Excellent stories of the marriage mart with twists and turns. I was stuck at an airport waiting for a plane that arrived 2 hours late, so 4 long hours with nothing to do. Another 40 minutes on the runway and an hour for the flight. Thankfully I brought my Kindle and I had already completed the first book, about a loveless marriage and finding a late love, which was good. I was in the middle of the second book about a naive, young but wealthy girl attending her first season in the shadow of her beautiful sister, which I completed before the flight. I then started to read the third book about the half sister to the previous main character of the second book who was born on the wrong side of the blanket, who wasn’t supposed to mix with the rich and titled, but did. This one I finished the next day after the flight. I’m impressed with this author and thankful to have had her imagination to tap into on my long travel day.

Sisters and other strangers

Living in the same small town are two sets of sisters very near the same age. That, and having the same father, are where their similarities diverge. The Lord who fathered them was in love with the mother of his illegitimate daughters and spent most of his free time in their modest home. The girls whom society would know as his own were lavished with all the splendor and grandeur associated with a noble family.
This set brings together the first three books in the series which will make you long to read the last two books, the rest of their stories! Enjoy!

Good

I found this a good book. All 3 books interlinked from the start. Her gilded prison is good as it sets the world up well and provides intrigue. Dangerous gentlemen shows how these times are not easy for young ladies enjoying their come out. The Mysterious governess shows a different side of the period with how far people will go with courage and intelligence on their side.

Only read 7 ch of first

I am giving a neutral review because it isn't the author's fault the book is contrary to my taste. I expected more story but it is very sexually driven and lacking in character and relationship beyond that. I gave up at ch 7 of the first book in the set.
