Dreams of Gaia Tarot: A Tarot For a New Era

Rate this book
A Tarot for a New Era. , 81 Full Col Cards & 308 Page Guidebook.

The philosophy of the 'Dreams of Gaia Tarot' is simple: to seek, to feel, to grow, to heal. This deck will strengthen your connection to your divine self, whilst helping you to identify and heal past experiences that hold you back from living to your fullest potential.

Learn to recognise when times of growth and change are approaching, and face them with confidence and a sense of anticipation. Learn when to take action, and when to be still. Learn to trust in your intuition.

By offering structure in the form of a major and minor arcana like that of past tarots, but combining them with bold new archetypes, symbology, and meanings more suited to the present, the 'Dreams of Gaia Tarot' allows for a more personal, intimate, and effective system for using cards as a roadmap to navigate your life path. Embark on this extraordinary journey of undoing, of being, and becoming, and be inspired by the knowledge that all that manifests in your future is born of choices you make today.

Although this was an exceptional guidebook, the creator did not spend any time explaining the images. She merely provided a meaning for each card. Personally, when someone creates a deck that does not follow any known system and does not have any traditional imagery, I prefer to have the imagery I'm looking at explained. Very few of the images told the story of what the creator wrote. It was a bit frustrating and will make it that much more difficult to get to know this deck.

Dreams of Gaia Tarot Deck, as significantly addresed to be a brand new remake not like any traditional Tarot deck before. "Seek, feel, grow, heal" - the deck serves exactly what it's destined to do. From the fancy dreamy mystic look of the cards, to the philosophies written in the book, if you're a person who loves spending time on self-development, with the mindset of "the best investment is in yourself", this whole package suits you! You will find yourself reflecting on every influences you made, are making or will make as you read the explainations of the cards. Wise words and advisory tone of writing, Ravynne Phelan and her creative work did change my way of thinking and re-evaluate my own beliefs and values in life. Good book!

This book was great I love it my mom got it for me for my birthday and it really helped me a lot in life and soon I'm going to be doing a side business. I like doing reading for people its fun I do it with friends or family. I love when the customers come back to me in a few months or so and it turns up different and I have them or me take a picture so I can see if they changed or not. and the cards them self I still have to learn them I'm still a beginner but I can do it, it's just that I need to start learning to not use the book and remember the cards by memory. I like how the deck is set up but my favorite is the dreamer's tree but I don't get to use it all the time because that's not what the cards tell me I love this book very much and if there are people that like doing you should do it.

This book and its accompanying deck have been, in a word, transformative. The guidebook has really helped me to understand some of my motivations, desires, and the steps I can take to make substantive change in my life.

The artwork is definitely beautiful, but the real power comes from the framework that the book gives you to examine your life without judgement.

I absolutely love this and can't thank the author enough.

This is the only tarot deck I have had so far that I really connect with. It feels kismet. The art is gorgeous, the guidebook is awesome. It just has so much more depth than other tarot I've had.

Some decks I purchased in the past felt very flat and shallow. This is the opposite. Mystical, magical, earthy, deep, full of wisdom and creativity.

This is a beautiful deck and well descriptive, just a little to descriptive.
I found alot of the explaining of each cards repeated it self and the shadow/reversed descriptions on some were basically the same as the upright ones. Just a quick summary would of been better and more engaging.

This is a wonderful take on a Tarocle deckm It rides the fine line of being a Tarot deck and an Oracle deck. This is definitely a deck that will lend itself to shadow work and self-healing. It has a very ancestral feel to it, inviting you to let go of the past, confront the truths you are afraid to and one that will pick you up and dust you off when you stumble. I am devoting a journal to this deck exclusively, due to its departure from a traditional RW dogma. I have forever loathed the RW deck, so it was a nice departure from the rinse, wash and repeat of the RW clone decks. Cardstock is utter shite, the artwork is phenomenal and really deserved a higher quality cardstock. This is another MASSIVE tarot deck, much like the Mary-El Tarot, so if you have small hands, riffle shuffling will prove problematic.
