An interesting second book. I like the way the story is progressing. You start to see Wang Lin change from a village boy to a cultivator in terms of mind set. Good stuff.

Really dark. I know his family died, but did he really need to do a genocide and make a literal pyramid of skulls? Seems unnecessarily edgelordy.
