Nick Snow is a straight virgin in a frozen post-apocalyptic world. Half dead and suffering from hypothermia, he is rescued by seven scorching hot men. Each will take his turn trying to thaw Nick's icy inhibitions. But which man will be able to inflame his passions and ultimately melt his heart? This is a complete story. No cliffhangers. This book is for adults only. It contains graphic descriptions of hot man on man action and naughty language. Enjoy!
Once he got to the door, Ethan stopped and turned back to look at Nick lying on the bed. He could tell from his even breathing that he was already fast asleep. He seemed so innocent, Ethan thought. Worried and uncertain, he left the room to find James. “I’m just not sure, James,” Ethan said standing in James’s quarters facing him. “He’s been through hell these past couple of days. He lost his father. It just doesn’t feel right to me.” “You’re a good man, Ethan, and you care about people. It’s what makes you a good physician. But I’m responsible for the well-being and morale of everyone in the Compound. We have rules. We all voted. Besides, look how everything worked out with Nathan.” “I know. It’s just—” James stopped whatever Ethan was about to say with a hard kiss. Surprised Ethan’s mouth opened, and James’s tongue took advantage. He swirled his tongue against Ethan’s as he pushed him down onto the couch. Ethan’s arms wrapped around him to keep from falling and brought James down on top of him. They continued kissing while they undressed each other. When they were both naked, James rushed to his bedroom to get a bottle of oil. Ethan was stroking himself lying on the couch when he returned. He crawled up on the couch and lifted one of Ethan’s long hairy legs over his muscular shoulder exposing Ethan’s hole. First one, then two fingers, James lubricated and stretched his anus for entry. Ethan let his head fall back onto the arm of the couch as James’s thick cock entered his hot ass. Had anything ever felt this good? He didn’t think so. It had been some weeks since they had been together like this, and Ethan couldn’t remember why he had been so worried about Nick. Just like James said, everything would work out.
Mounting Snow is the first book in my series—A Crack in the Post-Apocalyptic Tales of Man-Love.
This was my second time reading this book. Nick Snow is a straight virgin in a frozen post-apocalyptic world. Half dead and suffering from hypothermia, he is rescued by seven hot men. Each will take his turn with him. This book was like warm to me. The book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.
Argh, so many questions...so much confusion. I still don't understand the necessity for so many men to be forced into sexual relations with each other (painted as "voluntary" but to stay in the safety of the compound everyone had to do it...which is dubcon at best) - ESPECIALLY since more than half of them were straight! Not even a "fuck or die" situation to justify it. Just some weird way to keep everyone sexed up at the end of the world (where there are no women for some reason) and mitigate jealousy (?)...because testosterone? IDEK.
I appreciated the attempt at a rational explanation for what sent the climate into a downward spiral (even if it was sort of on the iffy side of science). But the characters were flat. All of them. Which is a shame because there was real potential here. An ex con, a widower, a sheltered virgin, a military commander and an established couple...and that last one is what had me confused the most. If they liked having a third or had an open relationship or something I could get behind the multiple partners, but it seemed like something each of the men in that couple just endured to be safe rather than a fun addition to their sex lives. And then by adding this new guy (Snow) there was an even number & it appeared that everyone had a potential long-term partner...but nothing was said about stopping the lottery.
Plus, ugh, the sex wasn't even that hot or titillating. Sounded like torture for a good number of the encounters.
Hate to say it's been done better (if in a completely different end-of-the-world scenario) in ACG's Strain Series, but yeah.
