I don't know why I didn't get into this one as much as the others. Maybe because there was more lecturing on dolphins then action, but otherwise it was educational and informative read. Brittany is really starting to annoy me though.

Chasing the dream is about dolphins. Jody the daughter of Craig and Gina McGrath loves dolphins and it is not just because her parents are marine biologists she just has a definite passion for them. Her parent’s being the researcher that they are travel around the world and study the different kinds of dolphins. Lasia a girl they meet at one of their stops travels with them to Jamaica where tons of dolphins are being held in captivity to be sold around the world and now they must try and save them.
My opinion of the book was ok because it was not as exciting as I thought it would be. It gave a lot of detail about the dolphins, which was good because I love to visualize and think about what they might look like if I was actually there. The book does explain the characters very well and what they are thinking and feeling.
My opinion of the book was it was ok not the best I have ever read and not the worst. It is a children's book so if you are into child like books then this is the one for you. I thought it was easy to read because it does not have small print and it uses a lot of non-big words just words that kids would know. If you are into dolphins read this book.

My favourite part was when the captured dolphins were set free from their small concrete pool in the hotels loud musical beach bar. The worst part was when the one boy dolphin, Chico, was hurting himself because he was sad. My favourite character was Jody because she explained to a lot of people why the dolphins should be free. The worst character was Senor Martinez because he was mistreating the dolphins

Another really good series of books by Lucy Daniels, I was completely in love with these books when I was younger. This series I particularly likes as it was Dolphin based ands they used to be my favourite animal when I was younger.

If you like animals you cannot help but love these books when you are a child.

I loved dolphins as a child, so back when I was in fifth grade I began this series. It's great for middle schoolers.
