As Biz fights to protect and keep what’s his, Lela unknowingly falls for his supplier and head of the Cuban drug Cartel, Ramone Roc Escobar. Not only is Escobar more powerful than Biz, he is much more dangerous. As their secret romance develops the dangers of the streets increase putting Lela in life and death situations.
A Hustler’s Weakness is combined with romance, humor and suspense that will keep you turning pages as you become intertwined into the lives of the Vaughn family.
I was born in Chicago and raised in Harvey Il, a small town minutes away from the city. As a child, I loved reading and writing short stories, and grew up very fond of African American literature, and arts.
At the age of 27, I studied nursing at Brown Mackie College for License Practical Nurse. It was then that I found my love for urban novels. The first novel I've read was by the best seller Keisha Ervin, and hadn't stopped reading since. Through inspiration from my literary sisters and a good friend who is also an accomplished author, I wrote and published my first book, "A Hustla's Weakness."
I actually end up reading this series backwards but I am loving it. Biz is taking care of business with all the obstacles that are being thrown his way. I cannot wait for part 2 I hope dre & Quentin isn’t on no shady stuff that would be tragic. But the Escobar brothers seem to be in for the Business with their new family
This book was so good!! The characters are well described, it has street smart as well as educated couples. I love the group of girls and how they are true friends that stand together no matter what. Roc is bae and Biz is crazy but it's about to be war in the streets over his sister!
Man, I don't even know where to start, Tee was my favorite she was the definition of ride or die, Ms.Rita was funny as hell,Lela bossed all the way up, I love Roc for her, last but not least Shana and Fabian need to make it official, i'm on to book 2...
