This book is not only super nice but there is also a flash tat of an alligator smoking a cigarette that someone will have to try and talk me out of getting
Holy crap--was thinking this was going to be another basic flash, generic history book but it is wayyyy above that. First of all the binding is gorgeous leather like maybe real, with metallic embossing for the outside designs. Inside is a great collection of modern tattooists, with a large range of styles, followed by super high quality model shots where both the guys and gals play with masculine and feminine sexiness and show the possibilities of fitting the ink to the client. I'm not a tattoo artist or even apprentice, so you can take my words with a pile of salt, but it's really such a lovely and worthwhile book
I've picked this book out of curiosity. The book binding is amazing! It seems to be a really soft leather to the touch with a gold tattoo design by one of the artist mentioned inside of it. The most part of the book is a presentation of different tattoo artists' styles. The names are hard to read under their designs under a normal light but an UV lamp will come in handy while browsing the book to read the yellow ink more clearly. Overall a very interesting book which might inspire some people to start a tattoo portfolio or career or perhaps like me, to peak a bit into the world of tattoo artists.
Great book. I have learned a lot of information as I am going to open my own tattoo saloon and now in the process of looking for new equipment including kits, pens, and so on. Now looking for kits at https://inkedway.com/best-tattoo-kits. This book gives enough information to make the process easier. Thanks to the author.
This book offers beautiful flash sheets and insightful Q&As with well-known tattooers. I appreciated the information and artistry throughout, but it reads more like a coffee-table book than something you’d sit down and study closely. Still, it’s a visually striking, informative addition to any tattoo lover’s collection.
