Everything changes, in seconds, minutes, hours. I know, it happened to me. It wasn’t for the better, it was for the worst. I am broken, no that doesn’t sound right, I am chipped. Pieces of me have been chipped so bad that it’s impossible to claim them back. Even if I want to, even if its for her.

I'm saddened I couldn't rate this higher. I LOVE Black, I LOVE Rose and I LOVE Jake, but I had a very hard time connecting with Jake's story and Addy. :(

With the cliffy from Red, I expected Jake's story to begin with a BANG! I expected a little action as Black swooped in to save the day. Unfortunately, that not what happened. It was over so quickly, I wasn't able to relish in Black's awesomeness. A good point is that it cemented more of the fact that Jake is a trooper. I'm surprised his biker name wasn't Timex because that poor guy has been through some stuff and always comes out on top.

Now as for the storyline itself, it was too fast paced for me. I found it difficult to keep up or understand what was going on and who was playing who. It just seems rushed to me. And I just couldn't get on the Addy bandwagon. She didn't do it for me. I honestly though Jake deserved a better heroine and storyline. I loved how much he did for Black and Rose and wanted someone more deserving of him.

I am happy he got his HEA. He deserved it for everything life threw at him. I was just hoping for much more with this story. :-(

I still love the characters and I'm still a huge fan of the author. Looking forward to more from T.L. smith.

Scratch That Its A 5 Star All The Way As I Write My Review

If You Lay Still Enough, You Can Feel it, Hear It Pump And Pump.

One Beat...
To Too Many Losses.

Two Beats...
To Too Many Broken Hearts.

Three Beats...
To Those That Suffer.

Four Beats...
To Those That Lose Their Way

....TL Smith.

Wow!!! Just Wow!! And Now The Story Is Complete And Now Its Told Where Do We Go. Now That The Dark Worlds Of Jake And Black Are Complete. I Want To Say A Huge Bravo To TL Smith For The Awesome And Complete Story That I Have Honestly Loved From Start To Finish.

The Emotions Running Through Me As I Write This Review For White Is Quite Haunting Really And I Feel I Could Break And Not Stop For A While. I Loved This Book From The Beginning And I Loved The Last Part More Than Anything Else And That Is What Has Made My Emotions Rocket. (Enough Of That, Hold The Tears)

....."It's wrong. Nothing come from loving me. Only things get broken," he says oushing my hair away from my face.

"What if I'm already broken?" I whisper,

"Impossible..." Is all he says.....

.....TL Smith.

This Story Is Dark, Beautiful, Broken And Completely And Honestly Fucked Up And I Love It All. Jake, Although Seemed Dark And Broken I Didn't Expect Him To Be As Much As He Was. He Is Definitely On Par With Black In That Respect. You Have Lots Of Insight Into His Reasons And Also Into His Wrong Doings Too.

But Then She Rocked His World And We All Thought He Loved Rose, Well With Addy In The Picture, I Can Say My God He Wasn't Even Close To Loving Anyone But Her. Addy Was An Amazing Character And Fuck Did She Have Balls, Huge Balls I'd Say And She Was A Breath Of Fresh Air In That Dark World, Although She Lived Her Own Dark Path She, Managed To Show Jake The Light, The Right Path And Even Home.

He Was The Kink To Her Vanilla.
Dark To Her Light, But More Than That He Was Her Soul, Her Heart, Her Love. My God What A Beautifully Broken Love Story, Yes You Heard Me LOVE STORY. And If I Had A Chance On It. I Would Take A Love Like Jake's.

......"My heart has never beat for anyone as fast as it beats for you." He leans in and whispers those words in my ear.

.....TL Smith

This Is Honestly Hands Down One Of My Favourites Series I Have Read For Some Time And I Will Miss The Twisted And Colourful Life And Journey I Have Been On With Liam Black, Jake And Friends. A Must Read In My Honest Opinion.

Though this story is seperate to the others in the series, i feel like you would be better off reading the other books int he series as i feel it will give you the layout of the world better. It was good to see Jake get his story now and his interaction with Addy. No spoilers but these two are so different but bring out something so from inside each of them that brings them new life and also new dangers. A good read overall

"One beat...
To too many losses.
Two beats...
To too many broken hearts.
Three beats...
To those that suffer.
Four beats...
To those that lose their way."

Jake is lost, drowning in alcohol to numb the pain he feels but cannot escape. Falling in love with his make believe life; with a woman he cannot have, a family that will never be his and a facade of normal that will never be real has left him crippled. Running from the scene of the massacre of his sanity he finds himself holed up in a seedy bar, isolated from his MC and his real family - Black and Rose. Jake was not broken by his evil father that had his MC turn on him and torture him. He was not broken by being used as a pawn in a game that was bigger than he had imagined. Not broken by all he endured as Black was seen as the prize everyone fought for and sacrificed him to obtain. Loyal to his friend and his family it was eventually his love that broke him. Unable to live with the shards Jake has run away to glue his broken pieces back together the best he can.

Yet trouble is never far behind and yet again Jake finds himself as a target for others selfish motivations. Owing someone a favour he finds himself babysitting the barmaid that has helped keep him numb for months. Addy has her own problems and a few secrets too. Entrusting herself to Jake's protection after her past catches up to her can Addy retrieve Jake from the deep pit he has sunk into? Getting to glimpse the real man hidden beneath the brusque exterior Addy is tormented by her situation and the web of deceit she has woven. With Black hired to exterminate her, Jake sworn to protect her and Addy risking it all by trusting the wrong person time and time again will Jake realise Ge is worthy of a happily ever after just Yo lose it all?

White is the third in the Black series and is Jake's story of acceptance. Coming to terms with his place in this lifetime he has fought his demons and found his place, where he truly belongs. White is an angst filled, suspenseful read that is fast paced and full of unexpected twists and turns. My heart ached for the broken Jake that has suffered so much by being in the shadow of Black and yet loved him completely, meeting wavering in his loyalty to his friend. Addy...I wasn't a fan initially as I guess she just didn't measure up to Rose but she redeemed herself and won me over! it's hard to write a review and not spoil any of the plot as this story has a lot going on. Double dealings and everyone motivated by money, greed and lust. I am a huge fan of this series, I loved catching up with Black, Rose and their family. But Jake has earned a special place in my heart and I adored the epilogue and although it's bittersweet I felt it was a perfect end to his love story. I am in awe of this mind bending series that left me breathless. Bravo T.L. Smith you've done it again and delivered a fantastic five star read.

5 Kink and Vanilla stars

I was gifted this arc for an honest review, which I want to do spoiler free without revealing any plot.

TL Smith fans you need to get anxious, White is bloody brilliant.

I loved Black, I loved Red and now I am officially waving a black red and white flag of TL Smith surrendered to this jaw dropping read.

Jake, a misunderstood, misinterpreted guy and as the plot grows so does you're understanding of this broken but hard man. I loved Jake, the man in Black's shadow but after reading Jakes story he is more than deserving of a spotlight of his own.

"you don't need to change,Jake. You're not broken you just need stitches"

A read containing grit, darkness the stuff nightmares are made from and at the same time heartwarming. A well balanced emotional and gripping read that has you captivated by the characters.

Addy:
He loves so intensely, one of the deepest I've seen. Maybe because he's been broken, maybe because he knows what true pain is like.

Fans of Black and Rose don't worry you still get your fill, I liked how the characters Ide grown to love are still present in White.

Another brilliant read by TL Smith with great character's and a plot intense and unpredictable.

Addy and Jake are two wrongs that are so right.

"Vanilla with you that I can do"

White

QueenZany 4.5 Star Review

White
by T.L. Smith

T.L. Smith fulfilled my dark romance fix with “White.” Yes she is one of writers I often seem to stalk!! I fell hard for this series with Black! That was the first book I read by Author T.L. Smith. I was captivated by these characters from the start! So I had to continue with this series.
White truly show cases T.L. Smith’s growth as a writer. Her ability to a story like White! Which only became a vivid world in which you didn't want to leave! With all that grit, grime and lust. Oh can I say the heart murmurs it gave me! Then the oh shit I may die at some point or I want to beat a few people after! Hmmm Aww Just brings me a wicked smile to my face!!!

Recommended for Jake lovers only.

In the first two books in this series we met Blake and Rose and their story was really amazing !!!
During the books we got to know Jack and
of course I really wanted to read about him. well it was nice book and a fast reading...
maybe that was the problem, it was too fast and lack very important information.
The start was good very promising actually, but from the middle of the book it was really fast, I felt as if I was missing out on chapters. It really bothered me during the second half. I guess I'm glad that Jack got his happily ever after but I'm still in love with Blake.

White (Black #3) by TL Smith surpassed my expectations. I didn't think it could get any better than Black and Rose but WOW! Jake is just... GAWD! I loved him! He is my new favorite and the third book stole the number 1 spot. Move over Liam Black, it's Jake's turn to drive!

Jake. Here is a man who has been through it all. Heartbreak. Pain. Torture. You name it, he's experienced it. Broken, that's what he calls himself. But I couldn't disagree more. I believe Jake is strong. He would have to be to be able to go on living after everything he had endured. He sits in the same bar every night, drinking himself into an oblivion, just to keep his heart pumping. He does it to focus on anything but the only two people he has considered family because, well, he believes they deserve to be happy. And he can't be there to witness it.

"No. A love like theirs... It's a once in a lifetime thing. You either get the opportunity to witness it, or be in it. Never one in the same."

"You're all I have. And as sappy as that sounds, you're all I know."

Addy, the local bartender that Jake never bothered noticing before, sits back every night and serves this broken man his usual while she observes him. She knows he has demons and it seems as if he embraces the pain he has endured but she has some demons of her own and lots of secrets. She feels for him ... That is until he does notice her. Then, she just thinks he is an arrogant, cocky asshole.

Addy is forced to be with Mick, a man that she despises, and when she realizes she is being followed, she has no choice but to call him for help. And who does he send to protect her? The cocky asshole, Jake. Although she doesn't even know his name, yet, she goes with him. He is only doing it as a favor to Mick and she can't stand being around him, but Addy feels safe with Jake.

What happens when Addy chooses to stay with Jake instead of leave with Mick? Can Addy and Jake admit that there is something between them? Can Addy learn to get past her fear of Jake's sexual habits or will Jake be able to settle with Vanilla? I cannot urge you enough to read White and get all these answers for yourself!

This books has so many amazing quotes and to share just a few of my favorites...

"Kink sometimes, vanilla most."
"As long as I get to touch you, be inside of you, I will take you anyway I please, Sweetheart."

"My heart has never beat for anybody as fast as it beats for you."

"You don't need to change, Jake. You're not broken, you just need some stitches."

"I'm glue, baby, you're just the paper. I can hold us together, even if you try to force us apart."

With so many twists and turns and Addy and Jake's pasts and secrets being revealed, I couldn't tear myself away from this story. We get our usual twisted darkness from TL Smith but the romance was enough to weaken me at the knees. Jake and Addy now hold a special place in my heart and will not be forgotten. I really wish there were more stories to be told in the Black series but I fear this is the end. I guess I'll just have to reread the series when I begin to miss Jake and Liam. Lol Definitely my all-time favorite of TL's and I can't give it anything under 5 stars! Beautifully written.

Voto 4,5

#Jake

I loved the absolute shit out of this book, TL Smith has done it yet again, White is the story of Jake Hammer and is cleverly told from dual perspectives of both Jake and Addy. Cheers to you lady on yet again another Great Book. (Remind me to never piss you off)

This books take you to a very dark place of Jakes inner soul and will explain why he is the way he is, at this point I'm really not sure weather to high five TL or run scared shitless though just sayin.

Very early on you are transported through the intricate details of Jakes past and new tortures (you need to read Black and Red) to understand.
You also gain more glimpses into how much Black has changed (and yes indeed, how he hasn't) and also the things that Jake has not only seen but also done are enough to scare anybody until he sees her, until he sees Addy.....for mere weeks, months he would go to the same place and just drown out everything until moments of his dark, dark soul would consume him. What Addy sees scare the crap out of her, where is it that he goes to when he blanks over? Why does his hands and face fist like they are in the deepest pain? And what good can possibly come from any kind of interaction with this man?

And that's exactly what Jake thinks when he realises he's got a live one with Addy, she does not fit my world, I'm far to Damaged and Broken to think any good will come of this but fuck does he want her!!

Will she be able to see just exactly how broken I really am, can she satisfy all of his needs and kink in the bedroom? I'm not sure that's a risk he's willing to take, or will the very essence of Addy get under his skin no matter who she is currently with.

There were elements in this book that both shocked and surprised me (no, not all bad people) some really really good. Without giving to much away because yes you need to read for yourself this book is now an absolute favourite of mine!! #Jakeforlife

"I’m the ice that gives you frostbite, that will burn if you touch me long enough. I’m not the sun that shines brightly. I burn, even in the beauty.”
Yes! She did it again! T.L. Smith has worked her magic once again! After Black and Rose's journey, now it's time for Jake and Addy's, and what a journey they had... It is hard to write spoiler free reviews to T.L.'s books so here it is, hopefully spoiler free:
After everything Jake went through, he drowns himself with alcohol and random f*ucks. He doesn't believe his broken soul can be fixed until he meets Addy.
Another broken soul that hardly knows how to get through another day after being sold by her father to a total monster of a man.
One thing leads to another and Jake and Addy find themselves together, on a ride for peace, healing and maybe even love.
I loved Jake! I loved his whitty way with words, even when he's down. I loved the way he opened up his heart and soul to the unexpected thing named Addy, I just loved him...
“Well, I guess relationships are like farts, hey? If you gotta push them, all you get is shit.”
This series couldn't been ended better, and the fact that I finished that book wayyy faster that I usually do, says a lot. If I had to point for one thing that bottered me, it must be the fast lane that Addy took from hating Jake to having strong feelings for him. But, who can judge her? Hell, Jake is HOT! LOL
Thank you T.L. for another book that held me captivated from the first page. Can't wait for your next one!

I really liked Jake but this book didn’t give me all of the feelings that the first two books did. I think it’s because his relationship with Addy kind of came out of left field and then they didn’t really mesh until halfway through the book. But overall I was happy with their storyline and how things ended up.

*!SPOILER ALERT!*

E inizia a

So

Lo so.»

Woo, this was a mess.

There was so much packed in this book. Nothing felt connected. Strings of random details were supposed to tell a story, but nothing really fit.

We know Jake from the first two novels... the Jake who so desperately loves Rose. Jake... the kind man, albeit a biker-club guy, who rearranged his life to take care of another man's love after the other man is thought to be dead. He helps to raise her kids and helps her build a not-for-profit to aid female addicts and victims of abuse. Yeah, that Jake.

Then we have this book's Jake, the one so "broken" that he can't function. He's an alcoholic, a loner, a victim of PTSD who "goes to that place" where his eyes are vacant. Oh yeah, and he likes pretty sadistic sex, dabbling in choking and knife play. What? When did all this happen?

I mean, yeah, I know he was tortured under the orders of his father, but if that was so troubling, how come the perfect and loving Rose never had any inkling of his pain from his past? And then his brother kidnapped and tortured him, too, on a separate occasion, but it was a bit mild comparatively speaking. There's no mention of his "brand of kink" anywhere before. (BDSM aficionados should be screaming about how inaccurately and irresponsibly this book handles the "S" in the BDSM.)

Ok, so then there's Addy. Her backstory makes absolutely no sense. She was sold to a biker gang by her rich father to punish her for refusing to marry some guy who should have sealed a business deal for the dad. Yeah, right. Oh, and she is responsible for the wreck that caused her mother's coma/death (which may be what fuels the dad). And she knows self-defense moves that take down like 5 bikers at once, but has never used them on the biker dude who "owns" her. And that biker who bought her? He's using her to spy on Jake (why? We never get the story), and then said biker asks Jake, the "pres" of a rival biker gang, to babysit her when someone might be trying to kill her. Black admits someone hired him to kill her (wait, I thought he wasn't doing that anymore.), and then he states the hit was cancelled (again, we don't know why or by whom.). These deets just kept getting revealed when it was convenient, kind of like the author thought of them randomly and inserted them on a whim.

Questions never get answered. Facts don't add together. It was all so strange because it didn't flow. It felt so different than the first two books.

Because of the mess listed above, I never bought into the love between Jake and Addy. It was not believable at all. The end was just too sad for the HEA they were sorta-kinda granted.

I should have stopped at Red. I wasn't really a Jake fan in the other books, so I'm not sure why I forged through. I don't get the plentiful high ratings, but apparently, I don't play the same game as everyone else.

** ARC received in exchange for an honest review **

Wow!! I have no words, but wow!!!!
White is...everything. Everything I could ever have imagined it would be plus more. What TL has delivered is just....perfection!!

Heart-breaking...
Breath-taking...
Just...perfect!!!

Raw, dark and intense. TL will take you on an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you breathless and your heart soaring. Jake could not have had a better story than what TL has delivered.

We see Jake at his worse. In Black and Red we get a glimpse into Jakes life, but in 'White' everything is revealed...and by god is it not pretty. What he's been through,
it's brutal..
It's dark...
It's disturbing.
You really begin to understand why he is the way he is.
He thinks he's "broken beyond repair", that is until a certain bartender challenges him.
She's the glue to his paper, the vanilla to his kink and she will be the stitches he needs to heal, even when he tries to rip them apart.

I loved 'White'. Absolutely it. I don't think there is anything I can fault. The writing is incredible and grips you from the very beginning. You feel everything, from the tingling in your fingernails at the beginning (you'll understand what I mean. Believe me) to the sheer heartbreak Jake goes through as well as Addy. I cried. I cried so much, in pain, in heartbreak but also in love and happiness.

TL I love you. I love your writing, I love your mind consuming stories but I also love that you always give your heroes the best and deserving end they could ever have.

Thank you. From the bottom of my heart Thankyou!!!

A truly truly phenomenal book from an equally phenomenal author. But now it's finished.
Jake and Black have consumed my every thought from the very beginning and I am gutted that it's finally over. What do I do now? I'm in a serious series hangover!!!

Still speechless days later on this book. We got to see Jake's story in this book and wow I knew he had feelings for Rose, but was not expecting this story. He is a true man even with his dark sides to care for Rose and her kids while Black is gone for those few years.

Addy love her, she gives him a run for his whiteness and how they each gave a little to get to the point of his dark side he craves and her soft side she deserves. Once again, T.L. kept those twist flying at us and has you on the edge of your seat gasping and then smirking at Rose or Addy.

Of course we get a twisted HEA that our author loves to curve at us. This is the area I wish to speak of and can't or it would give spoilers and you won't get that from me. All I can say is I'm glad they got a semi HEA and wished it could have turned out differently cause they both deserved this at least once in their lifetime together.

I will say that although this is a part of the series, that you truly don't have to read book 1 and 2 as that is Black and Rose's story. Yes, Jake is throughout those books, but this is his story and while certain events continue in this book, I still would have understood it without knowing the background. Though you will be wanting to read all the books anyways cause these dark reads are so good you will want the whole story. You will truly be seeing the colors black, red and white reading this series. Think paintball splats being hit at you with your feelings is how I can best describe the feelings you endure reading this series.

Had promise...

It's not a bad book, has an interest in plot. I just felt that a few things could have used some filling out because they were just kind of glossed over.

*SPOILERS*

- Her dad does not seem the type to just roll over and take being ousted out of his empire that he worked his entire life to build and maintain....

- their connection just kind of went straight from don't touch me/I only want to f*** you to I'm addicted... They didn't grow into it like Black and Rose. I feel like the way the author writes needs that slower connection because she "tells" more than se "shows." If she "showed" more, then an instant connection may have flowed better

- Why exactly did she not like being called sweetheart? Did someone call her that before and screw her over and make her not like the pet name or does she just have a natural aversion to it?

- How is it that easy to get out of the MC?

- Why exactly does she refuse to move back to wherever Jake lived? Nothing that bad happened to her... I mean... Rose I could understand, Jake I can def understand wanting to get away from anywhere that reminded him of his torture... But her? Meh...

- He got over her spying on him pretty easily. They never even discussed exactly what info she related to Mick, when exactly she stopped her espionage....

- She did not go into very good detail on how Mick was behind Robbie torturing Jake. She just quickly mentioned it and skimmed over it.

Overall, I liked the book, it just didn't hit it out of the ball park.

My feelings:

In the previous instalments of this enthralling series, we have been whisked away into the passionate and tumultuous love story of Black and Rose. Naturally, I was eager to delve into the next chapter featuring Jake, a character who had captured my interest in those books.

“I’m glue, baby, you’re just the paper. I can hold us together, even if you try to force us apart.”

The story itself flowed effortlessly and was easy to read, almost too easy. It rushed through important moments and lacked crucial details that would have made it truly satisfying. While the beginning held great promise, the second half hurried by without fully exploring pivotal moments, leaving me yearning for more depth.

“He will kill us both if we have sex on his bed again.” “Oh my God, that was Black’s bed?”

Despite this, I am content knowing that Jake ultimately found his happily ever after, even though my heart still belongs to Black.

“Well, I guess relationships are like farts, hey? If you gotta push them, all you get is shit.”

It was so important to me that Jake has his own story, I can truly ignore some bumps in the story road.
His way of talking and his view of the world and life made me so curious in the two books of Black and Red.

You can tell that this story wasn't really planned and that it's not polished in some places, but whatever, that's Jake's life, too. But in his way he is awesome like he is, big show for everyone and hidden deep scars only to himself but a honest soul to those who count.

I'm not happy with Abby. Don't misunderstand me, I really like her and in her opposition to Jake she's superior. Only I lack in kind of depth, the deep background , why she's as she is and act as she acts. the small indefinite quantity statesman of message to follow her without a problem.

All in all Book #3 White is a 4 Star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ with an extra 🌟 for Jake.
The 3 book 📚 Serie is over all in whole a sparkling ✨ 5 Star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 especially because it's hard work together for a HEA and these books shows the hard and bumpy road of life.

With every book T.L. writes she goes from strength to strength. Her storytelling is so in depth that once you start the journey she takes you on it's impossible to stop.

Jake was always a character that held my interest. We knew there was something deeper to him. Something simmering under the surface. The attraction he feels towards Rose and her family is heart warming. He takes her family on as his own. Protecting them with everything he is. But when meets Addy everything is going to change.

Addy is just as broken and messed up as Jake. The chemistry they share is nothing short of thrilling. When the two are together they are a force to be reckoned with. Addy has secrets of her own, some that you will never see coming. Like a true mastermind at story telling, T.L. doesn't forget to add her trademark twists and turns.

If you thought Black and Red were good, just wait for White! It's going to blow you away.

Since the first book Black I have been hooked. Then Red I waited it felt like forever to get more of Black, Rose and Jake. So when White hit my kindle is dug in and I am so not disappointed with Jake and Addy story. We get the depth of Jake's demons he carries with him and they are just as dark as Black's. When Jake meets the only women to stir something inside him it's going to take him getting a hold of his demons so he doesn't scare Addy away. Addy is also dealing with secrets and it scares her with how drawn she is to Jake. His touch calms her makes her feel safe and it's been a long time since she has felt safe. Can two broken people be what each one needs to stitch up those pieces and make the whole. I don't want to say goodbye to these Characters but I know I have too. I recommend this book and series 100%.

Wow, what can I say other than she's only gone and done it again!
Another absolutely phenomenal read by TL Smith. If you love Black and Red well this is not to be missed. It's raw, it's gritty and oh my gosh is it emotional? Yet again TL Smith managed to rip out my heart and somehow put it back together. I don't think I'll be the same after this series.
Jake and Addy's story is a perfect conclusion to the series. You can't predict how you will feel reading this book, it takes you on a roller coaster of emotions.
It's gripping, it's definitely a page turner, once again I could not put it down. I even cried a little.....who am I kidding I was almost cried my leg off!
Let TL Smith whisk you away for a few hours to a place where everyone isn't perfect and everything isn't pretty. A place where you can be broken but being broken together makes everything somehow ok ❤️

Another great story in this series…

White (Black #3) is the third book in this series by T.L. Smith and is just as good as the first.

This is the much-awaited story of Jake, a guy who is totally misunderstood and completely broken. Jake is always in Black’s shadow, but their friendship is honest and real.

This read is dark, gritty and intense and also warm and enlightening. Without giving too much away and spoiling it, he really does come into his own as the story progresses.

Black makes an appearance in this as well as Rose and a few others so you will not be disappointed.

Great book, awesome strong characters, and a plot you will not see coming.

This series is a must read, this book excellent and well deserving of five stars.

I was looking forward to reading this book so bad but I was so so disappointed.

I absolutely HATED Addy. I didn't like ANYTHING about her. She was no match for Jake. I didn't feel the chemistry at all. The ONLY reason I kelt reading was because of Jake, Black and Rose.

Sorry but this one feel so off the mark fro mother other books. ☹️
