Although rated Teen this book does include eating both races (such as elves and lizardmen) as well as creatures like spiders, deer, and bears (oh my!) I am not sure who rates these books but there is also some scenes and situations when breeding becomes a thing and even the main hero (if you can consider him that) has a fling with a Dryad before testing his stamina on a group of excitable human girls and one hobgoblin. After all he can turn the liquids of hi body into an aphrodisiac and due to his absorption power the abilities of slimes so you don't have to see the action. It is easily imagined and heavily implied.

Warning out of the way this book is a continuing the testosterone driven madness of the first volume continuing the fight between Gob-Rou and the Bear he discovered at the end of volume 1. After a long battle and some damage to himself Gob-Rou discovers he is ready to evolve into an Ogre thanks to the goblin's ability to evolve (if you've seen volume 1 you'll recall he started as a goblin.) Now even stronger and with an incredible luck Gob-Rou and his clan must take on new challenges and what better recreation to working hard then when you play hard as you will see if you read this title. FOr a basic beat em and eat em up this is not a bad series with an interesting fantasy world background that seems pretty much to be doing down the Dragonball cycle of protagonist gets stronger so he must seek stronger opponents, rinse, and repeat.

My favorite part would have to be when the elf jerk gets his just desserts before Gob-Rou does his usual recycling of bodies. :)

This volume contains day 35 to 54. (Ch 11 to 19)

Ecchi Meter: Medium. Nudity and sex

Mature Content: Cannibalism, gluttony and torture.

Synopsis: Rou has ranked up to an Ogre. In this volume the writer focuses more on the effects of Rou on the goblin community and his solo explorations.

Rating: (Out of 10):

Story: 7
The world building is great in this volume. We are exposed to new civilizations. We learn more about magic. The new skills that Rou has learnt are quite fascinating as well.

Character Development: 3
Most characters are very two dimensional. One exception to the rule is Kichi.

Art: 8
Rou looks really good as an ogre. Handsome ogres?! Who would have thought.

Should you read: If you have an aversion to echhi content, you should stop at the previous volume. Or maybe read the first chapter to get closure for the last volume. If you don't mind ecchi content, read on.

Will I read next volume: Yes

I'm not sure I want to admit that I'm reading this series. I want to give it both 3 stars and a -1. It's fascinating, and I'm dying to know how the story will end, but it's hiding some really gruesome themes.

The art is excellent and the story is engaging, but, there's drugs, torture, orgies, gladiator-style fights to the death, and extreme cannibalism, all hidden behind a story of pragmatic survival in an online fantasy-style setting.

The main character is a tall, dark, know-it-all, with a strange weakness for relationships. He's from a stereo-typical "bad" fantasy race, goblins, so, in comparison with the rest of his race, he's actually the good guy...maybe? He treats women like puppies, which is a total turn off.

The publisher's squeaking out a teen rating on the cover only because the pertinent scenes are implied or use vague outlines.

Dans la droite lignée du premier tome, je reste étonnée d'aimer autant cette série mais... c'est le cas.

The protagonist is way stronger than anyone else and that toke away any danger and that made the story sadly boring

This is a interesting story in my opinion, a unimportant guy is reborn a monster in a new land after getting murdered and powers up to survive and builds a monster army to help him. He starts as a lowly goblin and through battles ends up being one of the strongest monsters in the forest building his base of operations to start out to conquer and eat everyone and everything one step at a time. In this second volume we see the move to the royal capital and the start of the moves to spread the groups influence far and wide.
