劉氏女

寫在前面

我在監獄蹲了十年，和女犯們日出而作，日落而息，從二十六歲到三十六歲——比某些夫妻的婚齡長，比很多小倆口還親。那裡，外表平靜如鏡，其實，終日翻江倒海。

每個犯人都有經歷，而經歷就是故事。不少女囚進了監獄，又有了新的故事。《劉氏女》是其中之一則。一九八○年，我把劉氏女的故事講給吳祖光聽。聽後，他在客廳走來走去，激動地對我說：「詒和，把你剛才說的，落到紙上，就是中篇。趕快寫吧！」

三十年後，我把她「落到紙上」了。但吳祖光先生已去世多年，大概真的「劉氏女」也走了。

我不寫政治，不說制度，筆墨集中表達女囚的命運，窺探她們的內心。這是我的一次嘗試，嘗試寫小說。很吃力，也很賣力，用盡氣力也未必好，但我會繼續下去。

The book itself is interesting and mostly enjoyable, although with somewhat grotesque details. The translation however (I read it in Swedish) was pretty bad. Words are missing and the grammar is filled with errors. If possible, I'd read it in it's original language or maybe translated to another language (such as English).
