Jesse Noble loves fast cars and even faster women. A professional race car driver, he's used to being in the driver's seat, until a devastating loss on the track forces him to walk away from the only life he's ever known. After months of rehab and soul-sucking depression, Jesse heads to his friend's place in Scotland, thinking a month or two of indulging in the fleshy delights of the Dungeon Fantasy Club will help him maneuver the road to recovery better than any painkillers.
Lucy Martin is the mistress and commander of her world. Labeled an 'Ice Queen' by her co-workers, she hides her tender and passionate heart from the world, even as she hopes to one day find a man who will help soothe her shattered heart. Now her best friend Zoey, the only person on the planet Lucy can confide in, has gone AWOL and left the country for some Scottish laird. On a mission to rescue her BFF, Lucy travels to Mulladoch Manor and has her world turned on its axis; finding herself in an exclusive BDSM club where she feels right at home.
When the dominant Jesse spies the luscious Lucy sporting four-inch stilettos and leather in the Dungeon Fantasy Club, he surrenders to a night of mind-blowing ecstasy, her caresses somehow driving away every one of his inner demons with supreme skill. In the race of his life, Jesse moves out of the driver's seat and willingly becomes her passenger – if only she'll continue tying him up and paddling his bare ass into the most erotically charged, world altering orgasms he's ever experienced.
When their past secrets are revealed, Jesse will have to convince Lucy to enter the fast lane with him – and prove that he's willing to submit to all of his Domme's utmost desires. Can he make the ultimate sacrifice and give up control – for love?
Publisher's Note: While this is the fourth installment of Anya Summer's Dungeon Fantasy Club series, like all the books in the series, it can be read as a standalone. It contains explicit sexual themes including anal play and BDSM elements, as well as femdom scenes. If such material offends you, please do not purchase.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Anya grew up listening to Cardinals baseball and reading anything she could get her hands on. She remembers her mother saying if only she would read the right type of books instead binging her way through the romance aisles at the bookstore, she’d have been a doctor. While Anya never did get that doctorate, she graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a M.A. in History.
Anya is a Bestselling and Award-Winning Author published in multiple fiction genres. She also writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance under the name, Maggie Mae Gallagher. A total geek at her core, when she is not writing, she adores attending the latest comic con or spending time with her family. She currently lives in the midwest with her two furry felines.
This book is every bit as good as the others in this excellent series. I highly recommend reading this series in order. This book is focused on Lucy, who we already know is Zoey's best friend, and Jesse, a new character. F/M is not what I usually read, but the series is so good that I had to read the book anyway. I now know that this book is not about a female Domme and a male sub. Like all the men we've encountered in the series, Jesse is a Dom. His life is on hold when he meets Lucy at Declan's place. The attraction between them is so strong, that he's willing to submit to her so they can have a session together. The erotic scenes were beyond smoking hot, yet heartwarming at the same time; Jesse was willing to suppress his Dom tendencies for Lucy and she understood what he was doing for her. The setting for most of the story is from the previous book and I loved the familiarity of it. I especially liked the scenes in which events occurred that I already knew about, but from a different perspective. The plot was masterfully done, with all the pieces fitting flawlessly together and things that shouldn't make sense working perfectly. The heart of the story, however, were the highly emotional issues and inner conflict that both Lucy and Jesse had to deal with. The magic of the healing power of their relationship put this book over the top.
I'm giving this book points for at least not being the usual where the Domme submits to the Dom because that is what the world thinks is the "natural" order of things. But that's really all I can give points for.
I didn't believe they'd fallen in love. Their every interaction was sexual. They had not one playful, fun interaction where they got to know about each other or registered shared interests. Then to create drama, the author pulled a Veronica from out of nowhere. Never previously seen or mentioned, she suddenly turns up in Scotland and has access to Jesse's room (because apparently being a guest at DFC the dungeon also means you also live in Declan's home? Instead of a hotel?) She's a total stereotype. Now that Jesse no longer needs her for prescriptions or sex, she's suddenly evil and petty and to blame for his mistakes and he can't figure out what he saw in her...typical. Add to that her bond villain dialogue of "I'm sorry you had to see him bedding me." Because all modern women use words like "bedding."
It was just a halfhearted attempt at creating characters with depth. Both Jesse and Lucy end with a lame discussion about who will dominate who based on who needs it more. I like D/s books that take the dominance outside of the bedroom. This was not that. There are barely any SCENES outside of a bedroom or DFC let alone anything else.
So, let's start off with and easy one: STOP FUCKING WRITING FEMALE DOMS AS ONLY DOMS BECAUSE THEY WERE ONCE ABUSED AND THAT'S THE ONLY WAY THEY'D WANT CONTROL!
Why do people write this way!? Stop handicapping your dominant female characters, and especially IF YOU'RE GOING TO WRITE A DOMINANT FEMALE CHARACTER, THEN LET HER BE DOMINANT, PERIOD. STOP MAKING HER SWITCH, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE GONNA USE ABUSE AS THE REASON FOR HER BEING DOMINANT!
If the character you're writing is a switch, fucking go for it! We love us a complex character with switchy tendencies!
But if she's a dom, then let her be one! You don't write your male Doms and then have them switch, why do you make your female characters do it?!
(yes I am aware that Jesse obviously switches in this book, but its still leaning hard into the stereotype of "she's a Dom until she meets the right guy, and then she has to be a switch if not an outright sub by the end of the book" which needs to die in a hole).
His Driven Domme By:Anya Summers Clash of The Dominants! What happens when two controlling Doms come together?! Sparks most certainly fly... Problem is, one of them has to give in & submit for the dynamic to work! Who's it going to be?! The Domme or the Dom?! Both want & need control for different reasons... is it more so for one than the other?! Things are definitely HOT during this Se*y battle for dominance where the ultimate prize is a HEA for the players involved! Come, One-Click, & take a peek inside this Anya Summers read; "His Driven Domme" is a great read & definitely worth your time ;) I already owned Anya Summers' "His Driven Domme" but agreed to review it via Booksprout for her; she's a talented author. I've enjoyed continuing this series & reading her books; thus, I'll gladly recommend them to others based upon their own merits. This series is definitely providing me another wonderful Reading Rabbit hole with hours of spectacular reading!! All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given. Until next time... Happy Reading!
.Some bad decisions made by our race car driver send his world around the bend, Jesse Noble knows it's time to hole up and take stock. He didn't realize how that one moment in time was going to strip him down to the core of his inner man, alter his purpose. Make him a hollowed out stranger to himself. Funny thing is that the worst thing to happen to Jesse, becomes the best thing for him. How to reconcile the duplicity of that statement brings him to his knees, literally. A proud, seasoned Dominant, Jesse arrives at Mullardoch Manor in Inverness, Scotland. His good mate, Declan McDougal invites him to stay with him and his fiancee, Zoey while he attempts to bring order to his life since the accident. It doesn't hurt that below the manor house is the exquisite Dungeon Fantasy Club. Perhaps a little kinky therapy with a hot subbie is just what the doctor ordered. Nothing feels the same, try as he might, he just can't get into the swing of things. (No pun intended :)) Meanwhile, Zoey Mills, Declan's submissive and bride to be, is in deep turmoil. Her kid sister, Ophelia isn't talking to her, but her bff, Lucy Martin has decided to come to Scotland and haul her back to California. Upon arriving at Mullardoch Manor, she is convinced her friend, Zoey is where she needs to be. All fears allayed, she joins in some of the wedding preparations, and dabbles in the Dungeon Fantasy Club. As a Domme, she looks to find a sub to spend her time with and meets Jesse. Heat surrounds them as they trade banter at the bar. He wants her, she wants him, but both being Dominants is a recipe for disaster. Like two poles of a magnet that should never mesh, they size one another up. Who will submit? It's crazy, and yet...so enticing. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the passion and genuine journey of two wounded people who together make one complete soul moved me.
Jesse is a Dom, he meets Lucy, a Domme in the Dungeon Fantasy Club. Jesse feels something he hasn't felt since his accident on the racetrack, desire. Lucy feels an attraction to Jesse but she is a Domme and hasn't got a submissive bone in her body, this could never work. Jesse realizes he hasn't got a chance with Lucy unless he can find it in himself to let go and see if he can submit to Lucy. They agree to give a session together a try and Jesse learns that the dynamics of surrender are rewarding and helped him learn to control or at least forget about his sad state in life. I loved how Lucy told him he could not orgasm unless she gave him permission, that is a go to control issue male dominants use on their female subs, it was very rewarding to see a man have to learn control! Lucy is only visiting Scotland to try and get her friend Zoey to go back ito the states with her, so her time there is limited. Jesse is there to see his old friend Declan who is to marry Zoey. There are complications of course, besides a Dom and a Domme trying to make things work between them, there is a lawsuit against Jesse for the accident he caused and Lucy has some old and strong reasons why she must have control. The whole iDomme/Dom thing had to be resolved and I totally enjoyed the surrender of Jesse and the thoughtful consideration Lucy had for her sub/dom partner. I was really worried about reading a Domme book where the female dominates the male but Anya Summers made it work for me and I can see myself reading more on the subject. In the end this book deserves more than 5 stars if I could give them!!!
Normally, I don't read books about Dommes, much preferring the male version. Before you pass over this book because you want to read about a Dominant man and submissive woman, take a closer look. The story centers around a race car driver who has an accident, severely injuring another driver. He also happens to be a Dom, but has lost his mojo since the accident. Enter one feisty Domme redhead. You would think this relationship a doomed Dommes/Dom couple, right? Not necessarily. What happens if one of the Doms switches? It's actually a story about being stronger than you think. This is true for both of the Dominants in this story but each is unique in what lessons they each learn and how their own conflicts are resolved.
Obviously, this is yet another wonderful example of Anya Summers' stellar writing. She's created a wonderful series of books, with strong characters in situations beyond the obvious D/s dynamic. Each book is standalone with no HEA and no cliffhanger. The characters appear throughout the series, and each of the couples have their own book devoted to their story. It's a lot of fun when one particular scene involves characters from more than one book. You get the opportunity to read it from multiple perspectives! Think of it as a drinking game where you take a drink every time you recognize a character from another book.
I highly recommend this book, this series and this author to all readers enjoying BDSM romance stories. Each book is a hot, sexy romp into the lifestyle with interesting stories that highlight the kink without judgment.
Before you go any further, read Anya Summers' 'His Driven Domme' blurb. Zoey is Lucy's best friend. They have shared almost every detail of each other's lives with each other. So when Zoey announced she was getting married in Scotland and Lucy wouldn't see her regularly anymore, she decided to enact the pact they had made in the sixth grade, and off to Scotland she went. There were several things when she arrived that she did not expect. One, was Zoey being in love with Declan and was deliriously happy. Two, not only was Declan exceedingly rich and handsome but he treated her best friend like she was the most precious thing in the Universe. And three, finding out there was a BDSM club in the lower level of the manor and she wouldn't have to hide who she was. Jesse has always been a Dom but has lost interest in almost everything since the accident, including any excitement over being able to scene with a sub. That is until he saw Lucy walk into The Dungeon Fantasy Club. What surprised Jesse was his being attracted physically and mentally to a Domme! Ms. Summers has been able to take two broken individuals and find a way for them to come together and bring the best out of each other. Nothing comes easy and I felt like I walked the journey with great characters but in the end, it was a phenomenal read.
This is the story of Jesse and Lucy, both dominants and both at a crossroad. For Jesse, guilt and the unknown. For Lucy, life and lifestyle changes. Jesse needs something different. Lucy requires submission from her partners. Both need healing and peace and acceptance of whole parts of who they are and what life has brought them to and through. Both were interested in something temporary, something new. Both running from their pasts and running from fear and expectations yet craving more for themselves and from each other.
Will Lucy's allow her past to keep her from the love she could find in Jesse's arms? Can Jesse move past temporary submission to give Lucy what she truly needs? Can Lucy look past her own issues and trust Jesse? Will Lucy be courageous enough to look beyond her own desires, needs and wants to give Jesse what he needs? Will their pasts be insurmountable in their own minds keeping them from the love they never expected?
This was a well written book, addressing how our past moves us into our future, how it shapes our decisions and impacts those around us. The only negative comment would be Jesse and Lucy did not have a conversation about boundaries and limits prior to engaging in D/s scenes.

How does a Dom learn to submit? Jesse is at the lowest point of his life, emotionally and professionally, and all he wants is to escape into the arms of a sub and forget his troubles. But trouble shows up at the club in the form of Lucy, a determined Domme who challenges everything Jesse believes. Their attraction is instant, but the conflict is obvious to everyone.
Lucy has her reasons for choosing the role of a Domme, and she's not going to submit to any man, ever. How these two work out their differences and find common ground makes for a beautiful love story with more heat than a raging forest fire! They each learn important truths about themselves and their desire for control, as they develop the trust necessary to hand over that control in order to get what they need from each other. This story really delves into the Dom/sub roles, who really has control, and when is it beneficial to see things from the other person's point of view. The author gets right to the heart of the matter, and does it so well that this book is utterly captivating and a non-stop read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Love this book and the series This is the fourth book in the Dungeon Fantasy series. We meet Lucy, Zoey’s friend. Anya’s has taken a little twist with Lucy’s story. She needs to be in control. Most men cant deal with her needs so she has hid herself and avoids Jesse is a racecar driver with a problem. His problem devastated him and another driver’s lives. Declan’s his friend and sponsor and is trying to help him get his life back on track. Jesse feels off he cant seem to find the pleasure he used to as a Dom. Enter Lucy into his life. They are attracted to each other but can a Dom and a Domme form a lasting relationship? Jesse decides to try and convince Lucy. Her characterizations of the hero and heroine are accurate and interesting. I appreciate that through out the series Anya makes sure to be accurate when crossing story lines between two books. It has some incredible sexy salacious bdsm scenes with Lucy and Jesse. I can’t wait to read the rest of the Dungeon Fantasy Club series.
A fated series that will leave you leave you wanting more! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Lucy’s story who is Kara’s best friend. Lucy thinks she can convince her friend to return to California with her, though as soon as she gets there, she discovers it is a lost cause and actually likes her fiancé. Though to discover Kara is a sub, and that there is a club in the castle, sets the stage for Lucy meeting Jesse. Jesse is hiding at his friend’s castle after his bad decision on the race track that paralyzed another driver for life and struggling with who he is at heart, but when he meets Lucy, his body jumps to life! Lucy controls their encounters as her survival from her past, and won’t let this lead to something permanent. When she learns that she forgot to think about what her sub needs, it sinks in that maybe they could have something more. When Jesse leaves to deal with the outcome of his accident and his undetermined future, he never expects to see Lucy again. How will it all end? You have to read to find out
I'm not usually a fan of Domme stories. There have only been a few that I have enjoyed, and that is because I loved the series they were part of. When I first say this one I actually skipped it and moved on to the next book in the series. However, there were some things mentioned in the next book that confused me so I decided to give this one a chance. I am very glad that I did. This story isn't the typical D/s story since both characters are dominant, but somehow the beauty of that conundrum works perfectly. Watching Lucy and Jesse figure out how to make their romance work around both of their needs was very touching. It wasn't just the physical needs, but also the emotional ones, that made this story so beautiful. This story took turns that I wasn't expecting and ended in a beautiful HEA that made my heart sigh with pleasure. I am so glad that I didn't let the fact that it is a Domme turn me away from this wonderful roller-coaster of a story!
Jesse is a race car driver who makes 1 bad decision that could cost him everything that he cares about. His conscious eating at his soul, he escapes the press & paparazzi by visiting his friend, Declan, owner of the DFC (Dungeon Fantasy Club). This is novel 4 in the series.
Jesse can’t seem to get back into his role as a Dom, no matter how many pretty subs are around him. In walks Lucy, who is loud and brash and a Domme herself. She bows to no one, due to her past. Jesse is instantly smitten, no matter how many times she tells him that Dom & Domme relationships don’t work. He offers himself as a sub and she’s intrigued.
If you’re over 18 & interested in reading about the BDSM lifestyle, give this book & author a try. My only criticism is that she needs a new word for when one of her characters climaxes - hers makes me laugh every time.

Jesse is a race car driver who causes a bad racing accident after he takes prescribed pain killers. Months later, he still feels guilty about the accident and the guilt has even made it difficult to enjoy being a Dom. He is visiting Declan and Zoey when Lucy arrives to save her best friend from making a mistake by marrying Declan. Lucy comes to realise that Zoey and Declan belong together, but that leaves her all alone again.
Lucy decides to visit the club, but she is a Domme, not a sub. The man who attracts her is Jesse, but how can a Dom and a Domme pair up together? This book was a different slant on BDSM. Both main characters are haunted by incidents from their pasts. It is based in the familiar setting of the Dungeon Fantasy Club, with the same characters as a backing cast, but it reads fine as a standalone story.
I can't resist books by this author.

Lucy is upset her best friend has decided to stay in Scotland, and get married. Lucy goes there to try and talk sense into her friend. Instead Lucy realizes that her friend is deliriously happy. Lucy also discovers that her best friends new home is also a bdsm club. She use to be a domme many years before, but has kept that part of her life hidden deep within herself. She meets Jesse, a dominant face car driver at the club. There's sexual chemistry, but can Jesse be a submissive? He's willing to try, in order to be with Lucy. Can they really work things out? Is Lucy strong enough to share her past, in order to heal her soul? Such a great story! Sometimes when you've been abused, you find anyway you can to make sense of it all, and in Lucy's case she had to be in control. Can Jesse let her?
Jesse is a professional race car driver who is in Scotland to visit a friend at his estate/BDSM club while dealing with the fallout of a recent car crash. Lucy, a Domme, is visiting her best friend with hopes of convincing her to return home to the US. When Jesse and Lucy meet, they are immediately attracted, but since they are both Doms, they wonder if there is a future for them. Jesse agrees to some scenes as a submissive because it helps with his recent issues. Can they find a D/s balance that works while also dealing with the fact that they live on two separate continents?
This book is well-written, but a bit predictable. There are some passionate D/s scenes and side dramas with other guests. Some readers may find it disappointing that the MCs are using BDSM to compensate for significant traumas rather than just because they enjoy it. Overall, an entertaining read.

Lucy and Zoey have been friends since school. She couldn't believe her BFF meets a man in Scotland and told Lucy she was not coming home. Lucy had to go over to Scotland to talk her friend out of the mess Lucy seems to think Zoey is in with Declan. Jesse since an accident that left another driver paralyzed and may be banned for life from Formula One Racing. Jesse gets addicted to drugs which almost finished his career. When Lucy met Jesse they felt the dominance in each other. How can a Dom and Domme be so attracted to each. Can Jesse turn over his control and submit to Lucy? Will there be a lesson in not only dominance but the full gift of full submission. Will there be a change in there dynamics.
Both Jesse and Lucy are strong dominant people who had let life lead them toward a path that was on a collusion course with each other. Lucy had trauma in her life at a young age and again in her college years that gave her a hard edge. Jesse had let his common sense get overruled by someone who should have been looking out for him but instead used his pain to further her own needs. Together they work to overcome barriers and miscommunications that strive to keep them apart.
A well executed story containing a message that if we are willing to give our trust to the right person, we will be rewarded. That there are good people still out there if we just give them a chance.
Jesse is a race car driver and Dom who had a wreck on the track, Lucy is a Domme who has come to Scotland to stop her best friend from making what she feels is a mistake. When they meet sparks fly. Due to Lucy's past she can't stand to be dominated. However Jesse is a Dom who is broken and finds that he likes being dominated by Lucy. When she walks in to his room and finds his former sub on his bed and him coming out of the shower she assumes the worst and tells him off. He leaves to go find out his punishment from the racing world only to have her figure out she loves him and wants to try and make their relationship work, so goes after him.

I found this book to be quite unique and in being so surprisingly delightful. Jesse and Lucy are both dominates. So seeing him being willing to surrender control to Lucy was emotional and also very different from the norm. With a powerful attraction, sizzling chemistry, and an emotion laden storyline, this book grabs and keeps your interest easily and well. These characters both have very heavy emotional baggage that they are struggling to deal with and that adds great depth to them. After one amazing time together, can these two wounded people find a way to meet both their needs and embrace a HEA? I'm posting a totally honest, voluntary review after reading this book.
Once you start reading this book it is unputdownable
Anya Summers set the so bar so high with the first in this series (The Dungeon Fantasy Club Book 1: Her Highland Master), then sailed right over it with each subsequent book especially this! I was on steam overload while reading this book. Ms. Summers weaves a story that would hit anyone with all the feels and takes it up a notch with the way she brings the characters to life. I enjoyed reading about the 2 doms and their struggle with one of them having to submit to the other in the face of their attraction.

Lucy is Zoey’s best friend (characters in earlier Highland books). Lucy visits Scotland to check on her friend when sparks fly between her and Jessie. Jessie is a Formula One race car driver who is on suspension because of an accident he caused while driving under the influence of prescription drugs. While they both have pasts they are trying to overcome, their BDSM needs are also in conflict... they are both Doms. Great story. I like that the author's books continue by developing characters we have enjoyed in previous books.

An interesting romance.❤️️
Jessie is a racecar driver trying to recover from an injury and making poor choices. He also happens to be a Dom. Lucy is a friend trying to make sense of her new world... one that means she's going to be alone a lot more than she already is. Lucy also has been so focused on her job that she's been repressing an essential part of herself, the fact that she is a Domme. That shouldn't work... a Dom and a Domme? Oh, my! The heat between these two is blazing hot and the emotional connection is swoon-worthy.💞🔥💦
The fourth book in the Dungeon Fantasy Club series and it was different than the others I think this is my favorite so far.Jesse Noble is hiding out after an accident on the racetrack that he caused. Lucy Martin has come to Scotland to Mulladoch Manor to bring Zoey Mills her best friend home as she thinks she is not really in love with Declan McDougal but can see that they are really in love.Lucy decides to stay for awhile and she meets Jesse the interaction between these two had me turning pages I had to know what was going to happen. I would recommend this book as well as this whole series.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I absolutely love how this is intertwined with the first 3 books! I love that I got Lucy’s story finally!! Her as a Domme didn’t surprise just because of how she commanded and demanded respect in the previous stories when mentioned. I fell in love with her here tho! I am so excited she opened up and let down her walls. I think Jesse’s ride was crazy. I am glad he survived the accident but am sad to see that his stupid choices cost him his career and almost cost him Lucy! Loved it! Can’t wait to see who we meet and learn about next!

Two people you would never expect to work. A Dom and a Domme, who will submit. Miss Summers has done a good job with these two, so far my favourite couple in the series. Lucy has come all the way to try and talk her friend Zoey into coming back home, however fate has a way of changing plans and after meeting Jesse, it seems that there may be a reason for everything after all. Jesse and Lucy both have harsh backgrounds an demons to overcome, but nothing is impossible and the author way with words certainly place them in each others path to make it work.

Lucy is Zoey’s best friend and she flies to Scotland to put some sense into her friend’s head. However, she sees her friend with Declan, she knows it is a lost battle. Jesse is a Formula One racer who had an accident under the influence of some painkillers and as a result of it, he got a partner disabled for life. This is my favourite book by Anya Summers so far. The book is different from the others because this time both of the main characters are Doms. It is difficult to surrender and lose control in favor of the other person. It is good to see how they fight with themselves and their need of controlling. A great series to read for lovers of BDSM.
Olivia doesn’t trust many people, but never men, she is in control and when her best friend announces she is getting married and staying in Scotland, she will have none of that and plans to hogtie her and bring her home.
I so enjoyed reading this book again. Warning for for those with childhood triggers. Strong female lead who opens her heart to the possibilities of love but most importantly trust. This dynamic couple is amazing, the way Jesse is so willing to give her what she needs to be strong, yet open to him. I love it.
