Rate this book
Fate brought this unlikely pair together … but only trust will make them one.

Vivienne Prescott is on the run from the life her grandmother wants to force her into—the right marriage, being seen in the right places with the right people. That life feels empty now that the rest of her family is gone. When the heiress finds herself in a small Virginia town, surrounded by the handsome, kind Brady and his warm and loving family, she wants to stay. Has fate given her the man with whom she can finally be herself?

Brady Richardson can't believe it when a lovely stranger crashes her motorcycle almost on the front steps of his busy restaurant. When she wants to stay and work there, he's thrilled at the chance to get to know her. But who is the mysterious stranger tailing her, and why won't Viv answer his questions about her life? He's been burned before, and he's not about to trust a woman who won't give up her secrets.

I got the ARC of this lovely story in exchange for an honest review :) and I really enjoyed it :) definitely don't be discouraged if you haven't read the previous stories in this series, because it can work perfectly well as a standalone :) I read just one other of the four that came before this one, and truth be told, I don't remember much details from it ;) and I still loved this story :) so let me tell you a bit more about this lovely contemporary romance :)

Viv is an heiress on a journey to find herself... she's been on the road for the last few months, trying to figure out what exactly it is that she wants from life, before she has to get home and back to the life she was living so far, under a watchful eye of her grandmother... everything changes when she crashes into Brady's life... literally ;) she crashes her motorcycle and almost gets into an accident with Brady's mom, right outside his restaurant... don't worry, nothing terrible happens :) she was lucky... in more ways than one :) because even though her adventures in that little town started off not so well, it gave her an opportunity to witness all sorts of good in people :) and she is not used to that :) to people being nice and helpful and just generally kind to her without any hidden agenda... there is also definitely a spark between her and Brady from the moment they met, but both of them are a little aprehensive about moving forward with it... mainly because she's suppose to move on in a day or two... it changs quickly, and she decides to stay for a few weeks :) but still, things move a bit on the slow side between them :) I don't want to say too much about it, because the story is not very long and all those little scenes are so cute that I want them to be a surprise for you just as they were for me :)

When it comes to the secondary characters, there were so many wonderful ones in this story :) like I mentioned before, even if you are brand new to this series, you will enjoy reading this story, but I can assure you... all the scenes including couples that already got their books will absolutely make you curious to read more about them :) so you can start whenever and then just go back and read all other books in this charming series :) that is also why I don't want to get into any more details about them :) because if you already know the series, it will be a lovely addition to see some of your favourite people make an appearance... :) and if you are brand new, or don't remember anyone, like yours truly ;) I want to leave the discovery who is important and how amazing they all really are for you while you will be reading it :)

The book is written in two perspectives, which you should know by now is only like my favourite writing style in novels :) the ability to get inside the minds of both our main characters is always something I enjoy in stories :) not to mention that it's the second book I've read, written by the lovely Tamra Lassiter and it only confirmed my previous feelings, that I really like her writing style :) the second book I read in this series also proved, how much I love stories set in small towns :) especially if they are done such amazingly as this one :) filled with lovely characters and charming stories, it's one of those feel-good books... the one that is best to read when you curl up under a blanket with something hot to drink... I'll leave the choice of the beverage to you ;) and just disappear for a few hours into the beautiful town created by this author... :) honestly, I would love to be able to at least visit it for a few days... :) and get to know all the awesome people I have been reading about :) so definitely give this beautiful series a try :)

XOXO

I won an autograph copy of this book. This is an honest review. This was sweet easy read thst i really enjoyed. I am normally not a big fan of romance books but this was the exception. The story was plausible despite the events happening very quickly. For any one that like romance or a good quick read then this isthe book for you.

This is a very sweet read that I really enjoyed. There is nothing worse than trying to be forced to do something you do not want to do by a very controlling person. In Vivi world it is her grandmother that tries her best to control all around even goes as far as to pick the man she should marry. One must make the right match lord are we back in the dark ages? Vivi has other ideas as she takes control of her life leaving town running as far and as fast as she can when she wrecks her motorcycle one man comes to her rescue taking her in and giving her a job. She is finally on her own free and clear or is she? There does seem to be some stranger hunting her down like a piece of meat leaving Brady with a ton of question and no answers. Brady might be easy going but he won’t be burnt again. He wants answers and he wants them now only Vivi isn’t giving much away.

I really liked how down to earth Vivi is and how the town pulled to her making her want to stay forever. Money isn’t so important when someone is pulling the strings making you dance to their tune. With her getting free and out from under her grandmother she could care less about the money or how important her family is. I really like her as a character. Brady can be a little frustrating even with knowing the how and why he can be a little too much at times. By the end of the story you will not only love these characters but the book you are reading.

I did enjoy the read I really loved the characters they really make the story interesting pulling the read in. I thought it was written very well with a good plot. I loved how the relationship built up and how the author made the trying times more interesting. The author does a very good job at keeping the reader entertained with a sweet read. I really enjoyed the supporting characters and hope to see them in future reads.

Vivienne Prescott has gone on the run from the life her grandmother has planned out for her. She comes from a powerful, and influential family that expects the right marriage, being seen by the right people in the right places, and to just comply without argument. Now that her parents are gone, it has really been brought home that it's an empty life, and Viv just doesn't want it anymore. After a wreck in a small town in Virginia, she starts to live a life that makes realize that she doesn't want to leave, plus meeting the sexy Brady, and his awesome family, she is willing to give up her whole inheritance for this life. Brady Richardson knows instantly that the beautiful woman who crashes her motorcycle is going to be trouble to him. He wants to get to know her, but in the same breath, he tries to convince himself that he should stay away. But when she steps in for one of his sick employees, nothing can keep him away from her now. But Brady is gun shy from being burned by lying women before, and he knows she's hiding stuff. When her secrets come out, will she be able to keep Brady?

This story was sweet, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. The character development is good, with a very colorful cast of secondaries. It did take me a bit to get attached to Viv, not to mention that Brady frustrated me on many levels, even though I understood why. By the end of the book, however, I was deeply in love with both of them together! Tamra Lassiter has an easy writing style that drew me in, and at a certain point, I couldn't put the book down for anything. Her added twists made for great OMG moments that came out of left field to shock me. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but I'm excited to read the previous, and future books in this series!

I have read quite a few of the author's books and loved them all. When I find an author I like I usually try to read their other books. A lot of the times the writing style of the older books is different from the newer ones. Sometimes I don't even finish them because they are so different. That isn't true of Tamra Lassiter's books.

In Trusting Fate, the story continues in the town of Davidson. This is the 5th book in the series "Role of Fate". The characters we've met in previous books are all here. This story is about Brady Richardson. Brady has been unlucky in love and had tried to put up walls to protect himself from being hurt again. That plan falls apart when Vivienne literally slides into his life.

Like Brady, Vivienne has problems trusting people. People have tried to take advantage of her for who her family is her whole life. When she meets Brady she is on a trip, trying to figure out who she really is and what she should do with her life.

Can these two troubled souls mend each other's hearts and find love in the process? You'll need to read the story to find out for yourself. The book is filled with great characters who you will laugh and cry with. I really enjoyed reading "Trusting Fate" and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review, but I'd have bought the book myself.

It was so nice to return to Davidson and catch up with all of the characters I've grown so fond of...

I am so happy that Brady finally got his story, and I loved every page of it! I've been rooting for him since the first book in this series!

There is lots of suspense in this one... secrets, trust, money, romance... it's got it all.

Vivienne literally crashes into Brady's life, and turns it upside down. They both have trust issues, and they're both fighting to try and get past those issues. I loved all of the ups and downs and in betweens while they try and figure things out.

So, grab yourself a copy of this book when it's released, find yourself a seat in a booth at Minnie's Diner and fall in love with the town of Davidson, Virginia! Go on Monday, I hear the meatloaf is pretty good ;)

I was given a copy from the author for my honest review... thank you so much Tamra, I loved it!

Viv and Brady's first meeting have actual sparks flying!!! Viv was a complex character to me because she appears confident and she should be but is also a scared young lady (I can see why she is). Brady (so glad he got his own book) has been duped one too many times and is "trying" to protect his heart. Loved how Brady's family took Viv in and played matchmakers. This author has a way with bringing in past characters without taking away from the current story line (love catching up with them). Viv's grandmother surprised me.

Secrets?

Be ready for shock, frustration, tears... lots of emotion. But in the end Fate knows what it’s doing!

I don’t know how she does it!! Each book could be read as a standalone, but holy moly read as a series...I WANT to go to Davidson... I cannot wait to read book 6.... what happens next???? Tamra has an amazing ability to keep her readers entertained and wanting more from start to finish. Once I start reading I cannot put it down (chores can wait right?).

This is such a great heart warming story about Vivienne (Vi) and Brady. I immediately fell in love with these two and the whole story had me longing for more when it was done. I have to admit though, this story definitely put me in the mood for some Christmas, so now I am so ready for it to be here! Tamra Lassiter has done an awesome job with this one. A down home lovely story.

Vivienne is trying to escape the life that her grandmother has planned out for her. Vi is not fond of her grandmother's choices, but no one in her family is up for going against their grandmother. Vi has decided to get a form of transportation and escape for a little bit. When Vi purchases a motorcycle, it goes against all the family rules and makes Vi feel good about being rebellious. When Vi is out one day on the motorcycle, she has an accident and ends up on the pavement in front of a restaurant. Brady comes out and helps with the accident because it happened right in front of his restaurant. When he sees Vi he is taken back at how pretty she is, but Vi doesn't really want to have anything to do with him.

When Brady insists that he take Vi to the local hospital to be checked out, Vi finally gives in. Brady knows that there is something special about Vi but he also wonders why she is so hesitant to give into her feelings as well. Brady is persistent and finally gets Vi to give into having some time with him. Vi ends up helping in the restaurant as a waiter and gets to know Brady's family because they treat her as one of them. Brady questions Vi about why she is being so reserved about herself and what she is hiding, but Vi insists that she is not hiding anything.

Come to find out that Vi is pretty wealthy and has done a very good job of hiding her wealth as well as her families. When Vi actually lets herself get close to Brady, something happens and throws it all off. I am not going to give anything away because you have to read this one for yourself and experience it as the story unfolds. I was so sad when this one came to an end. I was so happy and proud of Vi though! Such a strong woman and I admire her for being able to fend for herself. You will not be sad that you picked this one up to read it, I promise. Such a good read!

My Rating: ❤❤❤❤ (4 Stars)
Trusting Fate is and adorable love story between a beautiful heiress and a handsome small town restaurant owner. I would say that it is perfect for a holiday read.

Vivienne Prescott or Vivienne or Viv is the lovely heroine who is a super rich heiress that is on the journey to find herself. I like that she have this sophisticated way of speaking the way rich people usually speaks but she also have some kind of rebellious side of her especially with that big motorcycle of hers. She gives off some sort of mysterious vibe and I was really intrigued by her character.

Brady Richardson or Brady is the charming hero in this story and he is portrayed as a guy who had several bad relationships in the past which resulted in him having major trust issue. What I like about him is that even though he is having difficulty to trust Viv, he can't seems to stop himself from being attracted to her. And I really enjoyed 'seeing' him finally able to trust Viv and letting himself falling in love with her.

In sum, I think I pretty much like the story and I love Viv and Brady as a couple but I am also liking that warm and closeness feeling from Brady's family. It was super nice and wonderful and I love that. I would totally recommend Trusting Fate to contemporary romance readers who want a great feel-good-romance book and also want to indulge in the holiday spirits.

Trusting Fate is the 5th book in the (Role Of Fate) by Tamra Lassiter ,and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this touching story. Tamra Lassiter has given us a story that filled with lovely characters ,but at the same time this author has written a feel good book. This story continues in the town of Davidson and it has the characters from the previous books that we've met. This is Brady Richardson's story. Brady has always been unlucky in love, and he has always tried to put up a wall to protect himself from getting hurt again. But everything with the plan fell apart once he meet Vivienne ,but when she slides into his life his world changes. But Brady wasn't the only one that had problem trusting people . People have tried to take advantage of Vivienne ,because of her family and who they are. But when she meets Brady, she's on a trip trying to figure out what she needs to do with her life and who she really is? But can these two troubled soul's really fix each others heart ,and truly find love at the sometime. I could tell you more about this amazing story, but that would spoil it for you. But I highly recommend that you read this amazing story ,you won't be disappointed at all in this series.

DISCLAIMER: I read an e-ARC of this book

A restaurant owner, a runaway heiress. Cannot be anymore awesome than that.
Both Brady and Vivienne are great characters. I love how all the characters (from previous books) mingle with each other and know each other. Close like family. Tamra writes wholesome plots with the perfect amount of budding romance. I was super sick and this was the perfect book to distract me from my frog-like croak. Wonderful story and so want to know whose love story will be told next.
