Susan has been dating Curtis for a few months, and her supposed friend Vivian has been hounding her to let her meet him. Vivian is a superficial woman who always puts Susan down for the way she dresses and her lack of make up. Curtis and Susan have a psychic connection and know when the other is around. Curtis instantly dislikes Vivian who starts hanging all over him. He can read her every thought, since he is a vampire, of course. Vivian is so jealous that Curtis will not bend to her wiles, she attacks Susan constantly with words and nails.
Susan is told by Curtis that he is a vampire and wants to spend eternity with her. Susan agrees, and while she is out Vivian runs her over and breaks her back so she will never walk again. Can the pure ones turn her before she is paralyzed forever, or will Curtis be wed forever to a vampire who will be paralyzed forever?
