Reading LURED BY MY MASTER by Jenna Jacob was like coming home again. I've missed this series so much, and this next installment reminded me of that fact. Can I please get an AMEN! for the men that Jenna Jacob brings into my life? With every Dom she introduces to, another piece of my heart is claimed. I will never get enough of this series, and I hope that these characters never stop digging their way into Ms. Jacob's mind, so that she is forced to put pen to paper, and gives her fans epic romances that we never will forget.

Welcome back to the Doms of Genesis. This is Master Sam and Nurse Allisinda's story, a coming of age story of sorts, a realization and acceptance of one's true nature.
Allisinda 'Cin' Noland does not have the best track record with men. When she overhears a conversation between her boyfriend and best friend it sends her into a tailspin. She thought Sam had been cheating on her but soon discovers he's been hiding a secret world. As it turns out Dr. Sam Brooks is also a Dom.
From the beginning, Sam had detected Cin's submissive tendencies. He's taken charge in the bedroom and had planned on sharing his proclivities with Cin slowly, until he's confronted by her best friend. Now that his secret has been partially revealed he moves forward with introducing Cin to his world.
What happens next is an internal battle of pride and self-awareness. Cin is unable to accept that she might be open to a D/s relationship. "I was self-sufficient, liberated, and successful. I didn't need a man in my life to make me complete-I had the fortitude to do that on my own. Besides, I'd never be some spineless, codependent submissive." The struggle is intense and at times hurtful. Cin built a solid wall to protect herself after her previous relationship and can't move past conforming with her societal upbringing.
Master Sam does his best to open Cin's eyes but she doesn't make it easy. In the end her obstinance is hurtful and crushing. It's up to Cin to find a way to move past her pride and open up her heart to a man who wants to push her limits, provide her security and love. 4 1/2 stars!

This was an emotional rollercoaster of a book. It starts with Cindi, an ER nurse, believing her boyfriend, Sam, a physician in the same hospital, is cheating on her. When she confronts him, what she finds is almost worse-Sam is a Dom and wants Cindi to discover the submissive inside her.
But Cindi has severe trust issues and the entire idea of BDSM horrifies her. Her preconceptions of the submissive being a doormat mean she would no longer be the independent woman she considers herself to be. But she truly loves Sam and is torn between her desire to please him and her fears of losing herself to the lifestyle. Can she overcome her terror to have a relationship with Sam?
While Cindi is of mixed race, her heritage plays little part in this story. Her relationship with her parents, however, is crucial to her feelings. She has had to put up with them belittling her choices in everything, but particularly her job as a nurse. She was a likable and sympathetic character.
Sam, on the other hand, was not so sympathetic. After learning of her background, he promised patience and moving slowly, he was neither patient, nor slow moving; and bailed on the relationship at a critical moment. Cindi had to do all the bending to make the relationship happen, and I personally didn't find Sam worth the effort other than looking good.
While there is some BDSM in the book, there is little explicit activity—this is a book that relies more on the story than sex.
Other than wanting to kick Sam to the curb periodically, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was happy to return to the Doms of Genesis.

I am going to be among the minority on this one.
I want to first say that I'm a huge fan of this series, and so far I've loved all of the characters (even if I hated them to start with). I like watching the unlikely pairings and feeling the emotion and devotion that the world of BDSM provides.
This book may be read as a stand-alone as each book is based on a new set of characters, but I would definitely suggest starting at the beginning!
We met Cindy in book 5, she's a nurse that works with Liz in the Emergency Department of the hospital. She also had a HUGE crush on Dr. Sam and they've started dating.
This book starts in the middle of Cindy having a crisis (mostly with herself) and showing her deep-rooted trust issues. Due to this Sam is forced to "show his hand" earlier than he wanted, and everything goes to hell quickly for the pair.
My issue with this story is with Sam. He isn't as compassionate to Cindy's plight as I wanted.
Instead of explaining himself and his proclivities from the beginning of their budding relationship, he explores his kinky side at Genesis without Cindy. Even worse, I feel, he expects her accept this Domination without question when she's clearly not willing to.
As the story continues, we learn about Cindy's past and her hesitancy with the entire BDSM culture. I'm happy to admit that Sam does, eventually, redeem himself. That being so, overall he is my least favored character of the 6 books.

I just can't get enough from the Genesis members. Their relationships intrigue and excite me and always leave me wanting more.
Lured by My Master brings us the story of Sam Brooks, a well respected OB/Gyn in the city of Chicago and long time member at Genesis. He's had a wonderful and budding relationship with nurse, Cindy Noland. Cindy is best friends from Liz (who we met in book 5, Seduced by My Doms). She's unaware of their connection and upon being introduced digs her heels in and gives full resistance to Sam and his deviant lifestyle.
See, Cin has her ideas of the BDSM lifestyle and their "freakish" sex lives, so she doesn't want any part of that. But she loves Sam and she's torn between letting go or giving it a chance. This story was absolutely perfect for a reader not well versed in BDSM. Told from Cin's point of view, she touches on the common preconceived notions that most of the public has about that lifestyle. Her thoughts, questions and misunderstandings are quite normal from those with closed minds or just not knowledgeable on the topic. How she felt about submission was what most people would expect and learning that submission is a way to gain and strengthen ones identity rather than give up their identity, was a difficult lessen for her.
Jenna Jacob gives a great story of a novice being thrown into that life, floundering resisting and, with the help of a truly understanding partner and Dom, finds her way through and totally reading to dive in. Sam's patience and understanding were just amazing. He loved her so much, he did everything he could to maintain his cool and show her the way, no matter how hard she fought back. Ultimately, she learns that her resistance was all due to portraying the persona she felt was expected of her versus portraying the person she truly was.
I just loved following her on her journey of self-discovery and seeing the rest of the Genesis family help her along the way.

Ahhhhh, that's me letting out a sigh of relief. Why you ask? Because those sexy Doms of Genesis are back, along with their sassy subs. And in Lured by my Master, we may have met our most difficult sub yet. Cindy.
If you remember back to Liz/James/Ian's book, Seduced by my Doms, Cindy is Liz's boss. She's the charge nurse at the hospital that her, Liz and our sexy Dom, Sam work at.At the start of our book, Cindy has been with Sam for three months, and she's concerned that Sam may be cheating on her. Her track record with men isn't very good, so she's very mistrusting. Then, to make matters worse, she overhears a conversation between Sam and Liz that has her even more convinced so he brings her to Genesis to finally explain what he is and tell her what he believes she is. A submissive.
Cin doesn't take the news very well and reacts rather badly. I actually had moments where I wanted to slap her *chuckling* I guess you could say she was a bit difficult to deal with for a while. But parents and ex-fiancees figure heavily as influences on her descion making here, and watching her work her way through the process makes you just want to kidnap Sam and take him for your very own.
But the Genesis gang , and a difficult situation, all serve to help make things the hot, exciting, can't-put-the-book-down, fueled novel that Jenna is best known for. As always, I fell in love with this book. It's not my favorite of the series. (Savannah/Nick/Dylan in Masters of my Desire is my absolute favorite!) But it's still an awesome read.

In this book we get Sam and Allisinda or Cindy for short. We meet this couple in Seduced by My Doms. Sam is the resident OB at the hospital Cindy is one of the ER nurses there. She and Liz have been best friends for ever. So when she confides in her that she thinks Sam is cheating on her she thinks her worst fears are confirmed when she notices her friend is acting weird. Cindy has been brutally burned by a man before and refuses to have it done again. So she would rather walk away from the one man she can see herself with forever then be hurt even more in the long run. Can she walk away so easily or will Sam make sure she sees him not her past?
Sam knows Cindy is keeping something from him but he has his own secrets. He wants to be able to tell her about his dominate side and club Genesis in his own way. But when he sees Cindy in the doorway while he is having a conversation with Liz he knows his time has run out. He has to show her everything or risk loosing her forever. Can he keep his woman or will the demons from her past keep her from really seeing him and what they could be together.
I have been a huge fan of this series since I read my first book in this series. This book will have you locking the door, closing the blinds, sending the kids away so you can read this from beginning to end with no interruptions. This book has so really good twists in it that I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I will say this is another amazing hit in this series it is an absolute must read. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

LURED BY MASTER is the first book I've ever read by Jenna Jacob and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it will not be the last. I was completely mesmerized reading it and found I had a hard time putting it down. The book is actually part 6 in a series, but you can definitely read it without having to read the previous books. I had no trouble following at all, as each book is about a new couple who are involved in the BDSM lifestyle.
Cin is a nurse who has been dating a doctor for a few months. Everything seems to be going very well until she discovers that Sam is in fact a dominant, who is wanting her to submit to him. Cin's first instinct is "hell no!" and makes it clear to him that is not something she is interested in. Sam knows that Cin is a natural submissive and endeavours to prove to her that all her reservations are unfounded.
LURED BY MASTER has a hot storyline with an even hotter hero. It's well written and will make you go through every emotion possible while reading. I was so moved by a scene that I cried.
This gets 5 stars from me!

Oh my I love this series. Jenna keeps me on my toes every single time! The books in the series are stand alone but it helps to get the back story on some of the characters.
Sam and Cin are super freakin hot together. Only they are both keeping some pretty serious secrets. Sam is a dirty boy and Cin.... well she's got a pretty interesting family tree. These two have amazing chemistry! They seriously had me squirming in my seat! I loved their connection and their easy banter back and forth.
This was a great read. Lots of high tension at times and some major angst. I was wondering the whole time will they work it out? Will she finally give in to her real self? And will Sam be mine? Sweet baby jesus that man is hot. I couldn't get enough!

Oh my I love this series. Jenna keeps me on my toes every single time! The books in the series are stand alone but it helps to get the back story on some of the characters.
Sam and Cin are super freakin hot together. Only they are both keeping some pretty serious secrets. Sam is a dirty boy and Cin.... well she's got a pretty interesting family tree. These two have amazing chemistry! They seriously had me squirming in my seat! I loved their connection and their easy banter back and forth.
This was a great read. Lots of high tension at times and some major angst. I was wondering the whole time will they work it out? Will she finally give in to her real self? And will Sam be mine? Sweet baby jesus that man is hot. I couldn't get enough!

Loved it!
One of the best in the series. Like bed catching up with the other characters, this book had a bit of everything, love, lust, depression, turmoil, family, secrets and HEA. Like I said loved it.

Cindy Noland is an ER nurse, who has been seriously betrayed by past relationships, which has left deep scars. And despite her steel walls, she's fallen in love with Dr. Samuel Brooks, however she's realized he's keeping secrets which have all the old insecurities going strong. So, she confronts him as she's sure it's another woman, but instead, she learns that he's Master Sam, a Dominant. Now she's being immersed in a confusing world that she's sure she wants no part of, but she can't deny the effect Sam has on her, so slowly she's learning about his world, and some new facts about herself that she's kept locked deep down. Will Cin give in and bare her soul for a chance at true love?
I'm not going to pretend that I have even a clue about the BDSM world, as I'm a control freak alpha in my own right, so I got quite irritated at some of the scenes in this story. However, no matter how pissy I got, it doesn't change the fact that Jenna Jacob, with her talented writing style, had all my emotions on high alert, as I was fully immersed in her story enough to become furious on behalf of Cin. I'm not sure how realistic the scenes are, but they felt real to me. The character development is great, and the cast of secondaries were colorful. There's no doubt that the sexy scene goodness was fiery flames of HOTNESS, and a few twists out of left field had me yelling loudly. Despite my controlling alpha ways, I really want to read more by this author, so I have to HIGHLY RECOMMEND to everyone!

I received a copy of this book for a honest review
Cindy Noland is a charge nurse of the ER and has a backbone of steel. She also has been dating hunky Dr. Sam Brooks, for three months. Little does she know that the hunky doc has a secret. When she starts to think that he's cheating she does what any woman would do, try to kick him to the curb.
Now Sam has to share his secret and Cindy is in NO way ready for it. Sam isn't cheating, he is in fact Master Sam and wants to help Cindy to bring out her submissive side.
What happens is a journey through one strong willed woman's mind, heart, and soul.
First off, the chemistry between these two is panty melting!! Second, to see Cindy struggle so hard with what she thinks is right and what she thinks she wants, is heartbreaking. Finally, to see the breakthrough that she has to the sub inside is utterly breathtaking.
Sam being the Master that he is knows what he wants and he gets it in the end, but it isn't a easy road by any means. There's crazy ex's, heartbreak, and very stubborn people.
While the story between Master Sam and Cindy is hot, for me the story of Cindy finding herself so that she can see the submissive within is THE story and asking her friends for help is when she breaks just reminds us that's what friends are for, to lean one direction ring the hard times.

In additional, I enjoyed the raw emotion that Sam would show when he wasn’t trying to stay in control of his expressions. Cindy and Sam’s relationship was rocky, but then what relationship isn’t? Each page was captivating and I certainly couldn’t get enough of the main characters.
I highly recommend not only to read this book, but to read the whole series!

I am a big fan of Jenna Jacob's Doms of Genesis series, so I was very excited when I heard about this book as it's been a while since the last book in the series. I had high expectations, but this book more than lived up to them. It is skilfully written by this talented author, and you can't help being pulled into this emotional story.
We first met Dr Sam Brooks and ER nurse Cindy Noland in Liz, Ian and James' story. They have been dating for a few months now but Cindy suspects that he's hiding something - and he is. Sam is an experienced Dom in the BDSM lifestyle, but he's not found a way to gently introduce Cindy to the pleasures of submission yet. When Cindy does find out, she struggles with the idea of submitting, but she also finds this new, dominant version of her gentle doctor to be very hot. Can she put her preconceived ideas of BDSM and her past hurts behind her so that her relationship with Sam can succeed?
Oh my gosh, I am totally in love with Sam. He is so loving and sweet, but he has an insanely hot, dominant alpha male side to his character. He also has a huge amount of patience - and he definitely needs it with Cindy! This is a fabulous story, and a great addition to the Doms of Genesis series. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next book! Five stars!

I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
Hmmm, so far, this is my least favorite of this series. And, I am so disappointed because I love Cindy in the previous stories. She is best friends with Liz and knows how to get the job done. She is strong, independent and has lived her life hearing she's not good enough.
Then you have Dr. Sam. While he is commanding and domineering, I felt that he wanted to change Cindy too much. I didn't think that he was very mature, nor very nice, actually. Yes, he had a protective streak, but in the end, I just couldn't really connect with his relationship views and how and what he wanted from Cindy.
This story was full of miscommunications on both main characters' parts and that was just frustrating. Especially given that Sam was supposed to be this experienced Dom. And, while I can understand that not all Doms have had relationship experience, it seemed that Cindy had to do all of the giving.
Also, the "past" of Cindy was just kind of thrown in there. There wasn't really a story there. Overall, this is my least favorite and could be skipped in the series.

So hot!
I've read the entire preceding Doms of Genesis Series and love the erotic storylines. what i also love, though, are the underlying stories that are separate. Real, everyday issues people deal with. Jenna Jacob writes BDSM erotica like no one else, making the reader long to be right there, in the moment.
Allisinda (Cindy) has very realistic preconceived notions about the lifestyle once she finds out why her lover Sam Brooks hasn't had much time for her. As a matter of fact, she's terrified and finds it all to be barbaric and sadistic. In her opinion, the world of submission would strip her of her hard-won independence and transform her into some weak-minded woman who is unable to care or herself.
After interacting with other submissives from Genesis, she intrigue spikes, but she continues to push Sam away, unsure of her warring emotions. Cindy feels conflicted due to her strong feminist ideals, not realizing how much power submission actually provides.
As previously mentioned, Jenna Jacob writes BDSM flawlessly. She knows how to write it accurately, but without sounding clinical. There were a few minor grammar and word usage errors, but they didn't take away from the story. And Sam is....wowzers!!!

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is Dr. Samuel “Sam” Brooks & Allisinda “Cindy” Noland’s story. First off let me say that I think that Sam has the patience of Job. Jenna Jacob writes so well that I could just feel the frustration Sam had with Cindy. There is no way I would have been that patient! I would have given up! But, fortunately for me and other readers he didn’t.
In Chapter Six I broke out laughing when Cindy realized she is submissive. Of course you will need to read that part on your own. ;)
I thought I had read the other books in The Doms of Genesis Series when I said I wanted to read this book and all I have read was Book 1 Embracing my Submission. I didn’t feel that I had missed anything by not having read the other books. But, now my mission is to read the books in between the first one and the last one written, books 2-5 by Jenna Jacob.

Cindy has fallen for Sam, but he has been holding something back from her. When she overhears him speaking to her best friend at work one day Cindy's heart breaks a bit as she has misunderstood. One of the problems is that her heart was broken by a man she loved and trusted. My heart hurt for her as she shared this with Sam. I did want to give this delicious Dom a shake with the whole Destiny thing. I know that the D/s relationship is an intimate one whether sex is involved or not, so that kind of turned me off about him. Now I also wanted to shake Cindy a bit too as she wrestled with some of her issues. I totally got why she was fearful of something she didn't understand. Once she put those fears aside I loved these two together. I enjoyed their story and can't wait to read more in this series.

I finished this book at least 2 weeks ago and I loved it. Cindy and Master Sam have a very complicated relationship. They are opposite in so many ways and yet they have a deeper connection than either realizes. Though she tries to deny it when confronted with her submissive tendencies Cindy soon finds herself on a path she is highly uncertain of. While her body craves everything Sam does to it her mind rebels and heart is torn. I enjoyed the inner conflict Cindy fought to find the path to her true happiness. And when danger presents its way in her path she has to open her eyes and her heart to not only accept Samuel but herself. There were some flaws with the story but not anything that couldn't be overlooked. 5 stars. A great addition to the series.

Jenna Jacobs is absolutely freaken brilliant!!! Cin & Sam's story was addicting! Cin dealing with lots of new things and Sam opening her eyes to all that's there... Absolutely amazing! I have to admit that I wanted to knock Cin upside the head at first. Oh and how I just wanted to jump up and down with my hand raised, saying "pick me, pick me!" to Sam. I mean swoooooon! Delicious read that will have you in panty melting central! Definitely a MUST-READ!!!

An author with the ability to drag you into the story
The emotional roller coaster Jenna takes me on every time I read one of her books it leaves me utterly destroyed for at least 24 in a good way. I connect with her characters and you feel what they feel. If you haven't read her books you really need to read them all.

Cin and Sam compliment each other. But Sam has needs. He craves a more Dom/sub relationship with Cin. Will she attempt to please Sam? Can she embrace the lifestyle? Jenna wrote a fantastic book filled with sexy time, comedy and drama that will leave you feeling extremely well satisfied.

This is the sixth book in the series and they should be read in order. This book picks up about 3 months after the last one ends. Cindy is Liz’s friend and boss. She has been dating Dr. Sam for about 3 months. Cindy is worried that Sam may be cheating on him but then learns that the truth maybe worse than what she thought. Sam has been hiding his kinky side that he is a Dominant. He tells Cindy that he sees a submissive in her. Cindy wants to deny it so much. When he points out that he already does some kinky things with her she wants to be even angier not less. Sam tries to explain to her that Dominance and submission isn’t about her having no say or being weak but about a power exchange where she gets more back. She isn’t weak or spineless for be submissive but instead strong and powerful. Cindy has a past that influences her more than she knows. The way her mother treats her and her past make her put up walls to keep people out and to make her feel strong. Will Sam be able to break through her walls and so her how great it could be between the two of them? How many times will she push him away before he gives up? This book was sad for me. Cin is such a powerful woman but she has been through so much and she can’t let go to see how wonderful it could be. Then her ex comes back and things get even more difficult. When she needs Sam, the most could be the one time she finally pushes him away for good. How far is Cindy willing to go for love? I can’t get enough of this series. Each new couple introduced I fall harder for the series. I can’t wait for the next book. Jenna is a fantastic author and love her so much.

Goodness Cindy had a very hard time fighting her submission. But Sam was not going to give up on her. I loved the storyline. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. I recommend all the series & the Authors other books as well.

Not anymore. I've had enough. The stupidity and insecurities of Cindy fucked up my patience, this book, and the rest of this series. I can't deal with the insecure women with the independent strike that the author has picked and has been torturing us the last books. I've had enough.

This is the sixth book in The Dom's of Genesis Series. This is another great read in this series Jenna Jacobs again keeps you wanting more in this series and keeps fleshing out stories and characters in the entire series. Cindy and Samuel Brooks is a great couple but will they be able to trust each other. I cannot wait for the next installments to this series.
