I'M ADDICTED TO HER, AND I WON'T STOP UNTIL I GET MY FIX.

When a little girl shows up on the front stoop of the Fury's Storm HQ,
I tell her the obvious truth: "You're at the wrong place, hon."
But then she hands me a note that flips my world upside down.

It says she's my daughter.

I'm the last man on this earth who should be caring for a child.
The only women in my life are the rotating cast of scantily clad groupies who keep my bed warm at night.
So what the hell am I supposed to do with a daughter?

I tell my men to find a way to get Gigi back to her mother.
But they come back and tell me the girl's mom has disappeared without a trace.
Now what?

Just then, a woman knocks at the clubhouse door.
I open it and freeze.
Jamie is a knockout to say the least.
She's pretty, but she doesn't know it.
Sexy, but she hasn't been made to feel it.
Eager, if only the right man were there to stoke her fires.
That's where I come in.

Jamie is Gigi's teacher and she's desperate to keep her favorite student safe.
But as clues to Gigi's mom's disappearance crop up in new and unexpected places, the two of us clash and mesh with wild intensity.
I've never felt like this about a woman before.
I want her.
I need her.
I crave her.

And I'm going to take her, again and again... Until I overdose.

A better story than the first in the series, Bounty. However, too many pieces of this story had elements of the first book. That bothered me a bit. I wanted this book to feel completely different.

I appreciate the fact that this author leaves the club whores, cheating, over kill cussing, and the P word out of her stories. Bravo to that! I also like how the women who do 'work' at the clubhouse are nice, sweet, and genuinely good to the heroine- in both books of this series.

I loved Jamie- and how she loved Gigi. I loved the two ending epilogues as well.

Jamie has taken a special interest in her student Gigi, she knows her home life is poor and when she misses a week of school she decides to investigate. Jamie ends up at Fury's Storm MC where she finds Gigi and her newly found father.

Lance never expected to be a father, when Gigi is literally dropped off at his doorstep he is left reeling. He is trying to find her mother but never expects her teacher to show up and refuse to leave without her. Lance makes a deal with her, she stays with him at compound taking care of Gigi until it is safe for them to leave and he will think about his role as father to Gigi. He doesn't plan on falling hard for Jamie or the fact that the feelings are mutual. Can he really have it all?

Entertaining. I thought the story was swift and you are anxious to find out what happens where Gigi is concerned. If you like MC books where opposites attract, definitely one to pick up.

Enjoyable Read. Lance is the President of The Fury' s Storm MC and is used to living a life of riding free, drinking hard liquor and having countless women moving through his bedroom doors. Then in the space of one week EVERYTHING changes. With new people around him , his old life and his future collide and he discovers the new woman he would like to have in his bed is nothing like his usual type.
The chemistry is hot. The plot moves quickly. Dual pov. It was maybe a bit too instalove for me but I still enjoyed it. Also, Jamie was a bit too judgemental and aloof for my liking but she was very loyal and brave. Gigi is a sweetie .

So I found this book on Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets blog and it was a gem. I loved it. Talk about an entertaining and easy read that was GOOD. There is the key word. This book also hit home for about two seconds because the guy .. no .. but the situation .. yes. (Im a Kindergarten teacher.) And you worry about your students when they are absent for a length of time. This is how the story begins ….

Jamie is worried about one of her star students Gigi. She knows her mother’s background and although Rae has been trying her best lately maybe something happened. Drugs can do that to you. Deciding to go past the house she finds it abandoned --- taking her courage she knocks on a neighbors door to find out the name of Gigi’s father. Little does she know what she is in for as she head to the Fury Storm MC looking for Lance. Jamie knows Gigi has never met her father and fears what she is going to find once she gets to the club house.

Lance is the president of his MC. He parties hard and the girl next to him .. he doesn’t even remember her name. The life is getting hard for him. He is getting too old for all of this but stopping … naw … why. Who wouldn’t want this. Heading to the clubhouse he has no idea his life is about to change. Opening the door he finds a small child with a note I her pocket. Terrified the little girl refuses to speak but gives him the note. Rae … what in the hell has she done as there is no denying this child is his. Why is he just now finding out and where the heck is Rae?

This is a really good read with action. You wont believe what Rae has done and lord knows I wanted to smack her. I loved the banter between Jamie and Lance. The story was well written and don’t we wish this happened when we went in search of our lost kids … uh yes … every girls wants a mans man right?!?!?!?! -- This is a standalone with an HEA.

Great read -- I recommend clicking this one up. This book is free on Kindle Unlimited. After you finish this one click up the others Zoey offers. I plan to! Thank you for a really enjoyable story Zoey. I look forward to more from our Fury’s MC.

I really liked the blurb for this book, but sadly that's where the liking ended. So many things were wrong with this book I barely know where to start so I'm just going to batter out a list...

- An over-involved teacher who is WAY too attached and possessive of one of her students.
- A self-righteous, know-it-all, leading lady... aka Miss Over-Involved Teacher.
- Gigi's mother... I'm leaving this right here without elaborating to avoid a major spoiler.
- Severe lack of chemistry between Mr. MC President and Miss Over-Involved Teacher.
- Mr MC President and Miss Over-Involved Teacher going from disinterest, disdain, and annoyance to in lurrrrve within a couple of days.
- Mr MC President being the wimpiest MC President I've fictionally encountered. Ever.
- Whole book lacks grit and most characteristics of MC novels.
- 2D characters.
- Weak plot.

As for what I liked about this book? Easy. The cover.

Another redeeming feature was that the book ended around the 50% mark of the Kindle file... FYI the other 50% is a 'free' story which, after this, I just don't have the motivation to read.

Much better offerings exist in this genre... Very disappointing.

I love waking up and seeing a Zoey Parker ARC email, and can never wait to dig in. I thank the author for providing one for me to review.
In Overdosed, we meet straight-laced, somewhat inexperienced at life Jamie Hollis. Jamie finds that a student, GiGi, whom she goes above and beyond for due to her difficult home life, hasn't been coming to school. Jamie decides to start looking.
This brings us to the doorstep of the Fury's Storm MC, and their snarky, player, bad-boy president Lance Richmond. He only finds out he is Jamie's Father when Gigi stops going to school because her mother disappears.
In a race to find out where her mother has gone, and why, the unlikely pair teams up and takes you on a firestorm of action, intensity, endearing supporting characters, and a heart-fluttering HEA. Quickly moving and suspenseful, Zoe Parker writes a twisty adventurous, steam-filled MC Romance that I couldn't put down.

Okay.

This is a different approach to the MC genre. These characters seem to question their feelings and their positions quite a bit.. I prefer a much more alpha male that is sure of his feelings and more assertive about the decisions that need to be made. It was almost at the end before they acknowledge their feelings. Also, the continuous internal dialog was repetitious and boring....quite easy to skip. In addition, I did not care for the author's continued references to "those" people referring to the MC club. The male might be okay, but "those" men are less than okay....rather pretentious and condescending especially within this particular genre. Talented writer, however, needs to do diligence to the alpha MC character and the genre.

Phenomenal!
Each story I read by this author just keeps getting better and better and grittier.
Superbly written characters, an easy to follow storyline, packed with punches and twists and turns and some eye openers for sure. Very climatic and in more ways then one. This could fall under light erotica, and romantic suspense.
Well done.

Confused on its series.
Says book 2 but Apple Books says book one with two more and good reads doesn’t have them

Leaves at a cliffhanger- like basically if you don’t go on what was the point of reading this book.

Fun read

This was a good MC romance. I love Jamie and her determination to protect Gigi. Lance cracks me up. He’s not an alpha hole more like a guy who isn’t sure what he wants. There’s drama and suspense. All in all. It was a good read.

Gigi is a really, sweet girl who has been dealt a difficult set of cards in family but when she meets her father is a ray of sunshine in the dark and then there is Jamie she is so freaking protective of Gigi.
I love that fire there is between Lance and Jamie but also the protectiveness he has towards Gigi. The girls of the house are also portraited as sweet girls that is nice for a change.

Okay, let me just tell you what is wrong with this story becaue there is bascially just one thing that I liked and that's gonna come at the end.

So, first, our MCs' first kiss is non-consent.

Second, a teacher should be supposed to report incidents when they see that a child is being neglected. Neglect is a form of child abuse. Gigi wasn't fed for days, probably weeks or months. Just one meal a day? That's just not enough and our teacher who is praised by everyone in this novel should have acted.
I mean, I'm just assuming, but could it be that she let this go on so that Gigi wouldn't move somewhere else with a family that's actually good to her?? Was our teacher really so egoistic that she would let a child suffer ?? Well, I think so, at least.

Third, a teacher should be open and non-judgmental. Well, our 'heroine' who definitely does not deserve that title is condescending. She always assumes the worst. Just because a man is in a freaking motorcycle club means that he's a bad father? Holy...
Fourth, suggesting to the legal father that she could take his daughter home with her? To what? To relieve him of the burden??? How would that work legally? She could in no way justify that. I just ... Everyone in the novel tells her how smart she is. Ahm, in fact, she's just stupid.

Fifth, Lance? He's incredibly irresponsible. And constantly drunk. But of course that immediately changes when his daughter comes into his life. Hah, yeah.

Sixth, you want some safe sex? Forget it. Not happening here. Hah. Do I have to mention that Lance has had lots of women before? And that he has probably not seen a doctor in quite some time.
Oh, yeah, and how could I forget? His daughter just showed up on his doorstep - after seven freaking years. He had no idea. Well, the same could happen now since he and our oh-so responsible teacher didn't use contraception.

Seventh, the writing style was okay but there were some mistakes in there.

Eighth, I hate it when a woman does something the man has just told her to do just because of one freaking kiss... I mean, really??? Where's your backbone???

Ninth, the motorcycle club... The women are the housewives; the men are the ones who do all the hard work. In real life. Grrrrrrrrrr

Tenth, our teacher sleeps with Lance just after he tells her he can't possibly tell her his plans because she's a woman. He only wants to protect her, of course. I mean, she's clearly not his equal and doesn't deserve to know.

Yeah, didn't finish that one as you could probably tell...

Oh, yeah, and then I promised you the thing I liked: Gigi.
She's amazing and I like that she played such a prominent role.

Jamie is a teacher, she loves all her students, but she has a soft spot for Gigi, she loves her and worries about her, so when she fails to go to school she goes looking for her, only to find her in an MC clubhouse. Lance never expected to find a little girl in his doorstep, even less to find out she is his daughter, he remembers her mother, but he never suspected that she was pregnant and he doesn't understand why she never told him about her, and even less why she left the girl with him only to later disappear.

Overdosed, Fury Storm's MC by Zoey Parker is a standalone and my first book by Parker.

I liked the premise of the story as well as the characters. The story was endearing and captivating.

Lance Carter, Fury Storm MC Prez, was a gorgeous playboy whose only care in the world was associated with running his club. Until one day Gigi, a seven year old daughter that he didn't know existed, showed up on his doorstep. Her beautiful teacher wasn't far behind. Jamie Hollis is the conservative, sheltered, beautiful, smart, sexy, confident and feisty teacher that takes the clubhouse by storm in her quest for Gigi's safety.

Parker takes us through the chemistry, stubbornness, suspense, and challenges between Lance and Jamie while trying to resolve Gigi's circumstances. I liked the story and the suspenseful danger that lurked in the background, but I desired more depth into the characters and their connection.

It was refreshing to see an MC story where the MC single women were good people who were fun, nice, mature and supportive. They would make great heroines for future books.

All in all, Overdosed was an enjoyable, quick and light read. Furthermore, the supporting cast of characters was strong with the perfect set up for a series. I hope to see more of Parker in a Fury Storm MC series.

Jamie is worried when one of her students is absent for over a week. Her mother is a junkie, and Jamie is worried something could have happened to Gigi. She goes to their house only to find it empty. One of the neighbors informs her that Gigi's father is the president of a local MC, and the mother seemed spooked and commented that she was dropping her off at his clubhouse. Jamie knows Gigi hasn't met her father, and obviously a MC president isn't father material. She plans to go to his club and demand he gives her the little girl.

Lance has a good life. He's president of his club and spends his nights drinking and sleeping with random women. What else could he ask for? All that changes in the blink of an eye. A little girl shows up at his door claiming to be his daughter. Then a week later, a feisty little blonde shows up at his clubhouse asking for his daughter. He makes her a deal; stay for a few days, and the girl can leave with her. Of course, he doesn't plan on giving up his daughter. But he loves the idea of getting to know this woman also.

Overdosed is my favorite Zoey Parker book I've read so far. It was entertaining, sexy, intriguing, fun, dramatic... the list could go on! I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

I received this book as an ARC for a honest review!
I think it is a great book!
Jamie is a teacher! She as all teachers do, has a favorite student, Gigi! Gigi is seven and is very intelligent but her Mother is a single parent ans struggles with addiction. Jamie loves Gigi and wants to help her out. But Gigi disappears one day for a week and Jamie feels she has to find an answer to where Gigi is. She finds her in the place she lease expected. But she is with her Father.
Lance is the President of Fury's Storm MC. He has no idea he has a daughter until she is dumped on the door step of the MC club house. He has missed seven years of her life. And now he has to figure out what happen to her Mother, Rae. Rae has had a rough go of being a single parent but seemed to be getting her self together and now she has dumped Gigi at a MC club house with a note that Lance is her Dad and she can't take care of her right now. Lance knows it is gonna be bad when he figures out what happened to Rae. But he knows for Gigi he will have to get to the bottom of it.
Love Gigi! Jamie is an amazing character and Lance is a hot badass MC President! What's not love.
Suspenseful. Funny. I recommend it to EVERYONE!!

Sweet MC story. No nasty club-hoes, no cheating, no ow/om drama.

Lance is the president of an MC, one day a little girl is dropped off at the club with a note telling him she's his. One look and he knows she is, Gigi is 7. Five days later Jamie, her teacher tracks her down to the club, concerned. She wants to take Gigi but Lance tells her he wants to find her mother Rae, to find out what kind of trouble she's in that she would give Gigi to him after all these years. He tells Jamie she can stay the weekend with them.

These are sweet bikers, even the club girls are sweet and help look after Gigi. Wary of Jamie at first, they like after seeing she doesn't feel or act superior to tem. The bikers all watch their language around Gigi and play candyland and poker with her to entertain her. Gigi is an adorable character and steals the show.

This is more fairy tale than gritty MC book though there are dark themes and violence. There was too much inner dialogue and back and forth self-reflection with both Jamie and Lance, and I would have preferred they have more conversation. And while they were sweet there wasn't enough "I can't live without you I don't care if I'm not good enough".

I do recommend, it is a worthy read.

A lighthearted MC story - Full of suspense and danger, but a smart-mouth sassy 7 year old steals the show!

Jamie is a striking and intelligent young woman who happens to also be a very good teacher. One who cares about her students; her favourite? Gigi, a beautiful 7 year old girl who shows so much potential. One day, Gigi fails to show up to school and Jamie is determined to find out what has happened.

Lance Carter is the President of Fury Storm MC Club. He is stunned when he opens his door one day to find a 7 year old girl on his doorstep. There is no doubt in his mind that this little girl is his daughter. What he doesn’t know is why her mother hid her existence from him for so many years and why is she at his doorstep today…. What has Rae gotten herself into and in how much danger is his little girl?

Jamie tracks Gigi down and is surprised to find her hiding in an MC Club. What’s even a bigger surprise to her, is her attraction to Lance…

The story is well written; Lance and Jamie have amazing chemistry but Gigi steals the show! The story line was great, loads of suspense, drama, danger, however, I felt like it was a little rushed at the end. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Well, what can i say! I am really ambivalent about this book.

On the one site you have:
Great characters and a good plot. The storyline was really refreshing and a brilliant idea.

On the other site:
It was poorly implemented in my opinion.

The two protagonists were totally opposites. The idea of a lovers approach due to fighting and scratching is a good one, but again poorly implemented. There was no constant rise in tension, not emotionally nor sexually during those occasions leading to the much expected Boom ending in bed!
Additionally I just don't like the "insta-kinda-love story". Let's just fall in love in 4 days. Swoop
Yeah, no, doesn't work for me.

Then there was the writing style.
Literally almost every "ducking" chapter started with several pages of the character mulling over everything and nothing. This was beyond frustrating. Hypothetical theories about how and why and when and what ifs!!!
Not my cuppa tea.
The book would have probably been 50% shorter minus all that unnecessary thought diarrhea.

Additionally there was a free bonus book "Trouble" from the author.
Well it was worse.

My favourite book by Zoey yet

I loved this book so much. Not only do you have a goody goody teacher and hot alpha biker you have the most adorable little girl that will steal your heart.

Gigi is left on the steps on a motorcycle club, with a note telling the president of the motorcycle club she is his daughter. Lance has no idea how to look after a child let alone a little girl.

After missing school all week gigi teacher Jamie starts to worry as she knows gigi doesn't have the best mom, so she goes looking for her. After a neighbour tells her gigi it at this motorcycle club, Jamie drives right up to the club demanding to take Jamie with her as a motorcycle club is not the right place to raise a girl. There is a instant spark between Jamie and lance but neither will admit it. While lance tries to figure out why gigi mother has disappeared he convinces Jamie to stay at the club to help look after gigi.

Not going to spoil the story, but there is drama, danger and sex what else can you want from a MC book.

Another goody from Ms Parker!
I love how she showed the vulnerability of teaching and how the lines can blur and make you start to question whether what is right or wrong. Absolutely what Jamie was doing for Gigi was right, regardless of what her superiors would say or do. I rooted for her from the beginning. Than poor Lance, waking up one day to find this poor child on his door step with just a note and terrifying her to death to boot. But with the few instincts he has and help from members he takes her in and makes a home for her. Than all hell breaks loose! I really love the dynamic Zoey built between Jamie and Lance, she didn't just throw them into bed together. And all the club guys grew very attached to Gigi regardless of the age gab and awkwardness, loved it!!! Everything seemed to build and produce organically, it was perfect. This turned out to be one of my favorite reads of hers. I definitely recommend it!

Another great read! This book is about a young girl named Gigi, who had a shitty mom who use drugs. Jamie is her teacher whom from the first day of school new Gigi was special girl but had a sad look in her eyes. Jamie instantly felt the need to protect her. Lance was the president of his motorcycle club. Bachelor's loved his life as is. One day a kid arrived at his motorcycle club entrance, giving him a note that she was his daughter. Gigis mom never told Lance she was pregnant. Jamie went to the club to ask him to give her Gigi, his daughter custody. Their chemistry was off the chart even if Jamie got on his nerves. Jamie thought Lance was a danger to Gigi and couldn't raise a child. Lance, one day he was a bachelor and the next he was a dad and falling for someone who annoyed him dearly. She was set on Lance giving her Gigi to provide a better life. I loved the way the book flowed. There was no dull part at all. Can't wait to read another book from Zoe Parker!

Wow!
description

I really enjoyed Overdosed. Our main character is, Jaime, a grade school teacher who notices one of her students, Gigi, has been missing class a lot, which while strange, isn't something new. Jaime goes in search of Gigi only to find out that her mother left her with her father, the leader of a an MC.
Sometimes with these MC novels i get lost in the tornado of action and romance and don't even question how the a strong leading female character can just fall in love with someone completely her opposite, but after the reading is done i see that it makes no sense at all; this was the only flaw that i found with the relationship plot, other than that it's a really great read!

I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Each Zoey Parker book I read just gets better and better. She did an amazing job letting you know the characters and get to know their background. It was fast pace but still have you the information you needed.

Jamie loves her job as a teacher, and has a special soft spot for one student, Gigi. When she doesn't show for a couple of days, Jamie goes to look for her and finds her with her father, Lance leader of the MC Fury's Storm. Jamie tries to get Lance to let her keep Gigi and instead he persuades her to stay at the clubhouse and watch Gigi there. As the days go on the sparks fly between Jamie and Lance and soon they will have to face their greatest fear when Gigi goes missing. Will they find a way to save Gigi and their relationship?

Great story, some bits got a bit confusing but overall it was entertaining. Teachers aren't supposed to have favorites but for Jamie Hollis, he favorite was Gigi. A daughter is a 'clean' heroine addict, heavy emphasised on clean, she relapses before the story is done and the damage she cause hadn't been inflicted.
Lance, MC President, start his week with a strange woman in his bed and a two day worth of a hangover, that will be the day he went from single to old to party guy to a father of a 7 year old then 5 days later he'll find the woman that he body and heart crave, a very scared but pissed off teacher. Deals are made, lives will be changed and truth will be revealed and evil sellers will do anything for a quick chunk of change.

Book 1 in a M/C story . Hero is Lance . Heroine is Jamie .
This is a fast pace but very detailed romance story .
What happens when the president of a M/C finds out a surprise . He's a dad . He's child Gigi is left outside the clubhouse by her Mother . Lance didn't know he was a dad . He hasn't seen the mother since before Gigi was born .
The mother left Gigi outside the clubhouse with just a note .
Jamie is Gigi teacher . Jamie goes looking for Gigi and some people pointed Jamie to Lance and the clubhouse .
Once Jamie sees Gigi at the club house Jamie wants to take her away to her house . Lance won't let her and makes a deal with Jamie .
Sooo who wins with the pull and tug . Why did Gigi's mother leave her . Grab it and find out

*******given an ARC for an honest review*****
I have read a few books written by Zoey Parker and Overdose has been my favorite. The male lead character deals with finding out he is a father. As he deals with this a know it all teacher comes into the picture threatening to take the child, claiming she could do a much better job. It was a great story. However, I feel the author should have researched before writing it. The teacher could have called cps in but she herself would have never been legally allowed to take possession of the child. Even with the lack of research, I loved the battle between the 2 main characters.
