The thing is, when even the one person who's supposed to love you and be there for you no matter what, chooses somebody else before you - how are you supposed to trust anyone else? In the end, when people find something better or they got what they want, they'll leave you.
So I'd thought - until him.
Loving him was as easy as breathing and taking the risk to trust him something I never had to regret. I showed him my scars and wounds, shared my darkest secrets and he stayed. He didn't give up on me.
He didn't treat me like I'm something that needs to be fixed.
Being with him made me realize something, I don't have to pretend to be someone I am not to make him stay. I could be myself. I could let myself fall.
Damien didn't change me - he brought me back to life.
Jessica M. S. is an Austrian author with a lifelong love for stories, complicated characters, and the kind of romances that stay with you long after the last page.
After spending years getting lost in books, she eventually realized she didn’t just want to read stories—she wanted to create them, too.
She writes contemporary romance about imperfect people, messy emotions, chosen family, and relationships that feel real. Her stories are filled with banter, chemistry, vulnerability, and the quiet moments that make falling in love feel inevitable.
When she isn’t writing, she can usually be found reading, overthinking fictional people, or already planning the next story before the current one is finished.
4.5 stars. I loved this book! It's just completely swoon worthy from start to finish!! Noelle and Damien sweep you off of your feet in this whirlwind of romance and laughter. They didn't waste anytime, and I loved that nothing got in their way. You have no choice but to let yourself fall with them. I literally laughed so hard at certain points in the story I had tears in my eyes. Noelle is life, seriously! The book just made me believe maybe you can find true love. I guess if anything it gave me hope.
Wow. I'm not sure if I ever would have read this book unless the beautiful Jessy Harlow sent it to me but boy am I grateful she did. From the very first chapter I was hooked. I love Jessy's writing style and it felt like I really got into the character's heads and learnt a lot from them at the same time.
Noelle is such a strong and powerful woman, she doesn't let anyone get away with anything unkind. Damien has worked so hard to get where he is but is still very modest and is not afraid to show his caring side. Noelle and Damien really take no time at all to get to know each other but it's written in such a way that you feel it's natural and meant to be. Some of their scenes together were steamy to say the least ;) I loved how the characters each had their own struggles but trusted each other to share their secrets and overcome them in a realistic way. The twists and turns that occurred kept me intrigued and were such an interesting element to the story. You never guess what's coming next and feel just as surprised, shocked or scared as each of the characters do. Both the story and characters were unlike anything I've ever read before which is refreshing and very much welcomed. I laughed (which is rare for me while reading) and cried and felt like I had traveled the same journey the characters had. It's definitely given me a book-hangover.
I loved this so much, if you're even just considering reading it, please pick it up and read it asap you wont regret it.
IM DYING (Ok not actually) but like holy mother of idjits this book caught me by surprise (in a good way). Let Yourself Fall is written by JessyHarlow who asked me to read her novel. At first, I was a little suspicious. But then I started reading and I felt like I got jump-scared by amazing talent because BRUH. The book was not what I thought it was going to be. It was beyond sexy (that may or may not have made me drool. Or whatever.) plot twists were just on point, and the sentences and words that were used made the story very enjoyable. Damian is literally a babe, I would tap that any day (but I won't and I can't because you can't do anything with fictional characters because they're fictional. But damn honey if they were REAL. I'd slither into the sun.)
Anyways, for this review I would definitely give this a 13/15 <3
I really liked this book. It's not your typical love story. Damien and Noelle are meant for each other in every way. They throw themselves into the relationship head first. They don't care about the right and wrong ways a relationship is supposed to go...they love each other and do things their way. Its pretty exciting.
