I didn't expect the cover to actually happen in the story.
4 issues same day i am on fire, but my shoulder is killing me i read these laying down.
This is really tough for 12 years old kids to figure out, you get a hockey stick from your friend saying don't trust the other Erin and go to this place.
Other Erin says its a trap i ll save you and take you to the future.
We should decide by playing eeny meeny, best decision ever.
But to tell you the truth since the gay couple from the future saved Erin already, they should trust the clone Erin.
Also all people above 30 are monsters? Come on i will be that in 5 months lol.

It's difficult to talk about the plot now without spoiling things but know that it's good.

This series is really going south. I'm not sure if I want to keep reading it or give it up. I feel like the story is spiraling out of control and I'm not sure what is going on anymore.

"the here and now is neither here nor now"

Paper Girls are having their own version of "The Day of the Doctor" with some Pacific rim and mirror universe stuff, coz normal is boring.

I see we’ve reached a great dilemma, one I thought we would reach a conclusion on in this issue. Nonetheless i loved it and I’m as confused as my girls are and can’t wait to know who’s the “bad” Erin.

I started reading this series before Stranger Things came out found it mildly interesting but not super engaging, then watched and loved Stranger Things alongside the rest of America, came back to this and found it exactly what I needed to fill the void. They're very distinct from each other, but the kids-on-bikes-in-the-'80s-encountering-the-paranormal thing – I haven't seen a lot of '80s scifi/horror movies, so ST gave me the background I needed to better appreciate PG, I think.

This series gives me the sense of a much richer, more involved, more science fictiony backstory, too – and given the writer, I can't wait to see where he takes it. Art is great, color palette is immersive and the characters' bone structure stays the same from panel to panel (pet peeve I developed after they mercilessly butchered Rat Queens, sigh).

Okay, so once again the issues always end on beautiful, interesting points but I'm still super confused about what is going on with all these Erins and about the struggle between the children and adults over 30 and the apple device!

I don't even know what the Hell is going on anymore, but I have to admit to feeling some distress as Erin tries to figure out which Erin might not be truthful.

Bit of a let down issue for me. Just wasn't feeling it. Can't see exactly where this story is going anymore :\

9th issue. Still not a single poor scene. A lot of suspense, a lot of surprises, a lot of good writing (the quote about people over thirty is absolutely brilliant), perfect atmosphere... I know I'm telling it in my every review, but honestly, this comic is brilliant. It's like Doctor Who mixed with Stranger Things, but... it also isn't. Because Paper Girls comic has its own unique charm. Something that makes it completely different from everything else out there. Obviously, I loved this issue. The main idea here is that girls should make an important decision, but they still can't trust anyone. Extremely good and interesting reading.

I've come to Paper Girls because of Vaughan. More precisely because of the Under the Dome TV series. Without spoiling any of them, the nice characters are Stephen King's characters, and the mess, especially from the 3rd season of the TV series seems to be the mess in Vaughan's head. Also, now it's obvious that the fail of the 3rd season is partly because of Vaughan's incapacity to make stories. He can limitless expand rehashing popular culture, but that is about all. Never mind the lack of ending, the guy has an inability to build up for a high point.

These girls kick ass, and they are so cool! I’m an 80’s baby, so I relate to all of the so much. Loved all the characters and the storylines are insane! If you like stranger things and time traveling this is a must read. The tv show is coming out this summer too. Love the artwork and coloring in it. Really great books. Recommend getting the hard cover volumes. Very nice quality and beautiful graphics!
