Sleeping Lions - Complete Series - Shifters Prime

Living a Lion

Kane has been lied to his whole life. As the nephew of Darius Reinier, he thought he knew his place in the world, rich, eligible, he had his whole future mapped out. And then he finds out he is one of them. A shifter.

Does he still have a choice? Can’t he just hide from who he really is? Carry on as if the moon doesn’t call to him, doesn’t make him want to rip the flesh from his body and turn into … what? What is he?

She has the answers. Amara. Beautiful, curvy, dangerous. She will turn his world upside down, and also make it whole. If he can only find the strength to let go of his past and embrace his future. To become who he is supposed to be.
After a bitter war, the world is split, shifters live on one side of the border, humans on the other. Any shifter who enters the human world must where a collar, silver threaded with copper, to stop the chemical reaction triggering the change. They can own no property, and can never be treated as equals.

This is the world Amara finds herself in when she has to pay off her father’s debt. Despite having to wear the collar that keeps her lioness a shadow in her mind, she counts herself lucky, when her contract is bought by Darius Reinier. Her job working in his mansion is easy enough … until the moon beckons and she is thrust into the life of Kane Reinier.

But as she learns about Kane, she knows she has to help him, not least because it means she will be able to go back home to Shifters Prime, but because he happens to be her mate. Although he has no idea.

Can these two strangers learn to live together, will Kane master the beast that lives within him, and can he find the strength to avenge his past? Find out in Living a Lion.

Freeing a Lion

Despite a past she has been hiding from for two years, curvy girl Lottie joins an animal rights group to help the animals kept in appalling conditions in a nearby circus. But when she lifts the tarp, and takes a photo of the caged lion, what she sees will change her life forever.

Or should that be shift her life forever!

Tricked into being a circus lion by a sadistic lion tamer, Daniel is trapped, with no end to his suffering in sight. They have exactly the right kind of leverage over him to keep him under control.

But he longs to be free, to go across the border to Shifters Prime, and live like a normal shifter.

However, Daniel is about to find out that fate moves in very mysterious ways, and when a stranger looks into is cage, he knows she is his mate.

Can she help him escape? Can she help him achieve the impossible, and return to Shifters Prime?

When her past catches up with Lottie, it seems the rescuer will be the one in need of rescue, and who better to do so than a handsome hunk of lion flesh.

The only problem; you can only enter Shifters Prime with a visa, which she doesn’t have … unless you are a shifter … which she isn’t …yet!

Fighting a Lion

Misty has been released from her contract early, something she doesn’t question, until she glimpses the other side of Darius. In that moment, she understands he is a shifter too, stuck on the wrong side of the border. Only when she is kidnapped, does she realise the lengths other people will go to to discover the secret of the man who has kept her safe for the last two years.

Kieran is a cage fighter. And he’s good at it.

After reading book 1 in a box set i had to treat myself to the rest of the series.

Book 1 - Living a Lion - was brilliant Kane's life is turned upside down as he discovers he's been lied to his entire life. In one night Kane discovers he is a lion shifter, A Challenging threat means he doesn't have long to get used to his newly discovered beast within him.

Book 2 - Freeing A Lion - This time we follow Daniel as he is rescued from the circus he's been forced to work in for 2 years. He is on the run with little Lea they head towards Shifter Prime unknowing if they will be any safer there.

Book 3 - Fighting A Lion - Best one of the series.
One minute Kieran The fighter is about to celebrate his victory the next he's helping a mystery woman who's claiming to be his mate get to The border.

Really enjoyed this series made a nice change to see the women in the stories being just as strong if not stronger than their mates :)

Sleeping Lions

This is a different type of shifter book to what I'm used to, but that dosn't stop it being an excellent book. In this world the country is devised by a border, one side human the other shifters. Any shifter in the human side has to wear a collar to prevent them from shifting. Several years earlier a Lion killed a pack leader. His wife sent her 3sons away with different family members to keep them safe, she had to live with the man who'd killed her husband so he wouldn't hung them down. Now they are adults and coming home. Harmony Raines has written a very good and gripping story, if you like shifters you'll love this.

Ok

There is a lot of stuff going on in these 3 books. Sherif sucks for being an underhanded murder and wife stealer. However there were unanswered questions: what were Darius and Leandra doing the night Reamus was murdered? Who helped Sherif kill him because he's too much a coward to do it alone?

Survival, destiny and mates.....

Wonderful stories of how a woman who looses her husband to a murder that forces her to marry him and save her three sons sends them into hiding with three different people. These three books are the stories of their struggles, determination and fight to get back to Shifter Prime with their mates.

Good series

I liked this series, but it was not one of my favorites by Harmony. Some parts dragged, and the end of the first book was anticlimactic. I was a little shocked that it was over. It was still entertaining.

The boys are back but no longer boys.

Separated as young boys and sent away to save their lives from the murderer who killed their father and took over the pride, three men each find a mate and learn about family then find their ways home. It's not easy but worth the trials.

Erotic paranormal romance action mystery thriller

In a world where humans lived on one side of a line and were persons are delighted to the other side. The were are only allowed to work or visit the human side if they have a silver and copper necklace that does not allow the change to their animal. Three Prince's are smuggled to the human side to wait until they can remove the usurper and save their mother. One novel and two novellas bring the brothers back along with their mates. Well-developed characterization and well-written story. Adult readers due sexual and violent content.

I had read book one ages ago and when I saw the box set I was pleased to be able read about the other two brothers.
An interesting world of division between shifters and humans but I did dislike the amount of cruelty that was being done by both some humans and shifters. Seems greed and avarice cross all species.
Good cast of characters, a well written set of three stories that even though are separate flow continually and keep your interest.

Three Go Home

Each book in this series is devoted to the story of one son. Each story covers obstacles faced and conquered as well as finding their mates and living their lives as if each day was their last day. Each book is a continuation of the main story. I recommend this series. Enjoy!

Loved these three stories

Although each book is self-contained they are all part of the whole series which this box set is. Action and adventure throughout with lots of loving in between. There are some typos In the books but as a whole the story made up for it. Well written and very entertaining to read.

Not doing it

I usually like Harmony Raine's books but this series took too long to get to the good stuff. Even in the first book I found myself skipping around.
