Belle Calhoune writes heartwarming, inspirational romance novels set in small, cozy towns. Married to her college sweetheart and living in southern Connecticut, she is the mother of two girls. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she is one of five children. Growing up across the street from a public library allowed her to become an avid reader who aspired to be a romance writer. When she isn't writing, she enjoys reading, spending time in Cape Cod, traveling and enjoying time with friends and family.

This is a Clean Romance, and this is the fourth book in the Alaskan Grooms series. I loved this book much. One of the main characters, Ruby, had lost her memory due to an accident that everyone know her thought she die in. After two years of her husband, Liam who is a doctor in a small town in Alaska and their children living with thinking she was die then Ruby shows up in the remote Alaskan town that her family lives in. I felt this is a cute and sweet story of a woman finding her memories and getting her life back. I love the characters in this book, and this small town sounds so cute. Great story with great characters and a cute small town.

I am thoroughly enjoying everything about this series! Liam and Ruby's story was charming, and it was great to see Ruby return from being presumed dead for the last two years. This was quite the story-it's definitely not your typical romance! It's a fun read and I can't wait to read more of this series.

Thank the LORDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!! I am finally done with this book. The husband sucks. Trip on a knife. Everyone else is amazinggggg (Not actually--they were incredibly boring. I think the gingerbread cookie I ate today was more intriguing)!!!! Screw you Liam.

The only good think about this book was complaining about it to Sarah at midnight (sorry for keeping you up...).

Anyways... looking forward to forgetting about this.

After two years of mourning the loss of the love of his life, Liam gets the shock of a lifetime - Ruby is alive, just can't remember him or their life together. This is the basis for a different, unique kind of second chance story as Liam and Ruby are trying to find out will the new memories be enough to build a future on, or are the shadows of the past always going to be around.
I can't imagine the agony and angst Ruby must live with, knowing that everyone else has a point of reference that she has no clue of. Her struggle was well described without giving it the spotlight in the story. Her uttermost faith in God, and trusting Him to guide her through the struggle, the maze her life turned into, was admirable and her way of dealing with the hurdles were logical and real.
Liam and Ruby were both characters easy to like, they both seemed straightforward and uncomplicated, but deeper waters were running there. As they reacquaint themselves with the other again, not all the revelations are perfect and pleasant and they have to find a balance and compromise to move forward, to find peace.
I admired their faith, their trust in God, the love for the family and community is apparent. The emotions were high as expected with this kind of storyline, but the overly emotional moments less frequent as people started to understand the challenges the family faced with their new chance to do life with Ruby again.
From sweet fun with the family to tender love in the romance, Christmas traditions, and Alaska life, the story takes a journey that will test the faith, but through the fire delivers with a new hope and an even better chance for the future if you just hold on to your convictions and make few adjustments on your priorities.

This is book #4 in the series of Alaskan Grooms. I, like others, was totally expecting Liam's story to be like the others, even though Liam (in the other books) has been married and we know that his wife died during a search & rescue operation in Colorado 2 years previously. In previous books, Liam has had to deal with his grief and raising his young son alone. As I said, I was expecting Liam's story to be where he finally "turned a corner" and was ready to get married again so he would find a woman who comes to Love, Alaska like the other books in the series. Imagine my surprise when his "deceased wife", Ruby, shows up with amnesia! She is drawn to this town and doesn't know why exactly but is astounded that everyone knows her! Once things are explained to her, she tries hard to "fit in" but her memories do not come back and she struggles. This book was a very good look at how a situation of amnesia could be. Ruby's memory doesn't "magically" come back in a week or anything but she has to trust and have faith every step of the way. Although Liam is very happy she's back and their young son, Aiden, is ecstatic, nothing is easy and I like that immensely about the book! There were many things to work out and I liked how the author chose to show the struggles and the joy because it would take both. I was skeptical at first but the story was written very well and I enjoyed it a lot!

Reunited at Christmas is book 4 in the Alaskan Grooms series by Belle Calhoune. Its a love story about a husband and wife who find their way back to love after tragic circumstances. I really loved this book. I'll admit I'm a sucker for Love Inspired Alaskan books and this one did not disappoint. I loved the twist in this book. In the previous 3 novels, we believe that Ruby is dead and poor Liam needs to come to terms with her death. I assumed that Liam would get his own book. It is a series after all about the eligible men in Love, Alaska. I thought he would meet a nice young woman who has answered the ad for Operation Love. Someone seeking a new life and a hubby of her own. Someone who will help him heal over losing the love of his life and be a mom to Aidan. What I did not expect is that Ruby is indeed alive and has amnesia! I loved this twist. I love the idea of Ruby having no memories, but still finding her way back to Liam and Aidan. It was a fresh take. I loved watching these two people who loved each other so much before, fall in love again despite the changes that they have gone through. I think anyone who has a bit of romance in their soul will love this book!

It's been two years since the Liam's wife Ruby gone missing during a search and rescue, that left her missing presumed dead. Now shes back with amnesia and working on getting her memories back. Liam knows their history is rocky with the hopes that if he doesn't' tell her things will be as they were when they were once happy.

Apparently this book is apart of a stand alone series, and with how good this book turned out I think I'll be going on the hunt for the previous books on the other friends loves stories. This was a sweet clean romance. Seeing Ruby's memories as they came to her was interesting. I liked getting her past as she saw it, it gave that character a bit more depth and I loved her character more because of it. I thought it was interesting getting to konw what she was doing when she was missing, getting a bit of what her life was when she was on her own. I loved seeing how sweet it was when the family was finally learning how to be together. I liked seeing how they handled situations that were coming her way. Overall a pretty good holiday story.

Love, Alaska is the setting of this sweet and cozy Christmas story. It's the fourth book in the series and even though I have not read the other books yet this book is a great stand alone read.

Liam Prescott is the local town doctor. He has managed to get through life for the last two years as a single dad to his son Aidan after his wife Ruby is missing and presumed dead from a tragic avalanche. Ruby proudly loved her job as a search and rescue team member.

Life is turned upside down again when Ruby resurfaces and returns to Love with very few memories due to amnesia after her accident.

This sweet couple has to work through issues of faith, love and trust and you will cheer them on and believe in the power of love right along with them.

I also love how descriptive the author drew in readers to the town of Love. It made you want to go and visit there!

This feel good love story will warm your heart for the holidays.

This story had many plot holes. M C survives an avalanche, ended up miles away with amnesia. She's sheltered by an off the grid mysterious, hobbit sounding couple who nurse her for months. She is well enough to get a cash only waitress job and somehow decides to go to a small town in Alaska. That's the original town. But she had been declared dead and hadn't checked for missing persons. She clicks on this new town despite having allowed two weeks for a visit. She never deals with the job from Denver, the people who saved her, her final pay, her place of living there in Denver, contacting her therapist. She moved in with her old family and never canceled her b and b reservation. She couldn't have had a credit card. So how did she book a plane ticket and private flight to the town or anything else. She has no actual feelings for her husband or little boy. Bottom line, you need to actively suspend disbelief to accept rhe premise that love conquers all.

Reunited at Christmas: Alaskan Grooms book 4 is by Belle Calhoune. This is perhaps the best of her books in this series. It certainly kept me reading until I was finished. It is definitely about second chances.
Liam Prescott was only thinking of making this Christmas the best for his five-year-old son, Aiden. After losing his precious wife, Ruby, two years ago, he felt he needed to do this for Aiden. However, he could never forget his love for Ruby and the crushing avalanche that took her life. As he was walking back to his office after lunch, his brother Boone, the sheriff, called him. The call was not clear; but the emotions came through. Liam knew something had happened and he needed to get to the sheriff’s office immediately. It definitely had, Ruby had returned alive.
Ruby Prescott had been a member of the search and rescue team and had gone on a mission to Colorado. An avalanche had come down and had taken the lives of four team members. Only one body had been recovered. As it turned out, Ruby had come to in the woods of Colorado without her memory. She had been taken in by a couple who lived off the grid without phone, television or internet. They had no idea who she was nor that she was being looked for. Eventually, she left them and went to Denver. After seeing a program on television about Operation Love conducted by Love, Alaska, she felt the need to go to Love. It seemed to pull her. Maybe she could find answers here. Would she be happy with those memories which do return?

This is the fourth installment in the Alaskan Grooms series by Belle Calhoune, but this one can be read as a standalone as well. I have not read the other in the series before this one and was not lost in this one at all.

Liam was focused on making little Aiden's Christmas the best he could make it with his mother having been killed two years earlier. Liam never will forget his love for Ruby though and plans to help Aiden keep her memory alive as well. When Liam walks back in to his office after being gone for lunch one day and gets a call from his brother, the sheriff. Boone tells Liam that he needs to talk to him and Liam can tell that something is going on by the way Boone is talking.

Ruby wanders back into her hometown after being gone for two years because of an avalanche that everyone thought claimed her life. Ruby has permanent amnesia from the accident so she does not remember anyone or anything from her past.

When Liam and Ruby are reintroduced, Ruby begins to fall in love with Liam all over again. Will things get back to how they were for this sweet couple? Ruby feels that LIam is hiding something from her though. Will this keep them from rekindling their old flame? You have to read this one to find out if Liam and Ruby get their HEA. I thought this one was very well written and makes you believe in second chances!

On the surface this was a nice, clean Christian romance, which I appreciated but a lot of the situations were too ridiculous and implausible to take seriously.

A lot of the writing was also a little silly with the author always stopping and describing what someone’s lips or eyebrows were doing or that their warm, chocolate eyes were worried and other ridiculous stuff like that.

Also, a lot of the chapters had characters just rehashing the same old information over again and again so there was very little new content.

Christmas Surprise

No one is shocked more than Liam when he sees a woman that could be his deceased wife's twin. He knew a twin wasn't possible and his wife died in an avalanche while on a search and rescue mission. There are sparks when they meet and tears when she sees her son. But that's just the start. Can a woman who doesn't know who she learn to love the man who knows her better than anyone else.

Search and rescue volunteer Ruby dies in an avalanche. Or so her husband and child believe for 2 years. Then she returns, but with amnesia. This was quite a different story, with both of them trying to keep their distance, until she fully recovers and finds out they had been having problems. Somehow, they have to find their way back to each other. I liked the book. I won it in a drawing and my review is voluntary.

A Holiday Must Read!!

Fall in love with the people of Love, Alaska, this Christmas season!

Some say you only find one true love in life. Well, for Liam Prescott this is certainly true. He and his one true love Ruby, met, got married, had a son, and had what seemed to be a perfect life, that is until one day, she is buried under an avalanche of snow and considered dead for 2 years.
For Liam, and his son Aidan, their lives have been left with a huge void. A void that is hard for Liam to face every day, but especially around the holiday. Little does he know this dreaded holiday is about to be turned completely upside down when a Christmas miracle brings his wife and Aidan's mother back into their live and the town of Love, Alaska.
The only problem is, she has amnesia and doesn't recall much of anything about her previous life, not even her husband or son. But with a little bit of help from her son, husband, and friends, none of which she remembers, her memory does slowly begin to resurface and just in time for Christmas. Will Liam and Aidan get their Christmas miracle and have Ruby back in their lives for good, or will old memories threaten to break up this family that is trying so hard to reunite?
This book is the fourth book in the Alaskan Grooms series, but can be read as a stand alone book. I highly recommend this great Christmas read!

Liam has been grieving his wife, Ruby, for two years and trying to be the best single dad to their little son. So he's shocked to walk into the police station and see his late wife sitting in a chair with no memory of who she is, or that she's married with a son. She moves into the spare bedroom in their home in hopes of regaining her memory and reconnecting with her son. Yet something seems to be missing from the puzzle pieces she's given by her husband Liam. It's like he's keeping a secret.

This was an interesting, if unoriginal, plot. I enjoyed the story and thought the author did a great job of creating some drama between the couple. She was able to share some of the frustrations of a person with amnesia that I hadn't thought of before. I liked the little boy and the extended family and friends that helped round out the story. But there were so many people to remember and so many back stories that I felt like I was missing something almost every time the main characters interacted with one of the other people. I wouldn't really call this a stand-alone because of that. Overall, it was a nice story that, while not gripping, is quick entertainment for those who like clean romance with a Christian element.

Imagine that you lost the love of your life, the mother of your child in an avalanche. Her body is never recovered, but after an amount of time has passed, she is declared dead. And your world crashes around you. Fast forward to two years from that tragic time...someone walks back into your life that looks, talks, acts like your "deceased" wife, but she has absolutely no idea who you are or the life you had together. This is the story that takes place in this book!

I was totally drawn into this book from the beginning. I felt like I was in Liam's shoes as he felt his world spinning out of control when he saw Ruby for the first time since her accident. The whole time I was rooting for Ruby to recognize some kind of a spark of what they used to share together and for them to become a family again.

This was a wonderful read, and I highly recommend it!

I received an advanced copy of this book. This is part of a series of Alaskan grooms by Belle. I have read the first 3 and I was excited to read this one. I enjoyed this story, as I have the other ones. These characters seem more real to me. I can imagine the struggles this couple faced in their marriage. I enjoy the family dynamics of the extended family also.
The setting being Christmas in a small town added a touch of magic, but I really do not get to experience that where I live, so I just adore this part of the story.
If you haven't read the first 3 books, you will still be able to follow this story, but the other ones are just as good. I hope that Belle is able to write more books in this series.

Just finished reading Reunited at Christmas by Belle Calhoune. Set in Love, Alaska, part of the Alaskan Grooms series, readers are immediately met with a shock. I admit, I did not read the synopsis before reading the book so I was surprised to learn Ruby had survived the search and rescue mission two years before but had no memory. In dealing with the emotional turmoil brought on by these events, everyone is reminded to rely on God to get you through tough times. Most importantly, the book examines how faith can help you deal with grief, anger, and turmoil in relationships. As per usual, the diversity presented in Belle Calhoune’s stories is much appreciated.

I was so excited that Liam and Ruby got their own story! This is the fourth book of the wonderful Alaskan Grooms series that are set in the lovely Alaskan town of Love. This book is particularly fascinating to me, having had a similar friend who suffered from amnesia after an accident, and, like Ruby, could no longer remember her marriage. The author so beautifully weaves the story around God’s truths of forgiveness & second chances, and of the ever-faithful God working and guiding us, in spite of our flaws or mistakes. “You never walk alone.” And another wonderful truth the story and this whole series is centered around is that the best gift really is love. This is a WONDERFULLY heartwarming series! I received a copy of this from the author and I wanted to leave an honest review.

This is book four in the Alaskan Grooms series. I do feel it is a stand alone novel, yet was excited to learn it was part of a series. I now look forward to going back and reading about the lives of the others in this novel.
I fell in love with the town of Love, Alaska. All the many loving people and their unique personalities. Liam Prescott is a handsome doctor with a secret he is afraid to share. Ruby can only remember the past two years of her life, however she feels drawn to the town of Love.
Both Liam and Ruby have much to learn. The connections they make and the struggles they face are real. The author does a great job describing the circumstances and the details of the town of Love.
I am not sure if their is more to this series bur I look forward to it if there is.
