Hello World I'm M.T.Harrte , and I live and breathe books. How cliche right? I fancy myself as a werewolf wrangler, troll trainer, and would be vampire victim. On a serious note I have always had a love of books since I was young. I recently decided to share my weirdness with everyone and I hope you enjoy. Step into my world and be prepared to stay a while because once the door closes....there is no escape!!!(insert evil laugh.)

I was lucky enough to be a beta reader for this book, and have now had the chance to read the finished version before it is released. Many thanks to the author for this opportunity.

At the end of book one, The Queen's Howl, Alexis Wolfe went through heartache when her daughter Anastasia was snatched from her by Mason, her ex and Anastasia's father.
He was helped by Olivia, her ex best friend, and Samira, the recently dethroned vampire queen.

By Alexis' side, as usual, in her quest to find her daughter are Palo, her werewolf bodyguard, and Thadius, a vampire guard who has sworn to protect the new queen.
Both Palo and Thadius hold a special place in Alexis' heart, but who will win it? Or will someone else take their place? There are certainly more than just these two vying for her heart in this book.

We see much more of Alexis' attitude come through this time, which I love. She takes no nonsense from anyone, and will use any means necessary to get what she wants.

We also find out a lot more about the surroundings Alexis now finds herself in -

".....headed down the hall where things tended to get weird, because the compound would change on its own. There weren’t but a few rooms that remained unchanged and unmoving. The rest would shift, disappear, or get larger."

“Well the compound is a living thing so to speak. It is full of energy and it responds accordingly. It caters to our intent. We intend to find the war room; therefore eventually we will get to it, even if it has moved. We can seek out what we are looking for, but ultimately it’s a coin toss whether or not we find it when we want to find it. It all depends on whether or not it wants to be found.”

"It was huge, as were most of the rooms I have been in on the compound. The table in the middle of the room was round, very “King Arthur-ish”. There were more tapestries on the walls and a large bookshelf running the length of the room. Some maps were spread out on the table with a thin layer of dust settled on them. This room must have been empty for ages."

The authors descriptions are almost magical and I can just imagine in my head exactly how each part, or room, looks due to those descriptions.

Alexis discovers that many years before there was only one court. However it split due to a long war and one became three - the Dark Court which she is queen of, the Light Court, and the Water Court. The three courts act independently of each other, with their own rules and lives.

It is decided that in order to strengthen her rule, and hopefully gain further support in her fight against Samira, Alexis must visit other colonies and look for assistance.
But, of course, all does not go quite as planned.

In the end she discovers there is only one way forward, and that is a dangerous one for her and those who follow her.

There are more than a few surprises along the way, most of which I wasn't expecting. The character descriptions, and those of the surroundings Alexis finds herself in throughout this book, are very well written.

This book is further strengthening the appeal of this series for me, and I cannot wait to see where the author takes it.

What a great, great book! I had the extraordinary opportunity to read this before it came out and I was impressed. I loved this more than the Queen's Howl. Alexis went thru quite a lot in the first book and this one is no picnic either. The story continues and wow, the twists and turns! This story kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down. And when it ended I sat there desperately wanting more! I cannot wait to see what this story has in store for these characters next!!!! <3

My goodness

Thoroughly enjoyed book 2 and can't wait to read book 3! I'm intrigued into finding out who the 4th mate is and if the wolf is actually Palo or Mason. What will happen to Mason

The Queen’s Revelation by M. T. Harrte is a very good book involving a very popular trend right now – werewolves and vampires.

This genre isn’t one of my favorites, you can ask my girls that I have tolerated Twilight and it’s many continuations, but I won’t let that hinder my review. A good book is never easy to put down!

M. T. Harrte does a fantastic job of keeping you engrossed in the story, going from one scene to the other, never letting you stop for a moment to question putting the book down. You just want to keep on reading!

The book was an easy read with lots of descriptive writing. There was some use of foul language so be prepared for that. It’s not excessive, but there. I really enjoyed reading the story and would recommend it to others as well.

This book receives 5 out of 5 stars!
