I'm a bit skeptical of this book. I agreed with a good portion of what Brown was saying, but the main concept of his book is to follow "The Oracle," which really boils down to Prosperity Preaching. Essentially, Brown believes that the closer you follow God, the more blessed your life will be, but as soon as you turn your back to God's teachings, you will live a cursed life. I don't think it's as black and white as that. Overall, our faiths and beliefs just don't quite line up, unfortunately.
