, but client six, Emma Jane, is different.  She is special and he is drawn to her contradicting innocence and dirty nature.
I mentioned at the beginning of this review how filthy this book was and I feel a need to repeat myself.  The sex scenes in this story were filthy and took on some very interesting and unique kinks (I don't think I will ever be able to look at a mayonnaise jar the same way again).  There is so much more here though than just a filthy smutty erotic story.  At the heart of this book, there is a developing romance that was surprisingly sweet.  There were also a lot of very funny moments that had me chuckling out loud.  My favorite part of this story, though, was the wonderful characters.  Emma Jane, Jonathon, Fiona and Suki were unique and memorable.  I will admit to taking awhile to warm up to Emma Jane and Jonathon in the early parts of this story, but once we were able to see below the surface I loved them.  My favorite character, without a doubt, was Aunt Fee.  She was too fun and the most wonderful cheerleader a niece could hope for.  I also have a huge soft spot for Suki, who could have easily become just a write off character there to add some extra sexual elements, but was charming and heartwarming and became an integral secondary character.  I enjoyed watching Jonathon help Emma Jane explore her sexuality and desires and watching these two fall into feelings for each other was sexy, amusing, at times frustrating (especially for awhile toward the end, I wanted to shake them both, good thing they had Fiona) and ultimately sweet and romantic.  I especially loved the ending.
I believe this is James Crow's first book and I was pleasantly surprised by how well written it was.  When I first began reading I expected this to be the typical PWP (plot, what plot?) smut-filled erotica and am very happy I was proven wrong.  I cannot wait to see what other stories James Crow will treat his readers to in the future!
2.5 star rating
I don’t know really what to make of this one. Okay, it was probably the dirtiest book that I’ve ever read. Things were, let’s put it this way, interesting. I was shaking my head numerous times. It wasn’t a bad book, but it was just way over-the-top for me. It’s a pretty short story, so not many details. And, holy crap, if you like erotica in your books, than this is one for you. The kink and the sex. Wow, blushing with a bright red face...
Jonathon Gold sells more than sex. He sells experiences. Mindblowing hot and heavy sexual experiences! Emma Jane is engaged to be married to a man that she despises. But, it’s all for her parents’ sake that she decides to go through with the hopeless situation. Emma Jane loves sex too. She’s got more partners than she has stablehands. Her aunt talks her into a sort of last hurray of singledom. So she finds herself on her way on a trip that’s sure to meet her wildest expectations.
This is one book that will definitely have you either turning the pages in anticipation as to what the author will think up next or have you skimming because of the ridiculousness of it all. Whichever you decide, the author has definitely gotten your attention. There was one part of the story concerning the loss of a side character that I really did not think was necessary. Maybe it just brought a little more depth to Jonathon’s character. And, the other thing that I didn’t like was that Jonathon seemed more a bit more dominant in the beginning than at the end of the story. I felt that he just didn’t grow much as a character. Emma Jane, though, seemed to come out the victor in the conclusion. She got her cake and ate it too while sticking it to the ones that tried to take advantage of her.
Let’s just say that Six really got my attention in more ways than one. What will Mr. Crow come out with next is my highly anticipated question??
This is my first book by this author and it's not going to be the last either. If you are a reader like me and don't mind pure filth Mr Crow is right up your street.
We meet Emma Jane Watson who is being forced to marry William Ripley who is heir to the Ripley Gum and Candy empire. Her parents couldn't care one little bit that their daughter is unhappy and doesn't want to marry William all they care about is their own financial security once Emma os married to William. You cant help but feel for Emma as she really has no idea how she is going to get out of this marriage. William is as dull as dishwater and as for sexually he has much excitement in him as a deflated balloon.
Step forward Emma's Aunty Fee who knows how Emma is feeling and gives her a gift of six days with Johnathan Gold Escort Services so that Emma can enlighten herself. Aunt Fee has also arranged for the main man Johnathan Gold to be the one who takes Emma under his wings but will six days be enough or to much.
Johnathan Gold knows that he is good at what he does and is able to treat every client the same he doesn't mix business and pleasure together. Johnathan is determined that Emma will have the best six days of her life but when Emma walks something stirs inside and this isn't good for Johnathan regardless he carries with the task in hand but when the six days comes to a end will Emma and Johnathan be able to leave each other and just see it as fun before Emma marries William or have found what that are looking for in one another.
**ARC RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW**
WOW !!
I want an aunt like Emma Jane's !!
A week before she's due to get married,married to a man who really, she can't stand, Emma Jane's aunt surprises her with a trip that's bound to leave a lasting impression on her.
What starts as a week of exploring her deepest, darkest fantasies with Jonathon Gold, ends up with secrets coming out, secrets which, if they were to ever surface, could spell the end of her impending wedding.
This book was DEFINITELY not what i was expecting ! I knew, from the blurb, that it was going to be hot, but OMG i wasn't prepared for just HOW hot !!
For a first time author this was absolutely amazing !! Really well written and the story flowed brilliantly.
I really can't wait to read more from this author !!
⛔️⛔️⛔️
Let me start by saying I’m giving it two stars and not one just because the author was good in portraying the chemistry between the two characters. And also because I enjoyed Faith the only decent character in this messy story.
Let’s start from the beginning... this is a story with loads of BDSM and the author’s warnings are there and are very real so heed them before jumping! So if you’re not into these situations steer away as you won’t like this story.
Despite some sick stuff that goes on, that’s not what I didn’t like here, on the other hand that was the only good part. Which was also, de facto, the only parts where we saw Emma and Jonathon connect.
The main characters are Emma and Jonathon Gold (yup, that’s his name, just that had my eyes roll so far back in my head it hurt). We also have a second character called Suki who will become Emma lesbo wet dream and oohhh so BFF.
So Mr Gold is this respectable (yes you heard me well) and professional prostitute whose ultimate goal is giving pleasure to his clients and satisfy all their kinks and dirty dreams. So far so good… as soon as he sees Emma he knows she’s different and starts breaking rules for her such as fingering her in his study during their first meeting. He then proceeds to initiate her into his world by helping her to discover her dirty fantasies. In reality he keeps comparing her to Heather (his previous dead lover) and he continues doing so during the whole story but then he says he Loves Emma 🤦‍♀️ confused yet? Wait and see what’s next... Jonathon realises Emma is none other than the daughter of one of his sicko client, (way to show how much you respect your job to hold such views on your clients who happen to also pay your bills) anyway, what does he do? He tells her of course, (would be the obvious answer) nope, he doesn’t! He proceeds to find out if Emma enjoys the same sick shit as her mum... One of them “being pissed on” yes, that’s so classy! And guess what sweet Emma says! Yes! Of course but “I’d be selective” and that dear reader is what makes Emma stand out and be oh so better than her mum! Sooooo only selective people can piss on Emma since she has a refined taste 🤔
Jon realises he’s in love with Emma because he doesn’t let anyone stick his dick in her (he wants her all for him) but he can dip his in anyone (her mum and her aunt included) and Suki of course, which he would have done given the chance. Still he calls William, Emma’s fiancé William an hypocrite (btw Willam is so much worse than that and I’m glad he gets served what he deserved in the end).
Let’s move on to Emma who is even worse that Mr Gold, 50% of her speech is “fuck me, fuck me, fuck me...” you get the drift. Emma is obliged to marry her sicko fiancé William because of money, yes she says she cannot give up her inheritance but then she changes her motivations and she says it’s because her father would not allow otherwise without harming her. Can we please have some clarity and coherence here?
Emma is not annoyed by Jon fucking her aunt but gets all worked up when she hears Jon also visited any available hole her mum has, really girl? Are you that sensitive?
As said before, Jon keeps comparing Emma to Heather who never appears in Emma’s speech and then, one day, she starts talking about her to Suki out of the blue, just like that and guess what! Instead of being pissed the person she loves compares her to a deceased one she keeps saying how amazing she must have been, especially since she could fuck 20 people in one sitting. Yes! You go girl way to have high standards in life.
In the final part of this messed up story the author wants us to know that aunt Faith has found a new angel (angels are handsome and beautiful residents in Mr Gold house who work for him, keeping clients happy and they are horny all the time). Mr Gold is ready to be everything Emma has always wished for 😂
One last thing that got on my last nerve... in this place “Mr Gold doesn’t believe in condoms” so all guests are tested for STD which happens in less than 24 hrs! Then it’s ok to mix fluids with anyone and anything 🙄 as hygienic norms aren’t to be taken into consideration!
I guess these were my major turn off in a story I can’t make no head nor tail of the narrative pattern nor characters development let alone growth.
Thank you for putting up with my rant, if you got this far that is, I had to voice my observations just like Emma needs some dick all the time (but don’t think of her as having just that in mind) she’s just horny 80% of the book 😉
You know that trip to the lingerie store you were planning?
Yeah...that one.
Well, you need to postpone or else you'll ruin your new pairs by the time you finish reading Six by James Crow.
In fact, if you don't believe me just go check your handy dictionnary...look up the word DIRTY and you'll see Six as the prime example.
To say Jonathan and Emma Jane are the epitome of DIRTY would be a gross understatement...it was that hot!
Now that we've established the heat factor in this book, let's talk about the story.
The premise is original, the message behind it noble and heart-warming. Emma Jane is the pawn in her family's scheming plans but her quirky aunt Fiona has other ideas for her life. Thank the all mighty gods of sexual satisfaction. Enter... Jonathan Gold.
Hear that sound?
That was the inevitable disintegration of my knickers at the mention of this Master.
I won't go any further in the heart of the story because any information could be considered a spoiler. I must say that I completely enjoyed this book, so engrossed in it that my ears couldn't even register the sound of my kids talking to me.
So, it is with great pride that I fall to my knees and hail the new King of Filth. James Crow, I am forever your humble reading servant.
Off to buy new knickers, now.
I don't mind the cheating. I don't mind the fact that she doesn't love her fiance. Or what her parents do or not do. I honestly do not think that I have hard limits when it comes to books. But!!!! Insta-love kind of bugs the crap out of me especially in this story. Insta-lust. Sure!!! Bring it on. But falling in love and living happily ever after, after knowing and having sex with a dude/chick 4-5 times is just...I don't know...Weird.
I get that it's fiction. I have nothing against it. But for me I think this was just too much. I expected more.
That being said I must give props to the author. Some of those sex scenes were fucking incredible. The writing was great...well aside from the fact that "fucking" and "horny" was used a lot but it's to be expected in that genre. The story drew me in and I did read it in one sitting.
I just wished it would have finished otherwise...
