Again another very emotional read. Lots to overcome for both the main characters.

Aleck goes through a great deal and I think the author captured what a gambling addiction is like. He has to hit the bottom to come back. Damien is a jerk to him saying he wants him to turn to him but then saying if I find out you screw up again you are done with me and my family. I little contradictory.

Emma is something. She has issues,her family treated her terrible and had no understanding of what she went through.

There is a ton of sexy times and damn it is hot.

I feel really sorry for a Vlad. I hate there is always one person that gets way more then their share of crap.

Again some grammar issues are scattered throughout.

I literally just finish “Redemption”. It’s not the first in the series that I have read. But it is indeed more well sculpted. You can see the progression of Samantha Harrington work.
Oh I adore dark, gritty and raw romance books. Throw in a flare for the Mafia and I'm in heaven. “Redemption” Was raw in so many ways. I would say it's not for the faint of hard. emotionally jarring at time. Yet also beyond hot. Just a complex read.

Alekzander lives with serious guilt, due to his poor choices, that have hurt others. His pride won't let go to anyone for help, until she comes in to his life. He believes that he'll never be good enough for her, but can't make himself stay away. When his dark demons come back to haunt him, he finds himself going backwards turning back to old vices. Emma was a normal girl until the day she was kidnapped, and made a sex slave. Even after being rescued, she can't get rid of the guilt and shame. Emma does know she wants Alek, but she's sure she'll never be good enough for him, or anyone for that matter. With the demons Emma and Alek are carrying, will they find redemption, or completely destroy each other?!

WOW! The intensity and angst levels made it hard to breathe while reading. The character development is great, with a colorful cast of secondaries. Plus, it was great to see what the others are doing since their stories were already told. I LOVED how Samantha Harrington tied everyone together so fantastically, because after each book, I was left with wanting more of each couple. Her talented writing style had me on the edge of my seat cover to cover, with twists that came out of left field. Simmering chemistry is so thick that it didn't take long for it to explode into SCORCHIN' HOT sexy scene goodness that will make the dirtiest girl blush. I cannot wait to read more by this author, and hopefully more in this series so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Gah! The story of Alek and Emma was a whirlwind of emotions as are the other books in the Volkov series.

"That saying is true; assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups..."

Emma's life went from normal to Hell.
Because of Alek's actions, she is removed from that Hell courtesy of Vlad and the Volkov men.

The Volkov family is going through tribulations on how to become a whole unit again but Alek's transgressions have caused an ultimatum.

Vlad has his own secret. Alek's road to redemption will help Vlad and ultimately, it also helps the Volkov family learn how to be whole.

This journey is fast paced but it will have you addicted to the pages until the end...or is it?

Another great read from Samantha Harrington this series just gets better with each book as does the authors writing style. Redemption is book 4 in The Volkov Mafia Series and ih Alek and Emma's story.

This is a story about how two very broken people find the strength in each other to fight and overcome their demons, Both Emma and Alek have lived through difficult times Emma was sold into the sex slave trade and Alek has gambling issues he's in debt upto his eyeballs with people who wouldn't think twice about hurting the ones he loves. Emma has strong feelings for Alek but can he turn his life around and prove that he's worthy of her love?

A great series and I'm looking forward to more from Samantha Harrington

This story was definitely the better written book of the series.
What I love about this series is that we see the author's writing get better and better with every book.
Emma and Alek are both troubled, broken souls who come together in love and lust. Watching their flawed yet perfect relationship blossom into pure love is beautiful.
This book is the most graphic of the series, it will leave you heartbroken and wanting more.
I read this book in one sitting as I could not put it down.
This is my favourite of the series and I need to read the next book soon!!

Interesting read. For me, it's not as good as the previous books but this is still a good read though. This book is Alekzander and Emma's story. They are an interesting pair. Both have a past that they are not proud of but both are doing their best to have a new life. Anyway, as the story goes, it keeps getting better and better and full of suspense! Other than Alekzander and Emma, you can also see the characters from the previous books - so it's a win-win read! There's a part on this book that broke me to read...**sobs**
Over all, this book will take you in an emotional roller-coaster!

I had the pleasure of being asked to be beta reader for this book and I can safely say that I really enjoyed this book.

I loved the storyline and how it showed how an addiction can become a major problem but also how a person can overcome an addiction and come out on top and alas find their Redemption.

Another great installment to a series that's full of action, love and of course let's not forget some of the HOT sex scenes.

I was given a copy of Redemption for an honest review. I loved it! It's book 4 in the Volkov Mafia series & tells Alek & Emma's story. It deals very well with addiction, gambling & the struggle to rebuild your life after horrendous abuse. So it's dark. But it's also very hot & steamy. Now I need Vlad's story, because I was so not happy with what Samantha did to him!

This book had the WoW factor that I have been waiting on since starting the series. Samantha has developed immensely as an author and it shows in her writing. Alek is troubled and has lost loved ones due to his bad habits. He must stand up to his enemies and fave his family in order to set things right. Couldn't put this one down.
