We all have that one person who changes us forever. Leslie is a single girl from Baltimore. As a self described "happy dater", Leslie enjoys her life in Baltimore, where she works two jobs and recently decided to return to school. That is, until on a day when Leslie decides to hit the streets of DC for some shopping, and she meets "him". He is a man whose whole persona far exceeds any name that anyone could give him. From the moment Leslie meets him, she must have him and, at the same time, knows she should walk away from him. He is the man that the whole city knows. Although he has full access to a whole city and all the women in it, he wants Leslie. The more he gets to know Leslie, the more attracted he becomes to the first woman to want him for him and not his money. As he senses that Leslie is beginning to doubt him and his lifestyle, he gives her a million reasons to believe in him. Their union is a relationship that dreams are made of; two people drawn to each other and making every effort to show the other their true feelings. But when the ugly truths of his lifestyle is revealed, and the pressure of being the girlfriend of the man who refuses to take no for an answer becomes almost too much for Leslie to bare, she questions if her Mr. Wonderful will be hers forever. Just as Leslie thinks that things will be different and she has restored faith the relationship that she wants more than anything, things change and Leslie is left with nothing but hatred and a taste for his blood. She's not letting anything or anyone stand in the way of quenching that thirst, and she finds out that you never know what you are capable of until you are pushed to your limits.

1st read by Leasa. I thought the relationship between Leslie & "Him" though odd, seemed like a dream come true for her. At times, his lavish gifts had me wondering if he had an ulterior motive. Nikki was my favorite character. Well written, detailed storyline did have suspenseful moments that kept me reading for the majority of the day. Good read.

First things first...Did anybody edit this book?! Whoever did needs to be fired so I can have their job! LMBO This was a new author for me; whom happens to be my brother's friend.(thanks for the book bro) I really liked her flow of writing. Now the story was a little unbelievable but it held my attention all the way through. In fact, I did skip to the back to see what was gonna happen in the end.(just couldn't wait!) Ok, here is the story in a nutshell; girl meets dude who is a "boss" and he treated her so good but broke her in the process that she thought she wanted to be a "boss" or the "boss" he was. In the end she realized "bossing" didn't give her the feel she thought she was gonna have. Oh just read the book!!! LOL

Engaging

Okay I have been totally blown away by this story. To say that this a gut twisting take of two mixed up people.I am so not liking Leslie who is the heroine in this story, first you come off like you are Voss chick handling business when along you are actually weak. Some of the things and decisions she's made are just way ridiculous and just plane nasty. The overall story is good and storyline is well thought out.The writer moves the story at a pace and you don't get any down time.An excellent story and can't wait for the next installment.

Him by Leasa was a very engaging read. From the length I figured it would be a stand alone but there will be a part 2. And yes, I will read it because I need to know what happens with Leslie. How will she handle her new found fame and fortune. Will Nikki find out all the truths that Leslie has been hiding? I hate that the relationship ended the way that it did, but if she really knew Boss then she would have known what he was doing. There were a few grammatical errors but not enough to take away from the story.
