Too forced funny, lots of things happening, fast-paced, characters too weird for me to make a connection whatsoever. In the end it balanced out, mostly.

Only read the first of the three novels in this book, but I intend to read the other two as well.

It's a nice story that reads fast and easy but stays behind it's potential. The plot is very predictable and the language rather simple. The characters stay a little flat, as you don't really get to know a lot about their past, same for the setting of the story itself. Maybe this is different if you are familiar with the shadowrun world.

All in all reading only the first book felt like watching an random episode of some tv show. It was quite enjoyable, but left me with a lot of unanswered questions.
