HOT SEAL Rescue (HOT SEAL Team #3) by Lynn Raye Harris

With a Lynn Raye Harris i expect several things:
• There are going to be a lot of hot, alpha guys with protective instincts [many of whom you’ve met in previous books] in the plot and the hero will be front and center.
• The heroine will be in jeopardy but NOT a shrinking violet or a whiner, she’ll be up front and doing her best – which is usually pretty damned good.
• There will be bad guys who deserve what they get.
• There are going to be a LOT of page turning action scenes, both in and out of the bedroom – scenes that keep you on the edge of your seat and up past your normal bedtime.
• There will be stubborn refusals to admit the truths of their relationships and emotional, heart-touching moments between the hero and heroine when the light finally dawns.

So how does HOT SEAL Rescue stack up? It nails every one of them.

Our hero is Cody "Cowboy" McCormick and the heroine is CIA agent Miranda Lockwood. Miranda ‘kidnaps’ our hero by sticking a gun in his side and he goes along with it because she looks like she’s in trouble. And she is, of course, and some of the trouble is caused by her decisions throughout the book. Trying to avoid spoilers here but there are blown covers, hot sex, deaths [faked and otherwise], CIA moles, differing agendas, hurt feelings, and a truly satisfying happily ever after.

Thank you Ms. Harris, it’s another winner. I loved it.

And I'm back!

Lynn Raye Harris is filled with magic. MAGIC I tells ya! How else would it be possible for the woman to keep coming up with these sexy military heroes that are hotter than the last? I've devoured her Hostile Operations Team series and she's got another huge winner with the spin-off, HOT Seal Team.

If you haven't read the HOT series yet, no worries, you can easily read this series first and enjoy each book as a standalone. That being said, I highly recommend each book in both this series and HOT, so you won't want want to miss it.

Harris has a knack for writing strong, kick-ass heroines, and Miranda Jane is certainly no exception. A CIA agent that's undercover to bring to justice the man that killed her mentor, she finds herself in hot water when her identity is compromised. So what's a girl to do? Kidnap the nearest badass looking man in the Vegas hotel lobby at gun point, of course. Unbeknownst to her, the man she thinks is not just badass looking, but really IS a badass. Navy SEAL Cody knows he can disarm the woman that's holding a gun to him in seconds, but his curiosity gets the best of him when he sees the desperation shadow in her eyes. What begins is a whole lot of awesome!

Miranda Jane wasn't delicate or useless. She was beautiful and lethal. And sexier than fuck, damn her.

I love that Harris is always able to combine amazing story telling, with heart pounding suspense and wrap it around an extremely sexy and satisfying romance. And boy was this sexy! I loved me some cowboy Cody. Cody is easy going and first to laugh, but he's so intense with Miranda. I couldn't get enough of it. Miranda was the perfect combination of vulnerable and strong. No one writes an awesome heroine quite like this author.

Why had he gotten to her? He was just a man she'd abducted in a casino so she could escape Victor Conti. A random stranger- and now he was in her system so deep she didn't think she'd ever get him out.

Hot Seal Rescue was another huge winner for me. Each time I finish a book by Lynn Raye Harris, I say to myself that it can't possibly get any better, and then I read the next book and it always does! I love the new SEAL additions to the HOT boys and I'm already salivating for the next installment in what's now become one of my favorite series by an author that's my go-to when I need a guaranteed unputdownable read that's equal parts entertaining and sexy, with plenty of action in and out of the bedroom!

Another great HOT book. Cowboy and Miranda Jane are a match made in heaven. Loved every minute of their HEA. Plenty of romance, hot bedroom scenes, and a bad guy to take care. Plus we get to see previous couples from HOT and the HOT Seals teams. Ian Blake is on hand to give assistance and aggravation to the team.

Cash is up next, and he really needs a little one in his life.

Still want Mendez to get an HEA and Ian.

This is the third book in the HOT SEAL Team series and is Cody 'Cowboy' McCormick and CIA Agent Miranda Lockwood's story.

Lynn Raye Harris is one of my favourite authors and it is books like this that are the reason why. HOT SEAL Rescue was full of action, suspense and romance, with plenty of sexy, steamy scenes too. I loved the relationship between Miranda and Cowboy and Lynn Raye Harris's HEA's never disappoint. There were even some appearances from members of the HOT and HOT SEAL teams, including the ever sexy Mendez and the mysterious Ian Black. The book had a great story, lovable characters and a group of drool worthy hotties, what more could I ask for?

Another great installment to the HOT universe. This one focuses on Cody "Cowboy" McCormick and CIA agent Miranda Lockwood. Lots of action and suspense, as well as some steamy scenes. Past favorites from the HOT series and the HOT SEAL series also make an appearance. Ian Black steals every scene that features him (and has some of the best lines in the book), and Mendez is in perfect form as usual. A must read for fans of military romantic suspense!

I'm completely in love with Lynn Raye Harris' HOT series of books, and have purchased pretty much every single one, so when I got the chance to get an ARC for "HOT Seal Rescue", I kind of embarrassed myself, I was so excited. (Don't hate me cause I'm a Fangirl.) So, with that said, here's the review I promised in exchange for said ARC:

If you're familiar with the world of All Things HOT, you know that there's going to be a smokin' HOT (yeah, pun intended, so sue me) man and an awesome, strong woman taking center stage in this story. And you also know by now that there will be some violence, and otherwise nefarious shenanigans going on - either right up front, or in the background (depending on the plot). If you're lucky, the nefarious goings on will somehow involve the infamous Ian Black.

He pops up in many of the HOT books, and it's always a treat, because you never really know exactly what this guy's deal is. Is he a rogue CIA agent? Is he deep, DEEP under cover? Is he just a jerk who turned mercenary and is only interested in making money? Over the course of the books, you get different views of him, but you just still aren't sure, and that's kinda what I love about him. I'm a sucker for a good Anti Hero ("Good" Anti Hero? See what I did there?), what can I say?

Ian isn't the main character in HOT Seal Rescue, but it's just so much fun to see him show up. I'm always happy to see him, but I think in this story we kind of get a deeper hint of his relationship with the CIA. It's natural that he should be in this book, since Miranda (the female lead) is a CIA Agent and interestingly, she's in something of a similar situation to Ian: Miranda's been deep under cover and been betrayed; the word went out that she had gone rogue.... sounds familiar, doesn't it?

But Miranda doesn't seem to be in as deep as Ian. She can still get out of her situation, wrap up her case, and get her life back, but Ian? That doesn't seem possible. His interaction with Miranda felt very revealing and important.

Cody, AKA "Cowboy", is an all-around good guy, and it's sweet how he wants to protect Miranda. I was kind of frustrated with his stubborn anger at Miranda, since he acknowledges that she was acting according to her orders, just like he was. I felt like his insistence that she should have trusted him enough to go against those orders after knowing him for only about 48 hours was a bit childish, to be honest. I suppose if he wasn't angry at her it would take away a key feature of their tension... and having that flaw makes him human. A stubborn Alpha Male who thinks the woman he's sweet on should have trusted him with her life after sleeping together once? It fits with the kind of ego a SEAL like him would have, but holy cow, man! Let it go! It's nice that it wasn't taken to the extreme though. Cody is still a laid-back sweetheart, and that's what I love about him. He's secure enough to accept Miranda as an Agent in her own right, but he still gets twitchy about her actually facing danger. Typical, double-standard man-think. LOL

In the beginning of the book Miranda "betrays" Cody, but that's kind of misleading. I'll let you read it to decide for yourself (because spoilers are so rude, don't you agree?), but I didn't see it as betraying him at all. It was Cody's reaction to what happened that made my heart ache for him. It's a big reason I loved the big lug.

OK, so the book is a LOAD of fun, I was Fangirling (yes, I made it a Verb) over Ian's appearance, and it was super fun to see some of the other HOT guys (and girls) from other books. HOT Seal Rescue was a whole lot of fun, with action, adventure, and a good dose of steam. If you've read any of Miss Harris' "HOT" books, you're going to definitely enjoy this one. If you haven't read of them, you can jump in with this one and enjoy it without all the backstory, but it definitely has more punch if you've already visited the HOT world.

Another wonderful action packed book by the Queen of Romantic Suspense Lynne Raye Harris!!! By this point after so many books it still astounds me how she manages to keep churning out such awesome, adrenaline, page turning, HOT sexy books!!!! Every single one of them manages to be a 5 star rating!!!

This time the lucky couple is Cody "Cowboy" McCormick and CIA Agent Miranda Lockwood. They have a very unconventional first meeting, when Miranda kidnaps Cowboy..... ( and yes I am not kidding you) She is undercover and after having her cover blown, she kidnaps Cody to help her escape. One thing leads to another and before you know it HOT is involved and Cody is helping Miranda out. Of course he never intended to fall for the sexy CIA agent, but that is what happens when you put a HOT Seal with a sexy, sassy and kick ass heroine.....:)

The book is action packed from start to finish and of course has all our favorite old HOT characters from books past......Ian once again stole the show for me, and I seriously hope he gets a book soon.....:) Also cant wait for Mendez.....another of my fave's...

HOT SEAL Rescue is the newest offering by the Queen of Military Romance, Lynn Raye Harris, and it's a 5-star, high energy, hot and steamy, spine tingling, sexual adventure, and I'm not talking about the joint HOT/CIA mission to take down a nasty human trafficker that Miranda Lockwood and Cody McCormick are determined to bring to justice. When Miranda has her cover blown she kidnaps Cody by gun point in a fancy Vegas hotel. Though he could disarm her in just a few seconds, he goes along with her ruse because he can tell she's in trouble just by looking into her gorgeous whiskey-colored eyes. While on the run together, neither one of them expected to share their deepest secrets with each other, and neither one of them had any power to resist the sexual attraction that arcs between them. In the days to come they have a white-hot, testosterone driven, steamy, and oh-so-sexy, dangerous military adventure that fogged up my glasses and made my heart pound like a runaway train. This is the kind of military story that Lynn Raye Harris is famous for, and I promise you will love it just as much as I did, if not more. More, I need more of these men and the women who complete them. I loved watching Cody and Miranda work through the "death" and find their way back to one another and the initial and immediate comfort and trust they found with one another. Their chemistry was off the charts and their love for one another flew off the pages of their story. Cody put up a good fight with himself and his deep feelings for Miranda and I love how his teammates were there to help him move past his initial need to stay away from her.

Hot Seal Rescue was the third book in the Hot Seal Team series by Lynn Raye Harris.

I have taken a hiatus from formal reviews for a while, but a couple quick thoughts: I loved both characters (Cody and Miranda). And I loved the suspenseful storyline. It was action packed, well written and full of mystery. It’s been a while since I’ve read any of Harris’s books and I want to go back and not only re-read the first two books in the series but also read her other series that led to the Hot Seal Team series!

The HOT SEAL team is definitely living up to the HOT team reputation!  Miranda Longwood "convinces" Cody McCormick to help her escape from a casino by poking a gun in his side.  Instead of just taking away the gun and handing her over to the guys trying to catch her, he is intrigued by the look in her eyes and tries to help.  Those HOT guys are suckers for a girl who looks like she might be in trouble!  Oh to be a girl they save...*sigh*.  Miranda is actually a CIA agent who is on mission to try and find evidence that her mentor was killed by the man he was investigating.  Her cover was blown and she needs to find out who set her up, but Cody isn't going to like the way she does it.
I love the books that Lynn writes because while they have very strong Alpha males, the women are pretty capable of taking care of themselves and Miranda is no different.  Like all the guys of HOT though, Cody doesn't want her to have to do it on her own.   It was a great action packed story and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute.  But Lynn, here's the thing... I NEED MORE MENDEZ AND I NEED HIM NOW!

Ms. Harris's SEALS are just as fun (and hot, no pun) to read about as her HOT team -- and the added bonus of seeing those guys again and Mendez and his smart comments about the boys all falling for their missions? Absolutely love.

Like my favorite girl before her (Lucky, if you didn't know){and suddenly, I have a need to re-read Dangerously Hot...}, Miranda proves to be a super strong female. Sure, all these HOT ladies are, but Miranda here is CIA and while Cowboy says he could have taken her down...she does catch him by surprise when they first meet.

What went from her trying to get away from a bad situation, to Cody helping her, turned into a mess of emotions that neither of these two bullheaded people talk about--which, of course, only makes the emotional angst incredibly fun to read about.

Definitely another GREAT addition to the HOT world by Lynn Raye Harris!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed Cody and Miranda's story. This story was filled with action from the very beginning. Cody being taken at gunpoint by Miranda in order for her to escape from someone who has discovered her true identity. This story was full of mystery and suspense all the way through. Miranda is trying to find out who the mole is in the CIA who blew her cover and Cody is trying to keep her as well as himself out of danger. I loved the whole storyline. It kept me going. You never see it coming. I loved that Ms Harris had cameo of some of the past characters of her books as well as hinging at what is to come. I loved the chemistry of Cody and Miranda. I can not wait for more of the HOT team stories. Both the original Alpha hot stories as well as the SEAL stories. As always I love an HEA!

This was one action packed read that had me hooked from the first page. This was a suspenseful read from start to finish in this next installment of the Hot series. The characters were genuine and hot together. They were believable characters that were hot together as a couple. I enjoyed the return of the characters of the previous books in this series as well as possible books to come in this series. I also enjoyed that the story was told from duel POV so that the reader could see what the characters were thinking and feeling. I had a hard time putting this book down once I started reading and look forward to more to come in the future.

God I loved this book so much! Literally sooooo good! I already knew what to expect since this happens in between the alpha squad books (I think before Dex’s book) and this couple is mentioned in almost every book afterwards.

Good ol’ Cody “cowboy” McCormick is a man girls dream about. A real life cowboy with looks meant for Hollywood-dark hair, blue eyes, rippling muscles, need I say more? Cody has a reputation for being the pretty boy and even the guys know it.

So when Cody is in Vegas to attend Remy and Christina’s wedding, the last thing he expects to happen is for a gorgeous girl to hold him at gun point and kidnap him. But he’s intrigued so he goes along with it.

That girl ends up being Miranda, whose beauty has caught Cody’s eye and he can’t help but want to help her out. Miranda is a CIA agent on a mission, but someone’s compromised her, which leads her to kidnap Cody. Thankfully he understand and decides to help her out, even gets the HOT boys to back him up. The pair spend a night entangled with each other before everything goes wrong.

And by everything, I mean Cody watched Miranda die and can’t do a thing about it. But what happens when Cody finds out it was fake and those nightmares he’s been having because of it are all for nothing? Well as you can imagine, not well. He’s pissed, rightfully so. And even better, they now have to work together.

The tension and lush between these two is absolutely crazy and the angst is so perfect it makes you heart hurt just a little bit.

Our next boy is Cash, and let me tell ya, I’m very excited for his book!

It is always fun and exciting to return to the HOT SEAL Team series. This latest story, Hot Seal Rescue, no doubt leaves the reader wanting more. This is Navy Seal Petty Officer, Cody "Cowboy" McCormick and CIA Agent, Miranda "Sunshine" Lockwood's story.

Cody on leave and in Vegas looking for his mother, is taken by surprise, when a stunning young woman approaches him and puts a gun in his side. She takes him hostage. After learning of the woman's peril, Cody decides to help her. He calls the situation into his unit and is sent to the safe house in Arizona. After a steamy night in the bedroom, he nicknames her, Sunshine. The following morning, he is told to bring her in, as she is dubbed dangerous and can't be trusted. But Cody doesn't buy into the fact that she is dangerous or untrustworthy.

Read this highly sensual novel that is packed with action and adventure. I promise, you will enjoy every moment while reading this steamy Special Ops story.

Navy SEAL, Cody 'Cowboy' McCormick lets a beautiful young woman kidnap him at gun point from a Las Vegas casino in Hot SEAL Rescue. Miranda is a CIA agent working alone undercover and her cover is blown when she approaches the hot guy to act as cover for her escape. The plot has snappy dialogue, betrayal, lots of danger and together with the help of Cowboy's Hot SEAL team they get the bad guys. I LOVED the hot action and the way Miranda made such a difference with how brave and kept her cool when she was in the face of almost certain death.

Lynn Raye Harris does it again with her hot, sexy, alpha men who love their jobs and women, and no way will they ever be tied down. Expect the unexpected and the unpredictable. It has everything you'd want in a good story: tension, passion, deception, suspense, and mystery. There's frustration, fear, desperation, lies, mayhem, heartache, revenge, war, chaos, death, hell, and fate that is inescapable.
It is an awesome tale that I couldn't put down. I was so enthralled with this world that Lynn has created. The complex characters are wonderfully written and become a part of you. This is one author whose other work I will be reading for sure.

I really love this story. Cody "Cowboy" and Miranda made a super hot couple. The book is filled with action, suspense and lots of mystery. HOT and steamy love scenes, and undeniable passion. The chemistry was off the charts. The story captured me from the beginning to end just didnt want to put it down. Miranda had to follow orders will Cody ever forgive her for what she had to do. Six weeks later the CIA and HOT have to come together to take down mmmmmm and the two of them come face to face. But their attraction and anger make for a HOT read. Lynn Raye Harris did her thing with this book and with this series. It was good to see the HOT guys and Ian Black again. Always a great, Can't wait to see what's next.

Hot Seal Rescue is an amazing addition to the HOT series from Lynn Raye Harris. I read and loved all of the books to date in both the original HOT series and the HOT Seal series and find myself loving each book more than the last. In fact, I'm pretty sure Hot Seal Rescue is my favorite book in the full series to date...of course I don't have Mendez's book yet.

I love a strong heroine, and Miranda Jane Lockwood is the epitome of a strong woman. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she had Cowboy in her corner from the beginning, but with everything that had been thrown at her in this story, a lesser woman would have been curled up in a ball on the floor. Miranda never stopped fighting no matter what surprises were thrown her way and I loved her every bit as much as I loved Cowboy.

I knew it would take a special lady to make Cowboy fall, and when Miranda "kidnapped" him in Vegas, I knew he had found a woman strong enough to be his. I loved them as a couple from the moment they met, even though it wasn't in the best of circumstances and things only got crazier from there. I loved neither could seem to keep their hands off the other if they were anywhere near each other. They had some of the hottest chemistry of any couples in the series, and all the couples to-date have had pretty incredible chemistry.

I'm a fan of romantic suspense and Lynn Raye Harris totally delivers every single time on having a major mission with full-blown suspense. I had an idea of what was going in, but will admit she threw me for a loop with the twist in Hot Seal Rescue, and I absolutely loved it. I figure out so many suspense books in advance, it was nice to have a bit of a "what" moment.

I highly recommend the entire HOT series to romantic suspense fans everywhere. While I believe you know more about the characters if you read the books in order, because so many characters from other books cross over, you could still pick up Hot Seal Rescue and read it as a stand-alone and be okay. Just be prepared to go back and want to read all the other books in the series very, very soon.

HOT SEAL Rescue was a fast-paced thrill ride, with serious ups and downs, both emotionally and professionally for Cody and Miranda.  In the beginning, there is just no way that Harris could possibly bring these two together, but as always her skill as an author shines through as she finds a way for these two to reach their HEA. Cody is a sensual, scary, sweet, and loving guy that has issues with his family, but when he meets Miranda he’s not willing to let her go until he understands why she makes him feel the way she does.  The depth of his sorrow when she betrays him brought tears to my eyes, and when they are thrown together, again the sparks between them are dangerous to bystanders.  Seeing him fall first into lust and then slowly into Love with this contrary, confusing woman was an experience I won’t soon forget.  Miranda was the type of woman I want to slap usually, willingly betraying a man she has come to care for, just because she thinks that’s the best way to keep him safe.   I enjoyed getting to see the softer side of Miranda as she worked with Cody and the HOT team and came to trust and depend on them.  Slowly she came around and learned that sometimes just because a connection develops quickly doesn’t mean it will unravel and that sometimes it might just stand the test of time.  The passion these two share is undeniable and seriously sexy, with lots of fun times in even the most unexpected of situations and settings.  I am dying to find out who will be losing their heart next, though I have an idea and hope I am right.  Ms. Harris as always grabs and keeps your attention with her sexy badass operators and sinfully gorgeous heroines as she takes you on a dangerous ride through the dangers of the world of Black Ops. Once again, Lynn swings for the fences and hits a home run.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, betrayal, suspense, and heartbreak.

This is Miranda and Cody’s story. Miranda abducts Cody and but he takes her away and tries to help her with her mission. When Cody is ordered to take her in he knows he has no choice. She is labeled a rouge agent and must go in. She is forced to betray him to bring out the mole in the CIA. What happens when he believes the worst and then finds out the truth? Can they work together to bring out the mole? They are racing against the clock they need to capture the enemy and figure out the mole before danger finds them. Will the mole get away or is it someone they never expected? Can these two overcome the betrayal and move on together in the future or is this the end of the mission and also them?


I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

This is the 3rd book in the spin-off series of HOT. This series focuses on the SEAL team that's now part of HOT under Colonel Mendez. Cody/Cowboy is a much more complex hero than he initially portrays as laidback and easy going. He's proud, stubborn, protective. He's also the perfect match for the heroine, Miranda. Both are independent, but a lot more lonely than they realized. They've both grown up with alcoholic and selfish parents so they've both shied away from forming deeper relationships. I immediately connected with Miranda and liked her vulnerability from the first to last page. There's very little angst and Miranda owns up to what she can't change. Cody is a bit stubborn and very hurt, but they're both vulnerable and we see that from the dual points of view. Overall, the book was fun, adventurous and entertaining. I loved seeing old characters and the development of newer ones.

I love that the overall series can be endless, but the author makes sure to always bring back some of the previous characters as we're introduced to the newer team. Lucky has a good supporting role in this story and we see Kevin, Veronica and a few of the others as well. Based on the epilogue, I do believe Cash/Money is up next to regret fatefully saying he'd never be tied down to one woman. Mendez's book with Samantha/Sam is coming soon, so I paid extra attention to their interactions.

(I know I've said this for about 7 or 8 books now, but I so badly want Ian's story!!!)

Oh My!!! Lynn Raye Harris does it again, Lynn has created another HOT story that kept me interested from start to finish! HOT SEAL Rescue book #3 about the HOT SEAL Team series features Navy Seal Cody "Cowboy" McCormick(who we met in other HOT books) and CIA Agent Miranda Lockwood. This story starts off with a bang when Miranda a total stranger comes up to Cody and acts like they are involved romantically when in reality she has a gun on him and wants him to play along with her charade. But what is really going on is her undercover operation has gone totally wrong and she needs to get out of the casino and Vegas fast. Hence this is when the story just takes off and had me reading til I finished it. I don't want to give anything away, so I encourage you to read HOT SEAL Rescue and enjoy their story as much as I did.
This book has it all, a sexy HOT hero who is tricked and not happy about it, a heroine who wants revenge for a death of friend and is ultimately betrayed, HOT SEAL action, desire and feelings that won't die and hot sex. Along with many characters from past books makes for a wonderful read. HOT SEAL Lover is a winner in my book!

HOT SEAL RESCUE by Lynn Raye Harris is one explosive tale! This author can write stories that kick butt yet make me swoon at the same time. Miranda, our heroine, takes no prisoners, yet she is all female! To be perfectly honest, I don't always like when the heroine is tough but Ms. Harris certainly changed my mind, as she has done so many times before. And our Hero, Cody. Ooh La La! He is a true alpha Hero! They are so meant to be, even if Cody does fight it a bit. I could go on and on about this one - from the thrills and danger to the sexy scenes but I don't want to give too much away. As with other stories in the HOT series, it's also always fun to revisit with other characters from previous stories. If you enjoy a smokin' hot story that has a little bit of everything, from action and drama to love and romance, you do not want to miss this one! (received copy for honest review)

The HOT SEAL Rescue (HOT SEAL Team - Book 3) actually started in SEALs of Summer 03, now we have the rest of the story by Lynn Raye Harris. Cowboy is still the hot Navy SEAL who has the hero complex down to an art. CIA agent, Miranda is no slouch in the strong mind, and body department either. Together they made a perfect team professional and personal. Together they put the sizzling hot in HOT SEAL Rescue.

I enjoyed the plot with a bad guy to catch while falling into lust than love along the way. I always look for glimpses of the enigmatic Ian Blake who does make an appearance in this book. Sometimes, I feel as if the events move out of the range of believable but who am I to say since I have never met a Navy SEAL. It still is great fun, knowing the good guys will win and find love too along the way.

This was definitely my favorite HOT SEAL book so far though I have loved all the HOT books. Lynn Raye Harris just has a way of writing very likable believable characters that you just can't help but root for. Cody and Miranda really clicked for me. Cody was tough and decisive without some of the more domineering alpha qualities. Miranda reminded me of a lost girl. She had run from her family and gotten so lost in her work that she had forgotten to really live. When these two meet, they light up the pages...until something goes terribly wrong. It's anyone's guess how they will ever be able to reconcile their differences and work together.

HOT is just so, well....Hot! All my favorite reoccurring characters were there, Cash, Lucky (I so love her.), and not the least of all, Ian Black. I swear when that sexy inwardly tortured man gets his own story, I might just swoon. I can't wait!

It takes a dynamite woman with guts of steel to make a HOT man fall. Cowboy happens to be on a personal mission when Miranda gives him a new one. She's CIA working solo on a dangerous mission when she needs to escape. Cowboy and Miranda have an instant love/hate connection that never goes away. Harris gives us two people with a deep intense personal story and she makes it work with a HOT mission. She works their relationship into a wonderful tizzy and then the intense action begins. I found myself not wanting to put the story down. A thousand thanks to Lynn for giving me an early review copy.
