This book has a lot going on in it, but it's captivating and the characters will keep you on edge throughout. Adalia is doing her best to make a go of her pastry shop, but it would seem that her best just doesn't cut it, and this makes her mad. The only problem is she always seems to direct her anger where it doesn't belong. Being angry and disappointed in herself, even though she's done the best she could with what she has had, doesn't help, and when Trent shows up seeming to like her, her anger tends to boil over onto him. But he's determined to have her, even when her ex shows up and interrupts. And lets not forget his assistant, the interfering Michelle Van Heerden. Will they ever manage to put the loosers behind them and make a go of a relationship that deep down, they both want?
Well written with lots of passion, you won't be able to put it down. But keep in mind, this is a series and book one is a major cliff hanger.
