I had read this on AHA and when looking at books under this dear author's name today noticed that it was the only book of hers for which I had not posted a review so have reread it to have it fresh for such. Please note that again I don't usually give more than 4 stars to short stories. This book is about 26 pages long.

Darcy and Elizabeth are fated to meet over and over again on Valentine's Day: first in a stuck elevator (for 5 hours and they don't trade names; a second time when she leaves her credit card at a pricey restaurant & he is the one who finds it, (He reads her name on the card but neglects to take the opportunity to identify himself when he sees her come in to get her card. Valentines 2014 - It is at one of Bingley's parties (He manages to insult Jane). Then she manages a kiss the next year but it it to keep his attention on critical matters or for other reasons. Finale: the fifth time a storm snows them in at an airport and they finally wonder if they are missing chances on Valentine's Day.

There is a Sixth Valentine's Day and it is precious in its own story.

As Valentine's Day approaches this is one of those stories to so sweetly fill an hour or so when time is precious or you just want a "snack" before bedtime.

“Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.” Marcus Aurelius

This was an adorable unpublished work-in-progress that I had saved to read in February. I nearly forgot about it until I saw someone commenting on it.

I loved the Valentine take on our dear couple bumping into each other every year at the same time. Elizabeth and Darcy are so cute in their very first meeting. It was hilarious and I laughed until I cried. Every year it was something that brought them together. This modern take was full of names we know and love even if they were only mentioned and not seen. Soon Elizabeth began to think fate was having a hand in their meeting. The ending was so cute. I was actually hoping they would do that.

This was a clean romantic take on our P&P characters.

This is a modern day P&P variation short story that chronicles the meetings of Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet on 5 subsequent Valentine's days.

In the first they are trapped in an elevator but never exchange names

In the second they are both at the same restaurant / same table / different times /different people two break ups

In the third they are at a party at Charles' apartment

In the 4th they are on a remote highway in upstate NY

and the fifth you have to read it and find out

Two people randomly meet on Valentines Day multiple years in a row slowly finding out identities, mutual friends and love. It is a fun short story that uses the names and some modernized scenes fro Pride and Prejudice.
